Time to leave

Already at the Melbourne airport. The time passed by so quickly its really unbelievable. I feel as though I was just arriving and that this experience has yet to happen. It was a difficult journey but I'm so happy that I did it! I've met the most wonderful people, people that I am never going to forget, and that I've learned so much from. I don't feel life changed but my perspectives have widened and Ive been introduced to so many different opinions and lifestyles. My view of the world has been expanded and it really does make you realize how much more there is to the world than America and our little back home troubles. I'm seriously going to miss this place, but I'm also very excited to go back home to family, friends, and the boyfriend!

Christmas in Melbourne Australia! Its so strange to be celebrating the winter holidays while wearing shorts!

Just some food stands lining the streets of Melbourne! Chicken satay skewers, fried octopus ball skewers, and $2-$2.75 for huge sushi rolls (really wish I liked sushi)

Not quite sure if I'm going to miss Australian public transportation ...its been wonderful and the trains are extremely efficient (buses are a whole nother story) but I'm gonna be so happy to return to using cars!

One last amazing breakfast with my Scottish and German friends! I'm gonna miss them so much, but at least we got to be fat together one last time! I wish them the best and safest time in New Zealand <3

My second visit to the Melbourne Museum!! This place is so big that it took me two visits to see the whole thing there were dinosaurs, bugs, rocks, marine life, WWI Australian history, aboriginal history, mind and body exhibits and much more

Was here four months ago during the middle of winter and now that spring has sprung the Carlton Gardens are way more beautiful! Glad I have this time to explore this part of the city center

Latin and Hispanic cultural fair 2014! Haven't felt so at home in a long time with carne asada, tamales, churros, and elote! All the summer time festivals make Melbourne the most upbeat city

First concert in a long time! Just a few bucks and we got to go to the opening performance at Melbourne Music Week 2014! I haven't listened to Indie music in a long long time but these bands might bring it back into my life! The performances were amazing and ill be going to their free concerts throughout these next two weeks! If only the venue wasn't filled with drunk and sloppy 40 year olds ...

Trivia night and a night out on the town! Even tho we showed up late to trivia we took third place! And half the questions were about Australia -___- I'm so glad to be spending my summer vacation with these awesome peeps! Thanks for keeping me busy and entertained during this break and for always being down to have a safe and fun time!
