rytsangmin:
( ... )
sangmin shakes off the thought of the upcoming rhythms project. truthfully, he’s looking forward to being matched up, see who the world thinks he’s compatible with and continue with his half-truths and half-lies. "i forgot what i was—” he glances at his laptop. “right, right! i’m wondering if you want to work with me. i haven’t pitched anything to the big boss lady yet, but i think she’ll be inclined to the idea.”
truthfully, aria was never good with people. even during her childhood she was the type that solely went to school and home, with the exception of her dance practices. her group of friends were solely embers of her dance squad, plus the occasional child of one of her parent’s friends that were forced onto her. she was the kind of person that could get by just fine without talking to people, yet somehow, she managed to rope herself into an industry where not doing so, and actively staying out of tangled messes of drama was seen as a bad thing.
“ah. okay then,” she answers, nodding slowly. whatever goes on between sangmin and angel isn’t her concern-- not only does she not care to hear about anything that reads as hetero bullshit, but it isn’t something that relates to her so she has no interest in sticking her nose in it. if she wants people to stay the hell out of her business, it’s only right for her to extend the same courtesy to everyone else. “right... i almost forgot about that. doesn’t seem likely, though. pairing outside the company lines would be more beneficial, i’d think. people see mirage bonds enough as it is, something different could pull more attention.” she crinkles her nose at the mention of the show-- again, not caring to hear about more hetero bullshit. to say that she’s dreading it would be an understatement.
“what is it that you have in mind?” aria asks, one eyebrow arched out of skepticism and curiosity at the same time. “you should probably pitch the idea to her before i agree to it.”
