Old art I did of some of my OCs. I was planning on possibly doing some kind of comic or something like that so I made an idea for a cover. (probably isn't gonna happen now or at least not for a while)
I made a vector rig of my OC Aisha and decided to mess around and make some animations. I had to take a screen recording so that's why it's a bit laggy. I'm sure there was a better way to do it but I didn't want to spend all that time figuring out how.
I have a lot of refs, lore, and worldbuilding for these four since I've had them a while. So I'm gonna add a cut here because this is gonna be a very long post lol

Pre-group lore:
Aisha's parents have always pushed her to succeed, leading her to focus on schoolwork a lot. While Aisha is smart when it comes to school she finds it hard to absorb the information taught so she has to re-teach herself at home to be able to complete assignments. At first she had the help of her parents to help her balance this and having time to herself. However her mother passed from a heart defect and left just Aisha and her dad. Aisha's dad began throwing himself into his work to distract himself from the pain of losing his wife and to pay off the medical bills from his wife. Without the help of her parents Aisha quickly fell into a cycle of studying until she couldn't. All her time was spent studying or resting, leaving her almost no time to herself. The only time she had to herself was when she'd cook her own meals so she could keep studying.
Forming of group lore:
One day during another long study session Evryn suddenly crashed through their window in his weakened form hitting her in the face. Eventually Evryn explained his situation to her. He had been sent to monitor a ship of criminal aliens but someone sabotaged them. Landing the ship of criminals on the moon and crashing his ship on Earth. Now he just needed a place to stay so he can get everything back in order. After bribing Aisha with the prospect of helping her study and do her homework faster through alien magic she agrees to let him stay. After demonstrating his alien magic by fufiling his promise to help Aisha get her schoolwork done faster she realizes she doesn't really remember what she even likes to do. Since Evyrn needed to survey the area anyway she decides to walk with him while trying not to have an existential crisis. On the walk they meet one of the escaped criminals. Evyrn tries to use a magical alien tool (basically a magical girl wand) but is unable to because of his weakened state. His wand is then broken into three pieces. The alien then charges at Aisha and out of fear she grabs a peice of the wand which is able to resonate with her and transforms her into a magical girl. After defeating the criminal Aisha finds out that somehow somewhere in her bloodline was an alien. Otherwise she wouldn't have been able to resonate with the wand shard. Eventually it gets worked out that Aisha would be helping with the criminals while Evryn recharged their powers. In exchange for this work she hadn't originally signed up for Evryn aggreed to be friends with Aisha, or at least to have a go at it.
Random Facts idk where else to put:
-Her favorite song is Isn't she Lovely by Stevie Wonder because one of the few memories she still has of both of her parents together. They used to sing it together to Aisha who was named after the song because both of them liked the song prior to having a child
-she doesn't have a ton of memories from when her mom was a live and her dad wasn't buried in work even though her mom died shortly after starting the 4th grade. She remembers a few things but her memory has blocked out most memories before then
-she styles her hair the way she does because it's the way her mom used to style it when she was young (she knows from photos)
-she's a pretty good cook

-after meeting Robin she started to watch anime, her favorite is Ouran host club because it's the first one she watched (that she's aware of) because Robin showed it to her
-she found out she liked playing volleyball for fun after going on a beach trip with the group

-she knows she's probably neurodivergent in some way but hasn't gotten any form of diagnosis
-pretty much lives by herself because of how often her dad is at work
-was very underweight before meeting the group and has gotten to a healthier weight since meeting them

Pre-group lore: Hiro has always been a fan of sports and has been competing ever since he could remember. When he was younger he mostly did boxing but when he went into middle school and joined the junior high soccer/football team he was officially hooked. He spent almost every waking hour training or playing. Eventually he saw a big decline in his grades after but with the help of his parents was able to find a better balance. As he went into high school and was given more responsibility and homework along with less supervision he fell back into some old habits.
Forming of group lore: Not too long after Aisha met Evryn Hiro got assigned to do a school project with Aisha. He ended up coming over to Aisha's house to work on the project and he found out about Evryn. While at Aisha's house Evryn got an alert that another criminal alien had made it's way to Earth and Aisha left to fight it with Hiro following her because he wasn't going to miss out on watching a magical girl and alien fight. During the battle Aisha gets beaten badly and looks as if she's going to lose. Hiro feeling strong feelings of guilt and wanting to help manages to resonate with the second of the three shards of Evryn's wand and is able to transform into a magical guy and help fight off the alien. After heading back to Aisha's place he makes a similar agreement to what Aisha had with Evryn. He'd get some of the alien magic help that would allow him to do schoolwork faster and in return he'd keep his mouth shut about the alien stuff and do his new job of a magical guy.
Post-group formation lore:
-with the help of Evryn's alien magic he's actually able to find a good balance of practice and having time for himself and friends. As he realizes he's also been pushing himself to hard with sports and adjusts his habits this balance becomes even better
-was introduced to anime by Robin, he doesn't have a favorite but is fond of sports anime
-found an interest in baking from helping Aisha cook

Pre-group lore:
Their mom used to be really caring and loving but when as they started to become a teen their mom couldn't take being a parent anymore. Unfortunately their mom didn't really have much they could do about it so they basically left Robin to raise themselves. Their mom provided for all their physical needs and even gave them an allowance but didn't interact with them at all. Somehow Robin managed to get through high school so far with As and Bs. Along with plenty of time to themselves. With this free time came a lot of time to waste. Robin didn't have a ton of friends because eventually the topic of meeting their parents would come up and with their mom not being involved in their life eventually the friendship would end.
Forming of group lore: From the first day Evryn had come to school with Aisha (in his weakened form) Robin had been able to see him. Eventually after Hiro became friends with Aisha and hanging out with her more Robin decided to ask about Evryn. By doing this they discovered that they also had some alien ancestor because Evryn had been using magic that would make him invisible to the human eye. After this discovery Aisha asked Robin if they wanted to be friends and they decided to say yes and somehow got roped into a hangout at Aisha's place that day. Much like Hiro's first visit there was an alert of another escaped alien convict. Robin followed them and watching them they couldn't help but want to join in and with their powerful emotions they resonated with the last of the 3 shards of Evryn's wand and helped fight off the alien.

