rylrubyrose:
Sorry, momma, I am like, ridonciously late with this, but I’ll be back in town this weekend, think we can find time to hit a shelter then?
Hey, there’s no time limits on these things, we’re fine. We can go whenever you’re ready and around town.
thissebstan:
A few, I feel like they keep multiplying for some reason. I blink, and there’s two, then there’s four, and so on… some found really great families already, so that makes me happy. He’s a doofus, but he has this incredibly big heart and uses it for good. Plus he has Soph, who’s even more into helping and doing the right and good thing than he is. Honestly? You are right about that. We could’ve used some more kids on set, when we were doing Avengers.
That tends to be the way with animals, and kids. I guess I could say be thankful they’re not rabbits? You’d be overrun, I feel like you could do a bunny version of 101 Dalmatians if that ever happened. You’d make a fine Cruella De Vil, Sebastian. You can always borrow my two, they’d love to spend time on a set!
justmaxirons:
That sounds like a very fulfilled life you’re having, or aspiring to.
It really is, I’m extremely happy with it. My kids are happy and healthy, and growing like stalks, so everything is great!
simplygemma:
I have a sister, but otherwise, we were a smaller family, since most of our relatives were, and still are, in Hongkong and Scotland - my mother’s parents, my grandparents, left China, so she grew up in Scotland. My sister and I grew up South East of London in Kent, and it wasn’t much of a crazy life, to be fair. But I never felt alone, either, thankfully.
That’s actually pretty cool. I love hearing family histories, seeing how and where people grew up. Mostly because I don’t like to share about my own, Have you visited China? You probably get asked that a lot.
gwillee:
Thank you, glad to finally be here, i started the process of buying my place a while ago now and it’s so nice to have everything here and actually be able to make it a home now, i stopped with a friend in LA for a bit after shipping my stuff so wouldn’t have to arrive here off of a stupidly long transatlantic flight. So some stress was taken off. See now that’s what i’m hoping for actually i want to be able to soak up the sun and drink a cold lemonde on my days off and not have to worry as much about having to deal with days where we experience all the seasons in the space of tweleve hours.
Getting down to the final hurdles is one of the best feelings. It’s great you’ve taken the leap to move out here; we’re kind of the paradise away from the regular hustle and bustle. Oh yes, I can imagine that that would be a concern, speaking of season, though, what’s your favorite one?
gwillee:
So apparently this is the place everyone has slowly been taking over, i have to say now I’m officially here i can see why, i got a place by the beach and i have never done that before. Most the recent years I’ve lived in London, other then visits to friends in LA, but I’ve found my new reading spot on my deck watching the waves crash, definitely more peaceful than having to keep my windows closed on hot days to block out busy traffic sounds. Hi royal residents I’m Gwilym.
First of all, welcome to Royal Gwilym. I can sure as hell confirm that reading a good book on a deck, while the waves crash in the background is a sure way to deal with the stresses of moving house. This town will offer a lot, but, the waves and the shore are going to be the highlight. Make sure you’ve got yourself a chilled glass of something, too. It gets hot out on the decks.
royalpeacekeeper:
So I think it goes without saying that we’ve all probably gotten addicted to some mobile games the past few months. I think for me it’s State of Survival, which is a zombie survival, player vs player type of game. What about you guys? Any of you into mobile games at all? Which ones have you been playin’ a lot more of durin’ your time inside?
I’m forever challenging my kids to Candy Crush, yes, it’s still a thing in our house. Also, we’ve been playing old school Sonic, they saw the movie and wanted to know more about the game.
rylroger:
Heya Royal! You may not recognize this mug of mine, but I’m Roger and I’m a voice actor who was voted class clown at some point and I’m still prone to shenanigans from time to time. You might know me as Sonic the Hedgehog in the games, or even Batman and Captain America in some cartoons, amongst other characters of course. Lately I’m Mirage in Apex Legends! But it’s really really awesome to be here and it’s great to meet all of you.
Voice acting is something I envy sometimes. I’d love to be able to just arrive at work in my sweatpants and a hoodie and just go to town. I’ve heard that there’s sometimes a little camera recording facial expressions, is that true? Anyway, welcome to town, I’m Charlize.
rylrubyrose:
Four dogs is nothing. Okay, so I don’t even have four at the moment. But damn, look at Ariana, she’s got like 200 of them and it’s not enough. And cheers, now I want to hit a shelter again.
Ariana is really out there with all her animals! She’s living the dream. If you’re going to a shelter, hit me up, we can go together.
moonlightriana:
I mean, it’s not like I don’t constantly have a dog blanket anyway, but if you need help collecting more dogs, I’ll be right there with you, happily adding new additions to my 9-dogs-1-piglet pack.
I really enjoy the fact you have that many dogs and a piglet! I really need to spend time with your fluffy squad.
justmaxirons:
If you ask my wife, there’s never enough dogs in the house. I think three are more than enough, four, if really necessary… but more than that and you could open a shelter of your own.
Maybe that’s my plan all along. I love having a full house; kids, babies, dogs, family! It’s a blessing!
thissebstan:
We’ve been fostering puppies for the last few weeks - thanks to the Evans family for that suggestion - and it’s been chaotic and wild, and really funny, too. So I’d understand, if you wanted more than four dogs. But… what do you do with them, while you’re working?
How many have you been fostering? Yeah, Evans always has these bright ideas and then disappears when people listen to him! I’m one of those (dog) moms who brings everyone to work with her, every set is brighter with a couple of pups and kids running around.
simplygemma:
I think I’d be overwhelmed with more than one already… how do you do this, kids, dogs and all?
I grew up being around a lot of bodies, so I’m kind of used to it. I’ll tell you that it never gets lonely, I love that.

“You probably don’t remember me, but we met at the Critic’s Choice Awards last year,” Claire said, approaching Charlize with a smile on her doll-like facial features. She was never overly confident, and didn’t think herself as particularly memorable. The entire concept of fame was still pretty foreign to her, considering she could care less if people knew her or watched her work. “It’s so good to see you here in Royal! I think we spoke once briefly since you’ve been here, and that should change. What have you been up to recently?” She asked, curiosity evident in her voice as she took a seat on the park bench.
Charlize had always tried to pride herself in being approachable to those around her, with the exception of the paparazzi, those guys were always jerks. As she heard the voice beside her, she looked up from her cell phone game; Candy Crush or whatever she was into at that minute and looked up at Claire. The taller woman nodded a greeting and smiled as she lowered her phone into her lap, “I remember. Kate, no.Ca-- Claire, right?” She beamed at the woman, who had since sat beside her.
