Sabrina grew up in the typical white picket fence household with both of her parents. Except her picket fence was an old rusted metal one and it wasn’t just her and her parents, she had eight other siblings. It wasn’t easy being overshadowed by her older and younger siblings but she knew it was just part of being in a big family. Her parents tried their hardest to give each of them the attention they needed but it was almost impossible most days or so it seemed. At a young age she never understood that, she figured they could make the time for her. Between working, her siblings, and other everyday things they had to deal with they couldn’t make time on any given day. At times throughout the year they would try to spend at least one of their relaxation days with each kid but even that was difficult at times.
As she got older she realized she loved her parents and family more than anything and would always remember they tried their hardest. Even if she didn’t always feel loved she knew she was, that it was never worth it to get angry over things out of her control. She took on a new view of life, one a lot more optimistic than she had before. When she got the chance she would show her parents how much she cared for them by doing little things for them. She did her chores without too much complaining, did her homework on time or at least as on time as she could be, tried not to fight with her siblings too much, and kept from getting upset at them when they forgot something important to her. It was never easy of course as she wasn’t perfect but she got so much better at it as the years went by.
In high school she met the love of her life, her soul mate as they called each other. Well at least she thought she had as most teenagers seem to of their high school sweethearts. They had known each other their whole lives so it wasn’t really meeting so much as it was finally seeing each other. They started to spend every waking moment together as much as possible, even when they became too busy. Friends would often joke about how sick they made them but the two of them never really cared. They were sadly one of those couples who didn’t seem to be able to breathe without the other. Soon enough or what felt like too soon for her, their senior year of high school came. Which meant they would be going off to college soon and they would have to figure out what to do when it came to their relationship. Not only did all of that happen but she found out she was pregnant also. After weeks of crying she couldn’t take it anymore and left right after graduation. She took an internship in the city, had her son in some random hospital were she didn’t know anybody and never looked back again.
She knew it was wrong to live without telling him but felt at the time that it was for the best. Instead of giving the baby up she decided to keep him, naming him Tristan and continuing on to school. She refused not to get an education, so she went for business management, as it had always been a dream of her’s to one day own her own business. She ended up in Eureka, five years ago, wanting to start fresh and open up her own bookstore there.
Sabrina had always been one of those people that even on her worst days could crack a smile. She would try her best to let other people know she was okay or make sure that they were okay first. She knew what she wanted from a young age and knew how to go for it. She never liked backing down from a challenge and felt it was great to always have something new to get past. As put together as she could seem she also would become moody at times for no apparent reason. Often not thinking too straight when she was upset or someone had made her angry. She could sometimes become too hurt when someone said something to her, even if she hid it well. Which made her obsessive over things at times, when it came to work, or why someone would do a certain thing to her. It made it hard for her to actually move past anything.
