âA lot of times I get frustrated because people will, without my consent, Photoshop my body and it doesnât look like my own body,â Lovato said. âLike, no no no, my thighs are bigger than that, can you put them back to the way they were? Iâve literally done that before where Iâm like, âNo, put my legs back on me. Those arenât my legs.â
âI think they do look to magazines,â Winslet said. âI think they do look to women who have been successful in their chosen careers and they want people to look up to, and I would always want to be telling the truth about who I am to that generation because theyâve got to have strong leaders. Weâre all responsible for raising strong young women, so these are things that are important to me.â
âI think itâs extra important right now to show a woman not wholly retouched,â she said. âItâs becoming the norm for people to have this butt thatâs been plucked and pulled, and these boobs from somewhere else,â she told Mashable. âItâs not normal. I think itâs our responsibility as women to show our flaws and how weâre far from perfect.â
