i did my grocery shopping today in preparation for the blackout on this friday february 28th. i will not be shopping or working. i thankfully coincidentally got the day off, which i’m very happy about since i typically work fridays.

i shopped at kroger since (to my knowledge) they haven’t rolled back any dei like walmart, target, and aldi have.

i got dr pepper/7-up inc. sodas instead of coke and pepsi products. coca-cola is being boycotted by both pro-palestinian and pro-immigrant movements. pepsi owns sodastream, which is based in israel, and has been under fire in the past for building factories on palestinian land and firing palestinian workers.

its been really easy and rewarding making little changes like these and more in my day-to-day. when we all do it, the little changes make big waves. make a wave with me on friday :) keep that wave going in march and cut out amazon.

editing to add a little note here bc tbh i’m a little scared of the boycott police in op’s comments! it’s not just about friday! cut out walmart, amazon, aldi, mcdonalds, coke, etc. now!! one day isn’t gonna ~shake the corporations to their core~ but it can be a good starting point to bring us together, to get more people to boycott, and to send a small message to the big corps. then more companies, more days, more people together for the cause. idk girl some of y’all are to pressed about it!

This contract is public information. The two guys who currently control all our lives here in America heard about this, and immediately believed it was a contract with the news website Reuters to create "large scale social deception." They literally believed the federal government paid a news website to spread liberal lies and that this payment was labeled "NEFARIOUS SCHEME MONEY." Naturally they both tweeted about this to the whole country before double checking what it actually was, have not issued a correction and obviously never ever will. And here's the kicker, in case this didn't already demonstrate how fucking stupid and dangerously unhinged these losers are: The contract was made in 2018. Under Trump.
