Round 1: R.E.M. - Its The End of the World
Round 2: Dr. Dre ft Eminem - Forgot about Dre
Where It All Started||August 2013||Amellidy
Katie: The brunette narrowed her eyes at him slightly as he spoke, trying to decide if she thought he was telling the truth or not. He seemed to be--for the most part--but she was slightly reassured to know it wasn't just her who was feeling like something was off, and she found herself wondering, for the first time--if it was because he felt it too. The attraction--maybe it wasn't as one sided as Katie had thought. Her teeth gently grazed her bottom lip as she tried to come up with an answer for him. Oh, she could think of something--but she wouldn't dare say it. Not outright, anyways. Bringing her green eyes back to his blue, she found herself lightly chuckling and patting him on the shoulder, "No clue buddy," she said, her fingers moving, almost instinctualy--she didn't even noticed--from his shoulder to graze the back of his hair, "But I'm open to suggestions."
Stephen: The man would be lying if he said that the thoughts in his head were innocent as Katie's hand moved from his shoulder to the back of his neck. Hell, what mans thoughts would be anything other than what his were in this situation anyway? The insinuation wasn't exactly hard to pick up on either. "Is that so?" he asked, his eye brows raised in interest as she spoke. It wasn't that he actually had a question about anything he was just trying - and failing - to push these thoughts from his mind. He was trying - and failing - to conjure images of his wife and daughter to replace them. Even so, somewhere in his mind he knew he shouldn't be here - that he shouldn't be doing this but he couldn't seem to make himself get up and move. "I - uh..." he said before trailing off when he realized he couldn't think of what to way. "Fuck it," he finally said before his lips collided with hers in more passion that he'd realized was present in the room.

Katie: The girl nodded in agreement. She understood what he meant by it on the surface, but she couldn't help but wonder exactly why he felt that way. "What happens in Greece, stays in Greece," she said with a side smile and a shrug, "I think it has a nice ring to it!" she laughed a bit, leaning back to think about what he's just asked her. This all seemed a bit formal to her, suddenly--off. They never seemed to have these problems when they'd hung out in the past. "Shopping..." Katie answered after almost too long of a pause. "Are we good?" she spoke again, deciding to just call it like it is, in true Katie Cassidy fashion. "Is it just me?" she asked, sitting up and scooting a bit closer to him on the couch. "I feel like this," she said motioning between herself and him, "Is kinda weird all of a sudden..."
Stephen: Her question towards him took him by surprise and he was sure that was something that was reflected in his facial expression. "What? Yea, of course.." he was telling her before he trailed off as she moved in closed. "No - I mean yea, it does feel like that but we're fine," he assured her, doing his best to keep his eyes on her eyes and his hands in his lap. Truth be told, he was beginning to have trouble remembering that he had a wife and an infant child at home and he knew that was 100% to be blamed on the actress' proximity to him. "How can we..I don't know..make it not so weird?" he asked, the intention behind the question at least /mostly/ innocent.
I'm done fucking crying over it.
No blame. Crying doesn't fix anything. Best thing anyone can do is move on, I guess.

Katie: The dark haired actress shrugged and nodded in a agreement as she took another sip. He wasn't wrong. It was around this time when she'd began to feel the wine finally kick in. Thank god, she thought. She wouldn't say it out loud but being alone with him was...weird. Not in a bad way--but she felt on edge--which would have been obvious to anyone if they were inside her head. How many times had she already had to remind herself to behave? Narrowing her eyes a bit, Katie wondered if she was reading him right. Had she just made him uncomfortable showing her shoulder? Was it possible this attraction went both ways? Should she test it? Probably not. But she hadn't quit drinking the wine, like she'd told herself she would earlier--so who knew what she'd do. Pressing her lips together, she nodded her head. "I agree. Greece just seems...I don't know. A million miles away from everything back home, ya know? Like you can just forget everything going on there and do whatever you want here, right?" she asked.
Stephen: Stephen nodded in agreement with her, "Yea, its like..I don't know. What do they say about Vegas? What happens here stays here? I feel like that could be Greece..only a little more refined than imitation Elvis' performing marriages," he chuckled lightly before finishing off his glass of wine and pouring another. For just a moment there was silence between the two of them and for some reason the man felt the need to fill it, "So uh - what have you enjoyed the most about this place...besides the beach?" he asked. It was small talk but honestly, he was afraid of where his mind would wonder if there wasn't something else for it to focus on.
I mean my ex-husband has a few torrid affairs on me. Funny our world.
Ouch. I’m sorry to hear that.
I suggest wine to drown your sorrows and some Pedilyte for the inevitable hangover.
you're welcome, oh ex huh? Slipped that in there very casually.
Yea, ya know. Normal kind of relationship. Relationship was born from an affair. Then we had a kid. Got engaged. She called that off then we kind of went our separate ways. You know how it is.
I guess thats not all that conventional, but ya know.
No fucking clue honestly it was really attractive what you were doing
Well, thanks for the compliment.
My ex liked it when I hit tires with sledgehammers. I don’t know what it is sometimes.
I know you didn't ask but I feel awkward not telling you, but I started to watch Arrow like a year ago and I thought I'll need a fan when you were on screen and you were emersed in your character.
Ha! Thats great. I’ll take it, for sure. Was I doing the Salmon Ladder? That seems to be the thing that gets people for whatever reason.

