Much as I love soft “I love you”s and hand-holding, I think it’s far more likely that destiel becoming canon would start off with an argument.

Like, Dean’s angry because Cas doesn’t understand how much he means to him and Cas is just confused because he’s never thought himself worthy of Dean’s love and Dean just gets so mad that he grabs Cas’ face and kisses him and Cas makes this little shocked noise and Dean starts to pull back but then Cas grabs his wrists and pushes him against the wall (because he’s still an angel of the Lord dammit) and kisses the hell out of him and Dean just sort of melts and the kisses become softer and slower and Cas pulls away to just look at Dean because he can’t believe how lucky he is and Dean is still trying to work out if he’s dreaming because he never gets to have this, that’s not how it works, and they just hold each other for a long, still moment, taking every second they have because they both know the peace won’t last.

By now, most of you have seen the photo that Misha posted on Twitter of himself and J2 holding a pride flag from PhoenixCon. The flag was from this photo op @bookkbaby and I did as tribute to the Orlando shooting on June 12th, 2016.

On the flag, are the names of all the victims whose lives were taken that night. This was the op we went there to do. The version Misha posted was his idea and he requested to do a second shot to take it.

In this photo, Booky is holding the trans flag, Misha is holding the asexual flag, Jared is holding the pansexual flag, and Jensen is holding the bisexual flag.

Excuse all the watermarks, but after seeing Misha’s version get photoshopped, cropped, edited, and reposted to suit people’s agendas, I wanted to take caution.

I love the line “Dad’s on a hunting trip…and he hasn’t been home in a few days” just as much s anyone, but I think it’s funny because it’s conceit is that the Winchesters have an actual home for John to be absent from. It’s holdover from the original pilot script in which Dean discussed an actual house that he shared with John. But heck, maybe there was a place they were staying that counted as home, who knows. But, yeah, it’s an interesting iconic line from a guy who is essentially homeless.
