“shhhh yourself,” he whisper-shouted back at callie, pushing past the blonde to get into her room before anyone could catch him for sneaking around. “relax, calzone. only if we get caught,” he pointed out, plopping himself down comfortably. taking a swig from the vodka bottle, he grimaced from the taste before pushing it towards callie. “alright, you ready for this?” flashing the other a mischievous grin, ryder pulled out a bag of dungbombs from his pocket. “can’t start off a new year without a little prank, amiright? i was thinking we could rig the classroom doors with these. what do you say?”

“alright, alright. that one was too easy. this time, you gotta catch three in your mouth,” ryder challenged, holding up three fingers as his other hand held a box of bertie bott’s beans. to make it more difficult, he took a few steps back, increasing the distance between himself and roman. now at least half a dozen feet away from the other, ryder shook out a few jelly beans into his hand and got into position to throw them at roman. “ready??”

when he was over at ian and roman’s place to hangout with roman, ryder dropped his pizza slice on the couch cushion. he tried to wipe it off, but it left a big grease stain. so he just turned the cushion around and hoped no one, especially ian, would notice.

that night, ryder had a dream that ian found the grease stain and made him clean it. except the cushion was as big as a skyscraper and ian only gave him a toothbrush to try to get the stain out. the more he scrubbed, the bigger it got. eventually it covered the entire cushion and ian got so mad that he turned into the hulk.

big bear was going bankrupt, so ryder and vic had to pull a jewel heist in order to save it. there were lots of action sequences, explosions and all around badassery. also dream!vic thought all of dream!ryder’s ideas were A+.

there are so many!! one that sticks out is probably the first time ryder and aylie saw each other again since he left london. he felt incredibly guilty for leaving and was worried that she hated him for doing that. but it was like things hadn’t changed between them. they did all their favourite big bear things that they’d done when they were little, even the things that they used to do with their mom. it was a good day and maybe there were some tears, but it didn’t hurt so much to talk about their mom anymore.

hands down when their mom passed away. it was just a brutal time for the whole family. ryder wanted to be there for aylie, but he also didn’t really know how when he was struggling to deal with what had happened himself. so he packed up that night after the funeral, pretended to move to boston early for college and just left.

believe it or not, ryder does have secrets that he keeps from aylie. not intentionally though. sometimes he just forgets to tell her things and other times, he thinks it’s just not really that important anymore. like when he and ingrid dated for a bit years ago. he thinks because that was so long ago, there isn’t really a point to bring it up now.

there’s this old, seemingly abandoned, possibly haunted building that ryder passed by every day on his way to work. one night when he was bored, he talked callie into checking it out with him. they broke in, explored around, then got high on the roof. when the security guard found them, ryder nearly shit his pants cuz he thought it was a ghost. luckily they got off with just a warning.
