Summary: How are you supposed to get a guy who hates coffee into a cafe? I don't know.
Wooyoung, probably.
Hongjoong needs caffeine to survive. Seonghwa needs a physics tutor to pass his class. Both of them slowly start finding out they don't have to handle everything alone.
But even the strongest structures start to crack.
Chapter 1: The Initial Conditions of a Stress Concentration
âYouâre gonna end up in a hospital bed if you keep drinking that crap.â
Walking out of their apartment, Hongjoong craved his fruity energy drink and a quiet morning walk to a hellish 8 a.m. Mechanical Statics lecture.
Wooyoung had other plans.
âPeople literally get heart attacks from drinking those, you know,â Wooyoung commented as the cool September air hit both their faces. Hongjoong adored the little college town he was in, but only a few minutes on the cracked, uneven pavement drained his energy.
âItâs just to help me get enough energy to pay attention to lecture,â Hongjoong sighed out as he messed with his beanie. âYou know I was up all night working.â
âThatâs only valid if it isnât every night this semester,â Wooyoung replied, purposely slowing his pace to match Hongjoongâs lagging strides. âJongho and I can hear you crashing out while weâre gaming at like 4 a.m.â
A dull pounding throbbed in his head either from Wooyoungâs nagging or the energy drink he was pestering him about. It didnât help that his General Education professor assigned a group project with a senior-level workload for a 100-level Intro to Shakespeare Course.
Luckily for Hongjoong, his team members didnât open the files he sent until 3 a.m. this morning. Clearly, celebrating Thirsty Thursday mattered more than a graduation requirement.
All of a sudden, the cold press of his can disappeared. Wooyoung had sprinted over to the nearest trash can to dispose of it, and Hongjoong barely got enough energy to turn toward him.
The can hit the bottom with a loud thunk.
âI wasnât even halfway done with that,â Hongjoong winced as the sound reverberated in all the wrong parts of his skull.
âDrink a coffee or something,â Wooyoung snarkily retorted while wiping his wet hand on his thigh. âThis isnât healthy, Hongjoong.â
âCoffee tastes like shit.â
Hongjoong glared at Wooyoung for a beat before he shifted his gaze to the trees and buildings lining their path.
After a few silent steps, Hongjoong gave in to his guilt and dragged his eyes back to Wooyoung. He knew Wooyoung was only trying to look out for him.
âWell then, buy me a coffee before lecture,â Wooyoung pouted while shoving his extremely bright phone in Hongjoongâs face. âYou owe me for keeping you humble, and we still have half an hour until our lectures start. Plus, thereâs a cafe two minutes from here.â
He always found it difficult to say no to Wooyoung.
âAlright, fine. Letâs go,â Hongjoong relented, shoving his hands into his jacket pocket.
A satisfied Wooyoung hooked his arm through Hongjoongâs elbow and dragged him towards the cafe.
~
September arrived, and midterm season came with it, so Seonghwa couldnât shake the growing pit in his stomach. His professor returned their Physics 2 exams yesterday, and he had absolutely bombed it.
Normally, his current study methods always produced flawless results, but Electricity and Magnetism just. wouldnât. stick. Half the time he swore the professor created random words to sound smarter. Seonghwaâs neat, meaningless handwriting started to blur until the cafe entrance bell abruptly chimed from the front.
The already wrinkled papers crumpled further as he shoved them into the depths of his backpack and moved to help San work the front.
The scent of coffee beans filled the air around him as he entered the kitchen/coffee bar area. At first, spending hours at the cafe left his head pounding from the strong smell and the grating sounds, but each passing day made him grow unexpectedly fond of the cafeâs quirks.
But on days like this, the sight of the line so long it doubled back several times left him a bit more disheartened. Seonghwa quickly tied his apron into a makeshift knot and started making the orders San entered.
The interior of the cafe mirrored the chaos of exam season. Students crammed into the tiny tables to the right of the entrance. Their laptops and papers lay scattered across the surfaces, allowing only slivers of the wood underneath to peek through. Even the quiet indie music playing in the background was being drowned out by the voices of the customers waiting by the windowed walls in front of the pick up section on the short end of the L-shaped counter.
Seonghwa allowed himself to mindlessly complete the steady stream of orders flowing in until he reached the final order of the morning rush, which had the two most abysmal drinks he had ever seen.
