How the heck do y'all draw his hair-

I'm trying to draw Iida Shroud and I'm struggling a bit with his hair. I know I wanna adjust the shape of his hair a bit but with how my layers are I'm gonna have to wait till I'm almost finished rendering to adjust anything. Any advice on how to draw his hair or generally any art advice/critique would be greatly appreciated. Also for anyone wondering I took artistic liberties for his outfit because I felt like it.

Name: Ivo

Nicknames: lil guy, Berry

Age: hard to determine but about the equivalent of 13-15 in human years

Birthday: June 22nd

Gender: male

Pronouns: he/him usually but is fine with any

Height: 4'11 / 150cm

Sexuality: unsure

Likes: berries +fruit, quiet napping spots, pan flute, flowers, snails

Dislikes: loud gunshots, bees, strong smells

Notes:

-He doesn't have any kind of furry snout his face is shaped like a humans (besides of his nose)

-he only has fur on the ends of his arms and legs, his tail, and his ears, on the rest of his body it's closer to a humans though he has a lot more vellus hair than a normal human would have

-he's mostly non-verbal and some kind of neurodivergent

Lore:

No one quite knows where Ivo came from. A group of adventurers stumbled upon him in the woods one day and basically adopted him. He's mostly non-verbal so for the longest time they would call him lil dude or Berry (because of his like of berries). Now the adventure together like a happy family

Random Lore bits/fun facts:

-one of the members of the adventuring group gifted him the snail hairclip he wears

-another member helped him embroider flowers into his clothes

-apples are his favorite fruit

-was malnourished when the adventures found him and he was abandoned for a while so no one is sure of how old he is

-no one is quite sure for his species but the adventure group suspects some kind of deer hybrid and fae were probably his parents

-he learns quickly

-has healing magic and flora/earth magic

-same world as my OCs Naga and Kai just in a completely different area and continent

Nickname: Roa (pronounced : rəʊ)

Age: unknown

Birthday: unknown, but celebrates November 25th

Gender: doesn't have one and tends to present androgynous though will sometimes lean more masc or fem

Pronouns: any but tends to lean towards they/them

Height: they can adjust their height but it's 5'7 / 170cm usually

Sexuality: unknown

Likes: getting reactions out of people, observing humans, training roaches

Dislikes: blending into human society, people who hate roaches and bugs, mint, overly bright lights

Notes:

-stars on the pants are glow in the dark

-their earrings are roach-shaped

-the heart in their birdcage ribcage is their soul and it will glow and change color slightly depending on their emotions

-the more horizontal stripes on the top are supposed to be chains that looks like the top of a ribcage. I know I didn't portray that very well on the ref

-the little hair ahoge emote (look up battamonda sky precure for reference idk how to describe it well)

-while they mostly wear their jester outfit they don't stick to it all the time so if you wanna draw them feel free to draw them in a different outfit

-they have prominent bottom lashes

Lore :

Roa is an entity like my OC Quinn. They feed off strong emotions from humans and occasionally appears in the human world to stir chaos for entertainment and sustenance.

Random Lore bits/fun facts:

-they will occasionally follow Quinn when they preform since their performances tend to elicit strong emotions

-when they travel and preform with Quinn for their act they train bugs to dance

-they've engaged in romantic relationships with humans before, though the most of the relationships were toxic as Roa would sometimes use them just for their strong emotions. Over their long life they've realized their mistakes and have had healthier relationships since.

-they ended up dressing up as a jester because they imitated Quinn after noticing humans wrote off Quinn's quirks more because of their wardrobe.

-the almost always keep the same color pallet for their clothes when they change into something outside of their jester outfit

-most of the time when they change outfits it's when they're with a romantic partner, Quinn, or the rare human friend.

-They act really flirty which has led to them having more romantic than platonic relationships

-Roa tends to lean a bit more violent than Quinn though still tends to be relatively peaceful when it comes to conflict. When they get pushed further unless it's something they hate a lot they'll usually result to manipulation as opposed to throwing hands.

-the reason Roa visits Earth is because they find humans interesting

-Roa sees humans as equals in every way except physical capabilities

-When it comes to children they admire their moxie and creativity though gets annoyed by how many questions they ask.

-Morally the best align with chaotic neutral though since a lot of their actions are made in their own based interest you could argue they lean slightly more towards evil than good

-she'll add and remove accessories a lot but tries to keep the same base outfit when going out to raves so people can better recognize her

Lore so far:

-same world as my OCs Tsubasa Karma Star and Nova which as of now I'm calling their world/story Angel Corp. (might change it or add something to it)

-She's casual friends with Tsubasa and Karma and has interreacted quite a bit with Star, overall her relationships are positive with them even if she doesn't hang around them a ton

-her domain is over raves, she is a newer angel which makes it a bit harder for her to fit in with the others especially since she's a higher rank than most newer angels

-Her view on the god of her world is pretty neutral, she doesn't really care all to much if they're dead or alive. She likes her job and humans enough to want to keep the angel's operation/duties running

-she likes interacting with humans by going to raves and sometimes doing DJ gigs at raves