-Eventually they bring up the topic of their mom to the group and they help them work through their emotions on the topic
-responsible for teaching Evryn how to swear/cuss
-Hiro got them interested in giving sports anime a chance and while it isn't their favorite genre they still like it and are glad hiro got them to give it a chance

He was happy when he was informed that he'd be going to accompany a ship of criminals to another planet because he could prove his responsibility to his dad and be able to let loose a bit while he wasn't being watched 24/7

I've had these OCs for a while now and was planning on doing some kind of animated thing with them so I decided to hold off on posting them for a good while. Quinn is an entity who feeds on the evil and negative emotions of those around them and they travel and preform to find crowds to feed off of.
Random Lore bits/fun facts:
-Quinn is an entity that's existed for a long time, they've started to gain a bit of notoriety in certain spaces since the age of the internet and since they've stuck with their current appearance for a while now
-they don't tend to stick with a group for long. They'll usually only be around for about 10 shows before leaving to go to a different group
-Quinn tends to cover up their trail by using their powers to mess with the memories of those who come in contact with them. They try not to mess with them too much and just tend to erase the memory of the date, time, and sometimes place they were seen to avoid people tracking them down.
-no one has seen Quinn without a mask or something obscuring their face, at least not anyone who's alive and remembers.
-Quinn isn't a violent entity though they aren't afraid to resort to violence if logic and reason won't work
-Quinn doesn't have many close relationships. The only thing really keeping him on earth among humans is the need to feed, the sights they see while traveling, and being able to preform and mess around with humans
-Quinn is very expressive while preforming and teasing people, but outside of that they don't tend to be all that expressive.
-It's rare to catch Quinn expressing negative emotions themselves despite feeding off of them
-after a long day of preforming Quinn usually wanders off by themself to "recharge"
-while Quinn doesn't see humans as worthless they do see them as slightly inferior beings. As a result they sometimes treat humans more like pets than people. Sometimes this is intentional and exaggerated if they're messing around but it's not an uncommon occurrence.
-Quinn both likes and hates kids. He loves the whimsy and moxie a lot of kids have but they absolutely hate how loud and handsy they are.

Personal Lore:
Rei Minami grew up having a pretty average life. He did above average in school and eventually landed a remote job shortly after graduation. They pay wasn't the greatest but the convenience of being able to work from home on his own time was worth it. One day he met Fei, an alien from space sent to find girls who could help them fight off aliens coming to attack their planet as magical girls. Fei however was very misinformed about human gender and mistook Rei as a girl. Due to the lack of knowledge of humans and Rei thinking their proposal was some kind of prank they ended up becoming a magical girl. Unfortunately for Rei the alien magic can't be taken away once given so he was stuck in the role of a magical girl. Now he has to balance fighting off evil aliens, doing his job, and finding time for himself while going through the struggles of becoming an adult.
Likes: herself, building things, tinkering, messing with people, messing with Rei (when working as magical girls), feeling powerful, being fashionable even if it is less convenient

Personal Lore:
Airi growing up was considered a gifted child. She excelled in school and finished early allowing her to invest all her time into her favorite thing; building and engineering things. She was quickly able to make a fortune through selling her patents and built her dream home which she uses to make more inventions. All her success led her to develop quite the ego. She thinks of herself as better than everyone else since no one has ever been able to best her. This led her to develop a lack of empathy and a self-centered worldview, seeing other people as obstacles or background characters. One day she ran into an alien named Xi. Xi was given similar instructions to Fei, to find good-hearted girls who'd be willing to become magical girls to fight off evil aliens coming to invade earth. Airi quickly accepted the offer and almost immediately made Xi regret picking her by using her newfound powers for selfish desires. After a few alien attacks Airi realized that if she wants to be able to keep inventing and building stuff she needs to actually help fight off the aliens she begrudgingly begins to actually help Rei. However, since she only really cares about herself and doesn't like being told what to do sometimes her stepping in to help causes more problems. As her story progresses she get's better about not letting her ego get in the way and she gets better at feeling empathy for other people.
Shared lore: Both Rei and Airi work as magical girls together. At first they only know each other as their magical girl personas but eventually they meet up outside of their magical girl duties. Their relationship has a very rough start with Airi being very egotistical and Rei having a short fuse for that kind of behavior. Eventually after communication and time spend together their relationship improves.
World lore:
There exists and alien species somewhere out there in space and one day an alien named Py accidentally sends a ship of evil aliens they had locked up crashing into Pluto. This released the aliens and led them to searching for the nearest planet to conquer, Earth. Seeing their mistake Py having watched too many anime and not wanting to interfere with the progression of the human race too much decided to make magical girls. They would find human girls to give alien magic to so they could fight off the evil aliens that would try to invade their planet.

Jaylin's mother was always an independent person and wanted to make a good life for herself by herself. With luck and determination she was able to meet her goal and make a good life for herself after starting a small company. Eventually she decided that she wanted to raise a kid. Uninterested in love and getting married she opted to using other methods to have Jaylin. She raised Jaylin with the help of her family and eventually helped him go to college where he would major in buisness and minor in preforming arts where he'd meet Aster and become good friends with them.