The add-on list for the first drink was so long, San needed to tape the extra instructions on a note instead of just writing the ingredients on the cup. It was a latte with almost every single sugar modification available: extra sugar, a pump of vanilla, a pump of mocha, chocolate syrup, caramel drizzle, cocoa powder, and extra whipped cream, among other things.
The next was a triple-shot red-eye.
Seonghwa fought to keep his jaw from dropping.
Holy shit.
If someone forced him to choose between both orders, it would be equivalent to asking if he wanted to go to hell or super hell.
He tried to be subtle as he peeked over the counter.
The two remaining customers at least made it easy to match the order to the person. One was practically bouncing off the walls as he spoke in a hurried manner to the other who looked like he was fighting the urge to pass out from exhaustion.
Nevertheless, Seonghwa did his job and prepped both orders with a little help from San now that the line died down.
âTriple shot red-eye for⊠Hanseong?â Seonghwa shouted across the small cafe, trying to decipher what San had written on the side of the cup. He loved the man, but he thought the cafe would be better off if their manager switched their jobs.
He glanced around to see if he could spot any heads turning in recognition of the order but was ultimately met with silence.
âHanseong?â He shouted again.
âDude, I think thatâs you,â he heard a loud voice comment from the crowd squished in front of the coffee bar counter.
âNo way. Iâm sure itâs someone elseâs order.â Another voice grumbled.
âHongjoong, I donât think I know a single other person who orders that much caffeine at 7 in the fucking morning.â
A groan rippled through the crowd.
âI shouldâve just used my English name.â
A high-pitched laugh bounced off the walls of the cafe.
âNo way,â the voice interrupted. âThat wouldâve been more embarrassing.â
Seonghwa finally spotted the owners of the two voices as they shoved their way through the students to the pickup counter.
Hongjoong, he assumed, cleared his throat with an embarrassed blush on his cheeks as he glared at his friend.
âMy name is cool. What are you talking about?â
âHanseong?â Seonghwa politely interjected as the two bickered in front of him.
âHongjoong,â the tired man finally corrected with an exhausted smirk.
Seonghwa pretended he wasnât eavesdropping on their conversation and responded in his best customer service voice, âOh, Iâm sorry about the mistake. Please enjoy your coffee.â
âAh, thank you,â Hongjoong replied shyly, taking the coffee.
Seonghwa turned to start prepping for the next influx of customers before the friend stopped him and asked, âHey, who was the hot guy taking orders?â
Behind him, the ice scooper San was using clattered around the central island several times as it knocked one of the syrups over.
âExcuse me?â Seonghwa said, trying not to crack up in the middle of the coffee bar.
âYeah, the cute guy with the short black hair and the pretty eyes,â he continued, emphasizing his words with his hands.
Seonghwa didnât have a chance to reply because San gently shoved past him.
âHi, Breve Latte for Wooyeol?â San interjected. Wooyoung definitely piqued Sanâs interest with the way the latter practically fell over himself to meet him, and Wooyoung gladly played along. He placed both of his hands on the counter for leverage and leaned forward next to Sanâs ear.
âWooyoung, actually,â he whispered with a tilt of his head.
San turned a bright shade of red, and jumped backwards, fumbling to prevent the drink from spilling. He covered his ear with his free hand. âAh, Iâm sorry about that.â
Wooyoung looked like he was having the time of his life as he returned to his side of the counter. While he grabbed his drink from Sanâs hand, Wooyoung brushed his fingers over Sanâs and said, âDonât worry, you can make it up to me by giving me your number.â
He dropped his eyes to Sanâs name tag.
âSan,â Wooyoung completed with a wink, leaving San a blushing mess trying to keep himself together.
âY-yeah, yeah. Of course,â San rambled. He led Wooyoung to the cash register on the far side of the L-shaped coffee-bar counter to scramble for the pen he had been using.
As their voices faded away, Seonghwa began to wipe down the espresso machine when he noticed Hongjoong nervously standing in front of the counter.
Hongjoong must have taken Seonghwaâs glance over to him as an ok to talk to him because he apologized as soon as they made eye contact.
