“No, love.” She sighed and kissed her cheek. “I love you just the way you are. I’m still 20, I forget sometimes.”

“Did you forget that I am already eighteen as well now?” Caitlyn pouted slightly before kissing Rylen back. “You are just already so grown up. Something I still have to do myself at some point, it seems.” @rylenmyoung​

She shook her head. “No, you’re grown up enough.” Rylen kissed her cheek and squeezed her hand. “I love you very much, just the way you are.”

“I know, love.” She sighed. “We can do whatever you want though. I don’t care.” Rylen grinned. “I have missed you though, darling.”

“only if it is something you want to do as well, Ry. I don’t wanna force you, after all,” Caitlyn told Rylen with a gentle smile. She wanted to have more time they could spend together. But they also wanted Rylen to be able to enjoy it, as well. “And I have missed you. Though, Ry, be honest - am I too lively and too carefree for your taste sometimes maybe?” @rylenmyoung​

“No. I was reading for fun. Sorry love. However, I have been doing very well in class, so we can do what you’d like.” Rylen swung their hands as they walked.

“Hey, Ry, there is no need to worry about that, really,” Caitlyn gave her girlfriend a smile. “If you enjoy reading, then read. I was only worried because it seemed you have been nothing but studying lately, you know?” @rylenmyoung​

"I know, love." She sighed. "We can do whatever you want though. I don't care." Rylen grinned. "I have missed you though, darling."

“So….” Caitlyn looked at Rylen as they started to walk through the camp. Squeezing her hand once. “How are you doing, Ry? Do you still study so hard because of us and things?” It was the first thing Cat wanted to know. Also because she felt they had both sort of avoided the topic so far. @rylenmyoung

"No. I was reading for fun. Sorry love. However, I have been doing very well in class, so we can do what you'd like." Rylen swung their hands as they walked.

Caitlyn smiled at Rylen. “I really would like to go outside for a bit. Go onto a walk. And talk about us. Because there are a lot of questions stuck in my head lately, love.” @rylenmyoung

She stood up. "Alright, no problem, Cat." Rylen grabbed her hand and walked out of the cabin. She grinned at her girlfriend, happy they were back on track. Ry had been extremely depressed while they hadn't been on good terms, though it was hard to tell.

Cora frowned at the book she was reading- or, to be more specific, the shadow that was covering it. When it didn’t move away after a minute, she sighed and looked up, narrowing her eyes. “What do you want? Can’t you see I’m busy?”

“Get up dear, Lucas told me it’s time for you to train. Now.” Rylen took the book from her younger sister. “It’s not all books, intelligence, and being a detective.”

Rylen turned and pulled Caitlyn closer. “What do you think you’re doing, Miss Mckenzie?” She smirked and kissed her softly.

“I was trying to steal your hat to distract you…” Caitlyn admitted with a chuckle, obviously not even very ashamed because of it. “Did it work?” @rylenmyoung​

“Yes, darling. It worked.” She laughed and put her book down, turning in her chair. “What do you wanna do, my darling?”

Caitlyn giggled quietly as she sneaked up from behind, trying to pick up the other camper’s hat so she could wear it herself for a moment.

Rylen turned and pulled Caitlyn closer. “What do you think you’re doing, Miss Mckenzie?” She smirked and kissed her softly.

“Jane!” She cried. “It is too dangerous out there for you, gods! I know you’re my sister, but you’re not as trained as us.”

“Us…” she repeated with a cold voice. “Well, I assure you, I’ve never been more offended, your majesty” A slight smile appeared as Jane took a step back and returned the book on the shelf. “Just forget I ever said anything. From now on, no one’s gonna hear from little Jane Nolan a damn thing, cause she doesn’t need to explain herself to anyone anymore.”

"No, Jane. That is not what I meant." She frowned. "You just need to be careful, especially when a girl who can take on 2 of almost any monster gets severely injured."

Caitlyn was still sniffing when Ry kissed her - mostlyn from happiness now, though, a part also came from being totally embarrassed over her sudden emotional outburst. Though, truth to be told, she was also still confused about the fact no one had really seen Ry around over the last couple of days. But that maybe was no topic to talk about now. “You should notn say such things to me, Ry,” the redhead mumbled instead. Shaking her head as she did. “Also because…. I am almost one-hundred percent sure you mean them this way.”

“Just, c’mon.” Rylen pulled Caitlyn back to the Athena cabin and locked the door. “I’m sorry I was being so stupid and insensitive and ignoring you. I just wanted to do this for us because then we wouldn’t have to worry. I was promised a good job as soon as I got my college diploma. And it pays well too.” Ry sighed. “But I can see I was neglecting my Cat.” She pulled Cat closer and kissed her again, falling back onto the bed.