Katie: "Hell, I'd drink right from the bottle if it came right down to it. Super lady like, I know," she smirked in his direction before downing the rest of her drink--and pouring some more. Katie was a lot of things, but proper probably wasn't one of them. Plus, she just wanted her damn nerves to go away--and the wine was really good. "Oh, well what the hell?" she said, lightly slapping his shoulder, "Why didn't you say anything? We could have hung out and been beach buddies. Honestly, I'm surprised I was leaving. I probably just left to get some water and came back. I swear, I've been on the beach pretty much this whole week, look, I'm just about sunburned," she said, pulling on the collar of her t-shirt to show him her slightly red shoulder. "That only happens when I'm out there for hours. I love the beach--that's almost an understatment," she told him truthfully. Tapping on the glass in her hands, she thought about his next question. Was she happy to go home? Eh, it wasn't like she was exactly going home to much. Finally she shrugged, "I guess vacations have to end at some point, right? What about you?" she asked, leaning her elbow on the back of the couch and propping her head on her hand, "I'm sure you're thrilled to go back home, huh?"
Stephen: He laughed lightly as she mentioned drinking straight from the bottle, if it were anyone else he might have doubted it but with Katie he certainly didn't. "It goes down just the same regardless, right?" The man shrugged at her next question - why didn't he approach her or at least shout out to her? He wasn't sure but it probably had something to do with the improper thoughts that were running through his head at the time, the kind a respectable married man shouldn't be having. "Oh, I don't know. You didn't look like you wanted to be bothered," he lied convincingly. Stephen's eyes lingered on the newly bare skin of Katie's shoulder for what was probably a little too long before he took another generous sip of the wine from his glass. "Yea, you did get some color for sure," he agreed with a small nod. "Me? Yea, I guess. It'll be good to sleep in my own bed. But honestly I wish we had a little longer. I don't know - theres something about this place, I guess.."

Katie: Closing her eyes as he embraced her in a small hug before quickly pulling herself together as he pulled away. She needed to cut this shit out. Married, she thought, /again/. Shutting the door, she couldn't help the small laugh that escaped her, "Red is beyond fine. If it's wine--I'll drink it." she joked as she turned in his direction, hand on hips, standing in the middle of the room. "Is it? That can't be true," she said, looking around. Were they really sitting here talking about the size of her hotel room? Looks like they were. Uncorking the wine with super fast speed, the girl poured the first cup, taking a rather large sip, then filling it some more--before filling the second. "No wine glasses, so these will have to do," she said as she handed him a glass before taking a seat at the far end of the same couch he'd taken a seat on. "Have you gotten to do much while you've been here?" she asked. Small talk. Small talk was what friends/co workers who weren't attracted to each other did, right? "I can't seem to get myself to do much more then lay out at the beach and shop."
Stephen: Stephen's eyes followed her as she moved with a quiet sort of curiosity at her movements. He couldn't help the fact that he wanted to know more about her. Taking the glass from her he took a rather decent sized sip of the wine, "These are fine. I'm really not picky about what I drink out of," he shrugged. "Yea - I did some sight seeing - ya know, normal tourist shit - but I spent a pretty decent amount of time on the beach myself. I think I saw you there the other day but you were leaving as I was coming." The statement may have sounded like he /might/ have seen her but in reality he knew he did. For a fact. You didn't exactly forget seeing a woman looking like that in a barely there bikini. Pushing that from his mind, the man pulled himself back to the present. "Excited to head home tomorrow?" he asked curiously. His answer of course was that he'd be happy to be home. Well, he knew that /should/ be his answer but, truth be told, he already didn't want this particular night to end.
Where It All Started||August 2013||Amellidy
Katie: The week was wrapping up to be a great one. Who wouldn't be having the time of their lives in her situation? A free trip to Greece? Katie was all over it. Honestly, she was kind of upset that tonight was her last night here--but all good things must come to an end, right? Besides, Stephen was on his way to her room--with wine. As far as last minute plans went, that didn't seem too bad. Even if she did have to push away all the wrong thoughts she tended to have anytime they were alone together...or in a room full of people. She couldn't help it! The dark haired actress found she had to remind herself--often--that he was in fact a happily married man and that it would be beyond wrong to make a move. But the attraction was palpable. She'd had good looking co-stars before--but this was different. She didn't want to /just/ rip off his clothes, she actually wanted to spend time with him--he was charming and funny. "And married Katie, god damn!" she said to herself, out loud, as a final reminder. Sure they'd hung out and drank plenty--but Willa and Colin or other members of the cast and crew were with them. This time, it was just them. Katie made a mental note not to drink too much wine. How terrible would that be if she got drunk and made a move on him? She might get fired, and she enjoyed her job far too much for that to happen. Hearing a knock at the door, Katie popped off the bed, slightly pulling down her jean shorts as she walked to answer it. "Married, married, married, don't get drunk" she thought to herself before swinging the door open with a smile. "Hey you!"
Stephen: He'd spent entirely too much time messing with his hair for what was supposed to be a casual hang out. Honestly, it was just two co-workers having a drink - in a hotel room. Ok, it did sound bad but really, it wasn't. He and Katie were friends, the worked together, it was only natural that they'd made a connection, right? Regardless of whether it was /right/ or not, it wasn't exactly wrong so with that thought in his head Stephen made his way to the room number she'd provided. Raising his hand the man took a deep breath before he knocked on the door a couple times, clearing his throat as he waited for the door to open. "Hey," he smiled back, pulling the woman into a loose hug. "I hope reds ok.." he offered out the bottle of wine, full well knowing that Katie was totally ok with wine at all. Moving past her, he made his way into the hotel room and took a seat on the couch in the room. "I think your rooms bigger than mine," he said as he looked around, anywhere but at her, really. What was that about?