âIâm sorry about Wooyoung. I know he can be a lot sometimes.â
âNo, itâs okay,â Seonghwa reassured him, âThat gave me a good laugh, and Iâm sure San is happy about it too.â
Seonghwa turned to look at them both and he couldnât help but smile at Wooyoungâs shenanigans that left San perpetually blushing. San messily scrawled his number onto the side of Wooyoungâs cup while the other radiated joy in waves, occasionally forgetting personal space boundaries and flustering poor San even further.
âI feel like we might be seeing each other again soon, so I want to properly introduce myself,â Hongjoong began, âIâm Hongjoong.â
Seonghwa focused his attention back on Hongjoong and gave him a puzzled look. âNice to meet you, Hongjoong. Iâm Seonghwa, but why do you say that?â
âKnowing Wooyoung, heâll probably get Sanâs schedule and find a way to have us drop by as often as possible.â Hongjoong admitted with a light laugh. âWhen Wooyoung wants something, he usually gets it.â
~
Wooyoung excitedly skipped down the sidewalk with his sugary concoction in hand. On the side of the cup, you could see where San wrote down his number, and Wooyoung wouldnât stop gushing about how cute the other boy was.
âHongjoong, you donât understand. All of his reactions were adorable! I think he even flirted back at one point,â Wooyoung rambled on next to Hongjoong.
After a brief pause, he gave Hongjoong a sideways glance. âDonât think I didn't notice you earlier though.â
âWhat?â Hongjoong asked, taken aback by his friendâs comment.
A cat-like grin spread over Wooyoungâs face.
âYou and that other barista.â
âSeonghwa?â Hongjoong replied.
âSo you know his name?â Wooyoung said as his eyes widened with excitement.
âIt was pinned to his apron,â Hongjoong retorted with a scoff.
Wooyoung stared Hongjoong down as if he knew the latter was hiding something. Hongjoong shifted uncomfortably before admitting, âFine! We introduced ourselves to each other.â
Wooyoung let out an excited yell. âI knew it! I saw you two talking while San was writing his number. I canât really read it, but thatâs not the point.â
Wooyoung regained his train of thought and smacked his shoulder. âSo how did that happen?â
Hongjoong cleared his throat. âWell, I figured weâd be going to the cafe more often so we might as well get to know each other already.â
âRiiight,â Wooyoung commented with a smug expression. âAnd whyâs that?â
âWell, you obviously,â Hongjoong answered with a deadpan expression.
Wooyoungâs jaw dropped. He hit Hongjoong again.
âAsshole! That was all you!â Wooyoung yelled in offense.
âOw! Stop! Are you seriously telling me you werenât gonna visit San as soon as you possibly could?â Hongjoong questioned with raised eyebrows.
Wooyoung stopped and looked over at Hongjoong.
âActually, youâre right, but that was so self-serving, you jerk,â Wooyoung said with a whine.
âIâm sorry for using you as an excuse, Wooyoung,â Hongjoong apologized.
âApology accepted, but you still owe me. Maybe you should buy me a pastry after class?â Wooyoung mused with a smile on his face.
âThat soon?â Hongjoong asked with an incredulous look.
âSan said he would still be clocked in.â Wooyoung responded with a cocky grin.
~
Hongjoong felt it was entirely too soon to show back up again, but Wooyoung had a long list of reasons as to why they had to go.
âFirst of all, as cute as San was, it's not very cute to find out I texted the wrong person because I couldnât figure out what numbers he wrote on the side of the cup. I swear I texted like four different people before I just gave up and decided to just ask him.â Wooyoung immediately argued as Hongjoong forced down a few gulps of the now stale coffee.
He only drank the coffee because his Statics professor had the most soothing voice for an 8 a.m. lecture and she loved to dim the lights so they could see the projected lecture slides. Not to mention, Wooyoung had thrown away his preferred choice of caffeine intake.
Wooyoung then grabbed Hongjoongâs arms and shook him back into reality.
âHello? Earth to Hongjoong? At this rate, I think you should just crash in the cafe.â
Hongjoong brushed him off.
âIâll be fine.â
âYeah, right, I give you ten minutes tops. Actually fifteen if that other baristaâs still there.â
Hongjoong weakly shoved Wooyoung back for once.
~
Hongjoongâs only plans for his Friday involved meeting with his Materials Science study group after their collective lecture at the library and going to sleep, but of course, nothing ever goes to plan for Hongjoong.
âAre you guys free tonight?â Mingi asked the group with bright eyes.
Yunho, Yeosang, and Hongjoong all looked at each other in confusion.
