Taking some paper towel to remove extra ink!
Fixing places before pulling finals
I wish this time lapse didn’t show so much of my working face, I look so angry! This was me doing a quick super watery test print on scrap paper to see what needed fixing in my OG terra flora
Couple views of my Orihon back and front covers. No perfect by any means but feels like leaps to even know how to do. It’s the end! And we are grinding!!
Trying to set something up in my living room to do more timelapses is proving difficult, gonna print this bad boy fishy tonight.
Small time lapse of carving out larger blocks in my terra flora block, I get messy and a lil ambitious
Feeling behind and super anxious for the few final weeks, lotsa do.
Started over with my idea with the terra flora project, I’ve decided I want to look into the decaying factors of a fish. My original print will be an alive depiction. Here’s some of my on-desk mess. Started by clearing out the larger areas.
Huge struggles of in-room quarantine, and a house break-in. While my room has become my safest space, it’s also a studio nightmare, I almost want to draw lines with tape to depict each classes work all over the floor.
Worked on creating shapes with Washi Paper! Only a circle was made with this run through. Hoping to mix charcoal with the Washi for the next layer.
A lil view of the living room work space. My roommates usually use this as a beer pong table, but its been resurrected.
spent most of my evening doing some printing in my living room, this is 3/4 of colors. Finding adding white to my pigment gives a brighter effect to the prints. here's to living room printing
A roughly 30 minute time-lapse of me and the ladies making some Washi paper. We had someone mixing berries into their pulp, and had a couple of us doing experimental shapes!
Test prints of my first Moku-Hanga
