Thank you, Ryan Schwank.
That’s how we’re gonna win. Not fighting what we hate, saving what we love.
Aliya Rahman is the U.S. citizen who was dragged from her car by ICE agents in Minneapolis while trying to get to her doctor’s appointment. She was not intending to observe or protest ICE activity. She provided testimony of her ordeal to Congress earlier this week during a joint public forum. You should watch her testimony, listen to her words.
Mocking a federal agent for being a little bitch without fearing for your life is a core American right.
Quote is a paraphrase of a post by @DanielMillerEsq on the app formerly known as Twitter.
I believe today what 1 always have: that there is nothing America can't do - when we do it together. We just have to remember we are the United States of America.
-President Joe Biden
The year is 2364, social media platforms of all kinds rose and fell like empires. Only tumblr is still running, a reminder of times long gone. The number one trending topic: Destiel.

On this dreary 1st weekend of October, I look back in gratitude, not only on the unbelievably good weather we had for our wedding last year, but also on the countless blessings and good fortune we’ve had in relation to the wedding and over the past year. From the little things, like finding out the mismatched bridesmaid dresses looked as good in person as they did in my head, to the bigger things, like not being limited by COVID restrictions and not having anyone (to our knowledge) come down with COVID from the wedding. For being able to safely celebrate with all of our friends and family, we are eternally grateful.
That wasn’t to say we didn’t have challenges. About a month before the wedding I was notified by Air BNB that the booking we were using for a getting ready space and place to stay over until to the honeymoon, had been cancelled by the owners. A couple days after that, Dave tested positive for COVID. It certainly could have been worse, but it was still an absolute nightmare. I switched frenzied last minute wedding planning and appointments for frenzied household disinfection, isolation quarantine, and testing appointments. Multiple wedding appointments had to be rescheduled later in the month due to my having to quarantine, and Dave spent 10 days isolated in the bedroom. If I tested positive later in the game, my 10-day quarantine would restart. The stakes were incredibly high.
But we made it through. Dave survived isolation and my cooking for 10 days straight and all the necessary appointments were rescheduled in time for the wedding. We were also able to find a comparable Air BNB replacement. In the end, everything turned out splendidly. As we’re driving back from our anniversary trip in a bit of traffic and quite a bit of rain, I am thankful.