âYeah, why?â Yeosang asked bluntly.
Mingi clapped his hands together. âIâm glad you asked,â Mingi said, as his excitement rolled off him in waves. âIâm throwing my first party of the semester. 10 p.m. Donât miss it.â
âAre you sure thatâs a good idea with midterms and everything?â Yunho asked with a cautious tone.
âThatâs exactly why itâs happening today! It gives everyone a break before exams begin,â Mingi clarified with a tone that suggested his reasoning was obviously flawless.
âAnd why did you wait until 6 p.m. to tell us, Mingi?â Hongjoong inquired, but he was sure he already knew why.
âBecause I decided to throw it while I was bored during our Statics lecture,â Mingi answered with a shrug.
âRight,â Hongjoong responded with an exhausted nod.
âAnyways, you guys are coming right?â Mingi asked in an expectant tone.
They all looked to one another before Yunho replied, âYeah, I can go.â
Mingi jumped out of his seat to wrap an arm around Yunho.
âNice, man!â he exclaimed. âWhat about you guys?â
Mingiâs eyes were sparkling with joy at this point, and Hongjoong couldnâtt bring himself to ruin that. Reluctantly, Hongjoong added, âYeah, me too.â
âYeosang?â Mingi turned to look at the final group mate with pleading eyes.
Yeosang shifted to look at Hongjoong. âAre you gonna bring Wooyoung?â
âWooyoung wouldnât give me a choice,â Hongjoong easily responded.
âYeah, Iâll go,â Yeosang concluded with a nod.
âThree for three. Letâs go!â Mingi shouted with a fist pump.
âQUIET!â a voice yelled from the depths of the library.
Mingi caved in on himself and grimaced.
âOh shit, my bad,â he whispered as he sat back down.
~
As soon as Wooyoung heard Mingi was throwing a party, all his previous Friday night plans were tossed out the proverbial window. If there was one thing Mingi knew how to do better than any of them, it was throwing a party. Even if it was âsame dayâ last minute, Hongjoong was sure the place was still going to be packed.
âYou sure you wanna go, hyung?â Wooyoung asked as they were both styling their hair in front of their shared bathroom mirror.
âYeah, itâs Mingiâs party. How could I not?â Hongjoong stated.
âI donât know? Maybe because youâve been on the verge of passing out all day?â Wooyoung pointed out, moving his attention from the stray strands of hair he was fixing to Hongjoong.
âIâll be fine, Woo,â the latter assured, not moving his gaze from the mirror.
Wooyoung would never understand. The only times Hongjoong saw him stay up past two were to go to a party or play Super Smash Bros in the living room with their other roommate. He never had to sacrifice his sanity just to turn in an assignment.
Wooyoung placed a firm hand on the olderâs shoulder. With a sigh, he began, âHongjoong, Iâm getting worried about you.â
Hongjoong met Wooyoungâs eyes in the mirror and finally stilled his hands in his hair. He knew what this was, and heâd be damned if he let Wooyoung continue to believe Hongjoong couldnât take care of himself.
âI keep seeing you in a perpetual state of exhaustion, and I donât know what to do about it.â
âWooyoung, Iââ Hongjoong turned to face the other, but Wooyoung cut him off before he could defend himself.
âNo more of this self-sacrificial bullshit, Hongjoong. I guarantee you, your grades will be fine if you figure out how to handle your shit.â
Wooyoung jabbed his other finger roughly into Hongjoongâs chest.
Hongjoong flicked his gaze away as he roughly shut the toiletries drawer. The violent rattle of the bottles and the sharp slam of the drawer made him wince in regret.
âThis works, Wooyoung. Itâs only two years and itâll be over,â Hongjoong responded, throwing the words over his shoulder as he pushed past him out of the bathroom.
For three years they had been living together, and for three years Hongjoong had been the responsible one. Wooyoung coming in and suddenly pretending he knew what was best for him thoroughly pissed him off.
âNo! It doesnât!â Wooyoung yelled with a sardonic laugh as he stormed out behind Hongjoong. âThatâs the point, Hongjoong, forcing your eyes open with caffeine every single fucking day is going to kill you!â
Hongjoong abruptly spun back to face Wooyoung, his voice shattering any peace left in their apartment, âEnough, Wooyoung! I donât need your fucking opinion! Iâm fine!â
Wooyoung took a wary step back at Hongjoongâs outburst. His eyes were filled with hurt and he let out a humorless laugh.
