question for anyone that can answer. is being able to read with your eyes unfocused/crossed an ADHD thing or something else? I haven't seen anyone else that said they can. I can type and read easily with my eyes unfocused as well as with my brain kinda shut off. just curious

to the person in my 8th grade class (before I moved where I live now) that confessed to me, within not even 5 minutes of knowing me that you were afab and (I think) nonbinary. you literally made me so much more confident in my gender, like seriously. I was so scared of being who I am because I was bullied for it in my past schools and by family. I constantly think about those few minutes when I walked you to class. I was friends with the popular kids in that school and tried so desperately to fit in, so I could have easily been a dick but you still told me. I was so surprised and happy that there was actually someone else I could relate to. and you seemed so awesome and I hated that I had to leave soon after we met. I think that reaction made me come to terms with the fact that I didn't have to just be a girl or boy. you told me so proudly that you were afab and didn't identify with your assigned gender. it made me realize I am in fact nonbinary and gender nonconforming. that it's okay to like male pronouns and still wear nail polish and have longer hair. and for someone to be SO PROUD of who they were and who they are really showed me I don't have to hide myself to keep friends.

I know they will probably never see this, seeing as I don't talk to anyone from that school, let alone remember their names since I was so socially awkward, socially anxious, and depressed and never really talked to anyone besides school stuff and interests. but I wanted to say that because if not I'd feel bad about it. I could say it on a more largely used platform like tiktok or Instagram but I think it'd give me too much hope they'd find it. so here you go Tumblr
