So I suppose the time i spend standing in the stairwell of a parking structure waiting for my father and my cousin to arrive and give me a ride to Thanksgiving is the right time to mention how thankful I am for the people on here that make my tiny corner of the BL world so beautiful and joyous every time I view this wondrous hellsite.

From @absolutebl who's been here practically the entire time I've been in the fandom (we've been watching it grow and change for so long!) to @gayteezsnailboats who's just the best to @benkaben who shares so much passion to @hughungrybear who shares just as much as I do to just... everyone, y'all. Everyone who comments or likes or reblogs or rambles in tags(special love to this) or even just sees my stuff. I am thankful that all of you exist and are here and my life is brighter and better for it.

Every time I remember, I try to be thankful for my life, for being born in the century I am.

Walking through the grocery store like Walmart, I remind myself that I'm so blessed. Someone from a lifetime ago wouldn't have access to all the things I do today, nor have all the food options we do, aisles upon aisles of food, medication, hygiene products, hardware, even camping and weapons, and etc

Being a woman, a grown female who can go in and do this on my own, purchase these things on my own without the approval of a husband, father, brother, or some other male. And with my own money from my own job. And doing this as a Black woman as well

I have to remind myself that I'm blessed