âWow.â
Hongjoong immediately moved to try and fix his mistake.
âWooyoung, Iâm sorry. I justââ Hongjoong began with guilt laced into his voice.
âNo. Forget it.â
Wooyoung paced to his room while ignoring all of Hongjoongâs words. Hongjoong looked away as he silently crammed the last of his stuff into a backpack.
âWooyoung, please. I thinkâ,â Hongjoong pleaded, but Wooyoung shouldered past him with his bag already slung around his back.
As Wooyoung grabbed a jacket from the entrance rack, he turned to Hongjoong and seethed, âYouâre lucky Jongho wasnât here to see you act like a dick.â
Hongjoong couldnât react before he slammed the door behind him. The sound rang out in their empty apartment for several heavy moments after Wooyoung exited. His feet stayed glued to the ground where he stood and the light throbbing in his head returned.
Once Hongjoong found the energy and will to move, he collapsed onto their couch. He buried his head in his hands and let himself replay their conversation in his mind.
âShit.â
~
Mingiâs parties tended to be just as loud as he was. Extremely. Hongjoong was lucky enough that Yunho offered him and Yeosang a ride to the party after their study session. Yeosang declined since he lived just close enough to Mingi to walk over, but Hongjoong gladly took the otherâs offer.
By the time they both arrived, the party was already flooding through the front door. You could feel the heavy bass pounding through the ground from the speakers a block away, and several colorful lights illuminated the front of the house. As the two stepped into the crowd at the entrance to Mingiâs house, they immediately spotted Mingi having the time of his life on the makeshift stage he made in front of the stairs through the open front door. Yunho and Hongjoong had to shove their way into the mess of rowdy college students to get to Mingiâs turntable, avoiding elbows and drinks being flung left and right.
âYo! Guys, Iâm sooo glad you made it,â Mingi slurred with a drink in his hand. He stumbled off the stage to join Hongjoong and Yunho. The bass from the speakers physically thrummed through Hongjoong as he and Yunho caught a clearly drunk Mingi.
âYou doing alright, man?â Hongjoong yelled over the blaring next to them.
âWhat?!â Mingi shouted in his ear as he draped himself over the two.
It was obvious Mingi was too far gone. Yunho gave Hongjoong a serious stare before he yelled into Mingiâs ear, âDude! Do you wanna take a shot with us?â
Mingi quickly straightened up.
âFuck yeah!â Mingi beamed at them.
They stumbled along with Mingi into the kitchen where they dropped him off on one of the stools. Yunho continued to support Mingi on the stool while Hongjoong moved to the other side of the kitchen counter.
Mingi started giggling uncontrollably on the stool, and Yunho tried his best to keep the otherâs balance.
âHongjoong! Hit me!â Mingi yelled, shoving an empty red solo cup forward. Hongjoong sneakily filled all three of their cups with water and set them on the counter.
Mingi excitedly reached for his cup and gulped down the entire thing in one go. He dramatically sighed and wiped his mouth before slamming his cup back on the table.
âGive me another!â
Hongjoong and Yunho kept playing into Mingiâs drunken shenanigans while slowly sobering him up. Suddenly, Mingi tried to lay his head down on the counter to try and sleep, but both of his friends clamored to catch him before his head hit the surface.
âAlright! Time for bed, big guy,â Yunho strained as he caught Mingi mid-fall.
Somehow the two of them managed to maneuver Mingi into his bedroom and put him to bed. Hongjoong sighed out and crashed onto the bed as soon as Mingi was safely asleep.
âHeâs heavier than I remember,â Yunho commented as he watched over Mingiâs sleeping frame. Mingiâs chest was slowly rising and falling despite the pounding music still flowing in from downstairs.
âI can watch over him. Try and enjoy the rest of the party,â Yunho told Hongjoong.
âAre you sure? I donât want to just leave you,â Hongjoong relented.
âNo, go, I know you need a break,â Yunho insisted.
âSo do you, Yunho,â Hongjoong challenged.
âYeah, but not as much as you, Captain,â Yunho playfully added. Hongjoong got embarrassed by the sudden nickname. The group came up with it during a group assignment a few semesters ago where Hongjoong had been assigned as team leader and it sort of justâŠstuck.
