How long have you been in this fandom? 1-2 full years.

Which revival cast is your favorite? American-wise I’d definitely choose the 2009 revival with Will Swenson and Gavin Creel; but my most beloved is the 2025 Revival cast in Rio de Janeiro with Rodrigo Simas and Eduardo Borelli as Berger and Claude. 

Which revival cast is your LEAST favorite? The cast is not specific, but it’d be targeted at the universities that cut Colored Spades out entirely from act 1, and those groups that aren’t diverse enough to perform Hair.

How do you feel about the movie take on Hair? Why? The casting for the movie is amazing, and I would love to see don dacus more in anything really .. However I can see why James Rado spoke poorly about it. Claude being a regular guy and not a hippie defeats the purpose of Hair. Sure, he still struggled with his placing in society, but the movie just took ½ of his conflicts. Claude’s issues with his parents aren’t included, and he doesn't have any problem with cash. Uhhhh there was a part in Manchester England they cut from the movie but kept in their movies’ playlist where Claude spoke about dropping out of school. Which was never mentioned again.. Aaaaaaaaaaaand they made Hud seem like a woman beater. Other than those few things, it's cool. I enjoyed having to see Berger enlisted instead of Claude–It cures my ‘what if’ scenarios.

Who are your favourite characters? Depends on the revival, but my all time favorite is definitely Berger. He’s just a sexy dude in every cast Istg/

Who are your LEAST favourite characters? The movie's take on Steven (Franklin). I don't know why he and Sheila are related now.

(Optional) Which character is your kinnie? Like Claude, I struggle to find where I’m meant to be in life – but I still have a goal. I'm a dreamer, however in his words, “I fucking hate the world.” I also wish to be invisible and guide the people who deserve good treatment. I make false personas to escape who I am. 

Best song? Worst song? I wanna say the best songs are, and stating the version, Colored Spades (MOVIE), Manchester England (MUSICAL, Gavin Creel), I Believe in Love / Sheila Franklin (MUSICAL), Sodomy (MOVIE), Hashish (MOVIE), Going Down (MUSICAL, Will Swenson), Don’t Put It Down (MUSICAL, Will Swenson), and the cut song Exanaplanetooch. Hair has no worst songs in my opinion, but the weakest song has to be My Conviction. And there's no valid reason. I just can't seem to sit through that without my mind wondering when it'll be over.

How did you discover Hair? Which version? I discovered the 1979 Hair movie on a virus filled website while trying to learn more about hippies. The reason for learning was because I made an OC and I didn’t want to seem uneducated and stereotypical about their culture. When I first tuned into the movie, there was a song I heard before. Aquarius was my favourite song before I ever knew about Hair. I thought it was originally by the 5th dimensions, guess not. Once I finished the movie, 3 months later I found out about the musical version. I watched the 2009 revival. My first thought was “how come every Berger is so fucking hot?” and nothing else.

Will you watch it again? No (Yes).

Any hot takes or unpopular opinions? Yeah um even in my favourite american casts of hair, they erase the part where Berger speaks broken spanish. And I just feel like Berger speaking broken spanish or spanish at all is so fitting. So I watch the Spanish revivals a lot just to see a somewhat accurate Berger. 

Working on anything big for this small fandom? ya I'm thinking about posting fanfics and maybe some theories I made.. I'm still working on the band AU, I might post about how its going so far design speaking.

how do we feel about a hair au where they’re all just in a band together? The trick is the costumes being aggressively stereotypical (but not beyond my reach // mainly the types the musical interpreted already). It could be seen as a form of propaganda, which claude is trying to move away from — all while performing with his group. Not sure about who’s who, but I know berger is gonna be a soldier.

Woof Daschund

~☆ Woof lives up to his name, that becomes clear after a while of knowing him. He would lay in your lap practically begging for head scratches, and when he gets them? You’re not getting rid of him anytime soon. 

~☆ He’s not at all afraid of showing his affection in public, he’s an open man. He kisses you and hugs you when he wants and he doesn’t care who’s watching. Maybe it has to do with the fact that he just can’t keep his hands off you. 

~☆ He’s surprisingly a decent cook. If you guys actually would live together, he’d try to be all romantic, make you breakfast in bed, arrange dinner nights. And what he cooks is actually pretty good. 

~☆ He’s an unserious motherfucker. Your relationship wouldn’t be all proper and serious, for sure. He teases you constantly, taking every chance he can get to bicker and poke fun. That could sometimes lead to comments that are a little bit insensitive, but he truly means well, he just has a bad habit of saying things before he can think them over. 

~☆ Woof would absolutely show you off. You get together? The tribe would know immediately. Of course they do, because why would Woof not tell them? He thinks you’re the prettiest and most amazing person in the world, he has every right to brag.

~☆ Jeanie is quick to fall in love, so she falls first, and falls hard. And she wouldn’t be subtle about it either. If she has feelings towards someone, she will express it, what’s the point in hiding it? 

~☆ She is very affectionate, almost absent mindedly so. Her hand is going to be in your hair, on your back, just comfortingly touching you. 

~☆ She constantly tells you she loves you, like it’s a comma in a sentence. 

~☆ She is a romantic. She’d love to have all the cheesy cliché dates with you. Watching stars with you, going to the cinema to watch the cheesiest, dumbest romantic comedy, all that jazz. 

~☆ She’d like to settle down, eventually, maybe even get married if it’s possible. She’s one of the most stable people in the tribe, in that way.  

~☆ She isn’t very jealous, i mean, she was in a polycule, what did you expect? She knows you love her, so why be jealous? 

~☆ She tends to forget little details about you. If you haven’t mentioned something you like enough, it will slip her mind. It’s not that she doesn’t care, she’s just an airhead a little bit, but a lovable one.
