There's nothing wrong with being with the one you love. But can he be somewhere without her tagging along?? It's my opinion you don't have to like it. She doesn't like to give him any space and I just feel like she don't know how to get off his ass. She's the new rebound girlfriend after Ellie! And would you really care about her if she wasn't SKRILLEX'S girlfriend?? Honestly would give a crap about her?? Laugh out loud at that. Mate.

ohhhhh goooood. the fact that i got to know her artwork through sonny has nothing to do with the fact that i would like her any less if she wasn't with him! i think she makes amazing things and that's just my opinion, you can think of her work/lifestyle/... whatever you want .

but please try to stop with all the negative feelings! do you have a partner? if you do/would, wouldnt you want to be with them? 'tagging along' is literally just hanging out. that's just what you do, no?

it's also a bit weird how you're calling a 'rebound' when it's been more than a year since ellie and skrill broke up. and skrilly is probably happy with charmaine now (otherwise they wouldn't be together) and whoever makes him happy is right for him. just let them be, chill.

I think charmaine needs to stop following sonny everywhere! Isn't she an "painter or an artist"? So, why does she feel the need to be in every pic and in every activity that he does? It's like her only reason for living now is just being and enjoying the "perks" of being skrillex's new chic! What happened to her career and professionalism??

loooooool isn't that what you do being in a relationship with someone, being together? i think this question is really funny cause she can paint and sketch on the road she can do whatever she wants. i don't know. i think they're sweet together and they have been for a long time so i think it's solid. you can be a professional just the way she does, i think your arguments aren't that valid. they're just 2 artists following their own path but like, just sharing it and i think that's pretty cool. peace mate

yeah who knows! i think songs' meanings are what you make of it, so if this is your meaning for this song then that's cool! I'll need a little more time to give it my own meaning, if i do so (you can also give it no meaning at all lol).

Ok, they can be friends but I still don't believe in their love. Maybe I believe if you or someone else give me good arguments.

you don't have to believe in their love! i'm not forcing anybody to share my opinion or something. and believing in there love is such a vague thing anyways. i just think they were a fun couple that's all. how am i supposed to know if it was 'true love' or something. It's none of my bizz haha.

i don't really approve of Ellie trying to be a Dj either, because I don't know to me it seems to be just the same as Taylor Swift and all the other "DJs"... But I don't think that it is related to Sonny in any way. Why would it? This ain't highschool, dear anons :D

I'm glad to see that someone else feels like this shouldn't relate to sonny in any way just because he's a producer and was with ellie

what i don't like is that if you didn't start your carreer as a DJ or someone very close to the EDM community, and you want to start djing, people just bash you. no matter what. cause you know you can't do the 2 things you have to choose, you can't be THAT talented that you have a good singing voice and ALSO are good ad DJing or whatever it is you want to do for a change. it's just really mean of people to judge like that and i wish we/they/people wouldn't. X

The person who submitted the paragraph is making this a feminism issue, which it isn't. The reason people are bitter about Ellie is cuz she seems to do things only when they're popular, she's clearly trying to be famous and investing in the popularity of EDM (much like ppl who were named) it has nothing to do with her being a woman, so don't bring feminism into it, when it's not supposed to be. this is about her shamelessly jumping on every trend to try to stay relevant. which she does.

why should you shame her for doing so

if she wants to do the dj thing (which she's done when she wasn't so big years ago) then that's her choice and there's nothing shameful about it

there's nothing shameful about what she does and 'jumping on every trend' is just a way of saying that pop culture is wrong and ellie shouldn't be doing certain things according to some of her audience but do you really think it matters? 

do you think it's terrible and stupid of her to do things many vocal pop artists do? And why? cause other people do it? that's genuinely the reason these people are bitter about her? 

yes, she's changed in many ways. but she'll always be Ellie. and she'll always make her own choices no matter what the audience is implying. i feel like this is just as much of an issue as when she bleached her eyebrows or did the cornrows, really. 

she did something that wasn't pleasing to a certain audience. and how did she react? she didnt care. she went on.

 if you really really dislike her way of working and don't care much for her recent music, then why don't you just listen to something else instead of trying to make her look like a bad person over the internet? i'm sure it's not bringing you eternal happiness to do so. so what's the point? X

me criticizing ellie on DJing has nothing to do with her being a woman, the fact that i singled out two women doesn't have anything to do with their gender. many women are great djs (gina turner, tokimonsta, miss nine, nervo, krewella, etc), the reason i grouped ellie with paris and kim are cuz they jumped on EDM cuz its a trend, and so did ellie. and regardless of whether or not she had a place in EDM, no one can deny her association with skrill gave her career a massive boost, esp Stateside

+ Ellie said that the time before Halcyon was released was dark and now she is happy again that's why Halcyon Days is happier album. So you see, she was unhappy with Sonny. If she had fun that time it would be unbelievably saying "I was in darker place".

-she released halcyon when she was with sonny, it would be impossible for those songs to be about 

-ellie said halcyon was about her break-up with greg not about her time with sonny. it's quite hard still making this an argument when she stated this so very often. X