âAlright, stay safe. Iâll be back to check up on you guys later.â
Yunho shooed Hongjoong back into the party and closed the door behind him.
Left alone in front of the door, Hongjoong had no idea where to go, so he just let himself wander. He bumped into a few friendly faces as he made his way down the stairs and traversed through the crowd. He spotted Wooyoung happily dancing with Yeosang and considered heading over to apologize, but he figured he would let the other keep dancing blissfully.
Eventually, Hongjoong made his way to the backyard where the music was a bit softer and the clear night air allowed his muddled mind to clear a bit. It wasnât a big, open space, just a few measly feet of grass in front of him with a tall fence blocking out the outside world, but it was enough to bring him peace in that moment.
âRough night?â He hears a quiet voice call out next to him. The space was small enough where they could speak normally and still be heard over the music.
He glanced down to see Seonghwa sat with his knee pulled into his chest and a red solo cup in his hand.
âYeah, a bit,â Hongjoong admitted as he took a step toward the other and sat down next to him.
âWhat are you doing out here?â Seonghwa asked, his words slightly slurred now that Hongjoong could hear him more clearly.
âI just felt a bit overstimulated by all the chaos going on inside. You?â
âSame,â Seonghwa exhaled while throwing his head back carelessly.
âYou wanna talk about it?â Seonghwa asked as he turned his face toward Hongjoong.
âNot really. Do you?â Hongjoong replied.
âYeah,â Seonghwa quickly responded. He adjusted himself to face Hongjoong and began rambling.
âIâve been sooo stressed out recently because of this stupid Physics exam I had last week. I mean, normally, I wouldnât be worried because I would just lock myself in the library and study my ass off, but this time I didnât get it.â
Hongjoong thought the other was so endearing while he was rambling. He let out a laugh at the otherâs spiel, but Seonghwa suddenly smacked both of his hands down in the small space in between the two of them.
âNo! Iâm serious!â Seonghwa cried out.
âI bet you he doesnât even know half the words heâs saying either,â Seonghwa added as he leaned forward, crowding into Hongjoongâs face. He dropped his forehead onto Hongjoongâs shoulder.
âI fucking failed and now my Physics grade is fucked. What am I supposed to dooo?â Seonghwa muttered.
Hongjoong, thoroughly flustered by this point, somehow stumbled out, âI could help you?â
âYou donât even know what class it is,â Seonghwa pouted as he shifted back to his original position.
âWell, what class is it?â Hongjoong asked.
âElectricity and Magnetism,â Seonghwa said with an edge in his voice.
Hongjoong stifled a laugh before mentioning, âI actually took that class last semester.â
Seonghwaâs eyes widened as he turned sharply towards Hongjoong.
âSeriously?â He asked in disbelief.
âSeriously,â Hongjoong affirmed. âI got an A in it.â
Seonghwa fully stood at this point.
âNo way.â
âYeah, I can show you the grade on my transcript if you want proof.â Hongjoong reaffirmed as he got up to join the other.
âAnd you mean it? Youâll seriously help me?â Seonghwa questioned him worriedly. âThe exam is next Friday.â
âI offered my help, and I meant it. I can give you my number so you can text me so we can set up a time,â Hongjoong insisted as he held out his phone to Seonghwa.
âHoly shit, youâre a life saver,â Seonghwa sighed gratefully as he grabbed Hongjoongâs phone.
Hongjoong couldnât help but notice the slight flush of the alcohol left on Seonghwaâs cheeks as he typed in his number into Hongjoongâs phone. He finally looked away when it seemed Seonghwa was finishing up.
âHere let me get yourââ Seonghwa asked as he got cut off by a knock at the window. The two turned their attention to the loud pounding and saw a disheveled San fumble with the handle. When he finally managed to open the door, he stumbled a few steps forward onto the porch.
Breathlessly, San said, âCome on, Seonghwa. We gotta go.â
âDid something happen?â Seonghwa asked with a worried tone.
âUh, no!â San exclaimed.
âIâm fine,â he said again awkwardly after he somewhat regained his composure.
Seonghwa glanced at Hongjoong as San reached for his hand.
âText me tomorrow!â He exclaimed as San pulled him back into the throes of the party, leaving Hongjoong alone on the small, empty porch in Mingiâs backyard.
