Soooo... Now that it's clear we weren't going to get any relationship development with Rovickie, can I finally talk about how their relationship was the only one sexualized?

Don't get me wrong, this is not me being a Puritan and saying it's wrong to show sexual attraction from queer characters, or any characters actually. What I mean is this:

1. We didn't see them get together. We barely saw them sharing screentime. And we got an implied breakup at the end because apparently queer love isn't as pure and genuine as straight love, I guess?

2. One of the very few scenes we have of them together, is the one where Robin says she wants to see Vickie wearing her candy striper hat... And only the hat.

Now, that scene in a vacuum is completely fine. The problem for me is that I just can't remember any of the other couples making sexual comments that directly at all? Maybe Stancy season 1, because I don't remember that much. But I don't think so.

It just feels "interesting" to me that the ONLY queer couple we have (since those cowards didn't make byler canon) is the one where it's clear they're banging.

It gives me the same vibes as when homophobes complain about sexualizing kids by showing them queer love exists, because to them being queer is inherently only sexual, unlike straight love which is pure and beautiful.

Again, I want to make VERY CLEAR my problem isn't with making clear Robin and Vickie are having sex. My problem is with that in the context of how differently the show seems to treat them, compared to other couples.
