Besides it could be good to look polished for an audition I have tomorrow,” she added, looking at her own nails before looking back up at Sabrina. “We can go for ice cream and movies right after this?”

“So I’m a cheap date?” Sabrina teased the other, “But you’re right, though I think I’ll be more distracted by the shimmer when trying to write tomorrow- but at least one of us will be out in the world killing it.” She smiled, before giving a silent cheer when the other mentioned they could go for ice cream. “So- what role are you auditioning for this time?”

Ainsley’s eyes widened briefly, “Come again?” She moved back to the book to have a look for herself and it seemed like Sabrina was correct. “I’m not sure. I’ve ne’er been a bakin’ genius. Should… should we take them out of the oven and start o’er?”

“Normally I’m pretty good at this- but I’m pretty tired and I mustn’t have been paying close attention.” She commented, listening to the other and weighing their options before moving to the oven to look at the cookies, “I mean- they look and small alright, maybe it’ll be fine. We could just- wait and see?”

“Wait-...” Sabrina commented, hands covered in dough and flour as she moved back over to the cookery book, brows furrowed in concentration. “I don’t want to alarm you- but I’m pretty sure that last ingredient wasn’t supposed to be an ingredient at all in this.” She spoke, looking to the other with a slightly worried face, “Do you think it’ll make much of a difference?”

“So run through this with me again, how does paying ridiculous amounts of money to have our hair curled and nails painted make us feel better?” Sabrina asked the other as she examined both of these things. “I mean, don’t get me wrong- I like how they’re now covered in glitter-” She commented, referencing the pink shimmer on her fingernails. “But a pint of Ben and Jerry’s and rom-com would have given me the same satisfaction and cost me a whole lot less.”

“I realise that was an exaggeration on ma part, but I’m glad I didn’t hit ye regardless,” she was quick to admit fault, nodding in agreement with the blonde. “Are ye okay though? That was quite the noise. Took me by surprise.”

“Well I’m glad you didn’t hit me too, I have things to do, people to see- sitting in the hospital attending to a hole in my body was not the way I wanted to spend the day.” She told the other, nodding her head. “I’m fine- the shriek is just common, I think I get it from my Mom, she’s pretty high pitched too.”

melody was nothing if not ambitious, but she always knew that striving for greatness meant a lot of hard work. so, that being said, she’d always been known to study like she’s running out of time. for that very reason, she couldn’t help but feel a tinge of annoyance when she realised that someone was clearly vying for her attention. “do you need something?” she asks.

“Sorry- I was sat here like what, forty five minutes ago. And I can’t find my purse, or my glasses... thought I might have left them here and didn’t want to disturb you. But now I’ve just realised I’ve probably came across as quite creepy, sorry.”

regina had spent every day since seeing her mother with flu like symptoms. at this point, she was cold, tired, and hungry. but her body wouldn’t get warm, she couldn’t sleep no matter how hard she tried, and nothing she put in her system stayed down. she was too weak to be mean, and that was saying something. someone had been talking her ear off but regina was only half listening. “if i say yes, will you go away?”

“Well it really wasn’t a yes or no question...” Sabrina commented, her brows furrowed as she looked at the other, “Were you even listening?” She asked, noting the rather distracted look on the others face. “And are you okay- you look a little, well.. pale.”

Drawing her bow back, Ainsley kept her breath steady and her eyes on the bullseye. The redhead was ready to release when a sudden noise caught her attention and the arrow was released prematurely. Just missing the bullseye, Ainsley glared slightly at the distraction, “Nobody ever tell ye not to sneak up on a lass with a weapon? I could’a killed ye ya know.”

“Surprisingly not.” Sabrina commented, a hand over her heart as she looked at the other, “And I don’t think it would have killed me, slightly maimed, yes. Killed, no.”

Freya smiled and stood up, leading the other blonde out of the library. “You’re so right. I’ve never met a chocolate ice cream that didn’t fix all my problems at least temporarily,” she chuckled. “Is it just me or are they really piling on the assignments more than usual?”

“See, for me it’s cookie dough- but I respect your choices.” Sabrina smiled at the other before letting out a small noise at the others words, “I thought they were supposed to be letting up before the Holiday’s give us a chance to enjoy them and all- but something tells me I’m going to be spending most of break either on my laptop or in the library. Something my Mom won’t approve of- she’s a big celebration person after all.”

Tiny nodded. “The kitchens are down the left hallway.” She said now propping herself up on her elbows. “Oh, the lighting is really good right here.” She now brought herself to standing and picked up her dance bag, trying to shove her pointe shoes into the already full bag and just barely getting it zipped. “Here, I can show you where the back door to the kitchens is.”

“Right. Of course. My bad.” Sabrina commented with a small snap of her fingers, “Really? Maybe I should start lying down on floors more often to get that perfect selfie.” She commented, smiling at the other when she offered to show her the way to the kitchens. “Thanks, I swear it’s for good intentions only.”

It was almost closing time and Laveau couldn’t have been more thrilled. There’d been some AKs there doing an extra credit assignment that had gotten on her nerves quite a bit. Needless to say, she was ready for the day to end. As she rounded the corner, she was surprised to find a person in one of the villains wings. “Oh! I’m sorry, I didn’t expect to see anyone in here so close to closing,” she remarked, looking the other up and down curiously, “Is there something I can help you with, my friend?”

Sabrina couldn’t help but jump slightly upon hearing someone’s voice behind her, “Sorry- kind of lost track of time.” She told the other before looking to her watch, “I was just, doing research- on my mother and well... others. Browsing if you will.”

Freya had been working on a sketch all morning at the library, soon enough she knew she needed a break. She noticed someone at the table next to hers and remembered what her mother told her, it’s ok to make friends. “My brain feels fried, I need ice cream. Do you want to come with?”

Sabrina wasn’t sure if she was actually being productive, it was more like her just staring at the page and hoping the assignment would write itself, so when she heard someone speak up she couldn’t help but thank whatever was out there for the needed break that was basically being handed to her, “Do you even need to wait for an answer, of course I want ice cream. It makes everything so much better.”

On any normal day if someone were to ask where to find Tiny it would be exactly where she was now, on the floor of the dance studio taking selfies and trying to find the perfect angle after having worked on her routine for the morning. She was just fixing the setting on her phone when she heard the door creak open. “Uh- I have the studio for another half hour, can I help you?”

“And I’m in the completely wrong place.” Sabrina commented as she poked her head through the door, “Someone told me that the back door to the kitchens was down here, but clearly I’ve been misled. Though I do have to ask, why are you on the floor?”
