"I just got off the phone with the caterers. Do we want the canapés? Is it not borderline excessive? We already have four courses, and cake. The cake, Simon. The cake is massive." The stress was written on Henry's face as he dropped his keys on their dining table and immediately started unravelling the chokehold his tie had had him in all day. "It's huge."

Simon scoffed at Henry's outburst, "It's not that huge." He insisted as he bounced a one-year-old on his hip. "I think we should have the canapés. Don't you think we deserve the canapés?" He turned his attention to the baby, pointing a finger at her chest. "Lydia wants the canapés, doesn't she?" She giggled at his baby-voice and Simon turned back to his fiancé, grinning. "My hands are tied." He shrugged, giving him a quick kiss on his way past, picking up the keys he had just dropped and placing them in the appropriate dish. "How was your day?"
