Who do you think smokes more between the two of them?
I don't imagine either of them as fierce smokers, but still, I'd say Hermann. Like it's the only bad habit that he allows himself to have (well not the only one, but yk). And Newt, even though he seems to be more of an 'addiction' person, just doesn't really like the taste, but he still sometimes smokes, recalling the habit from his youth that he picked up from his dad and uncle.
And imagine Newt going with Hermann on a smoke break on the days when they don't argue that much
so I thought abt it a lot and I think Hermann is a slow smoker you know, he likes taking his time to smoke, he enjoys it, while Newt would, I think, smoke a lot, or a least often light cigarettes bc he’s so running everywhere all the time, and then stop midway because he doesn’t really like the taste so he’d either put it out to finish it later or give it to Hermann but in my mind he definitely smokes a lot.
