Who’s ready for the winter?
I made a thing. :D I think Aerith chose the sexier and better personality man.
Just having some fun in the snow with }{ @fleurdesaison
Cloud couldn’t help but chuckle when he saw Aerith’s reaction to the cold snow. Sure, it bothered him too since it was so cold, but at least he was expecting it. His fun was short lived as he was hit with snow from her.
“I might regret it. Only a little thought. But your face was still priceless.”

☆ Sprawled out by her entrance door, where she had meant to lock up and go to sleep. Suddenly, things were heavy again. She felt it there, in her chest. Tightening and hard to breathe. He had left some time ago when the morning came over horizon, but alarms did go off. She felt secure in what she established, home and family and stability enveloping her in bedroom, in pillows, in sheets. But the emptiness felt on her bar stool, the presence lost and lack of words to express through a voicemail what it meant to never be able to keep anything together… Surely, those could pass with time?
Here she was again. In the same trap as before, like nothing had changed. The air was clogged. He was on her floor and couldn’t breathe. Maybe, in the back of her mind she did think, he understood then what it was like to be by the door. Waiting for something that would never come. Maybe he understood the feeling, but not that he inflicted it on someone. Her brow furrowed in silent contemplation, yet her fingers curled by the collar of his vest to pull him up proper.
“No one’s out there, Cloud. It’s just. Just you and me. At home again.” Her voice grew quiet, an echo in the empty bar. Tifa tilted her head and examined his disheveled form, confused by his words. He wasn’t making sense, what spills? “Come on. You need to rest.”
Feeling the hand around his collar, Cloud would sit up when Tifa tugged. his whole body felt exhausted. At first his gaze was low and on the floor. Looking over his legs lazily before moving to Tifa. he listened to her as he started from her legs, working his way up to seeing her eye to eye. Seeing the worry in her eyes made him feel less like an idiot. He could tell she knew. Why there were “things chasing” him. Turning his head away Cloud tried to still his shaky breath with one long one. He couldn’t shake the feeling of being a bother.
“Sorry,” he mumbled and shook his head lightly. “I was out in the plains, it was raining so I stopped to try and wait it out. I guess I must have fallen asleep or maybe day dreaming.” There was a pause and Cloud tried to swallow the lump that was forming in his throat. Thinking about it made him more uneasy. "I just, had to get out of there. I was so panicked at first I fell off my bike. I think I did again when I made too sharp of a turn.” There was another shake of his head as he couldn’t quite recall.
“All I could think about was home. I had to come home.” Lifting his gaze again, Cloud looked to Tifa again. He felt so terribly alone outside, but the pain felt less intense now that he was inside.

His head felt foggy. It was a miracle that he was able to drive home in his state. He had to go home. That’s what kept repeating in his mind. Home would be safe. Safe is home. After parking outside he didn’t even bother with his things. Seeing the door leading inside Cloud didn’t hesitate. He needed to get inside at that moment. There was just something gnawing at him.
Once he was inside that was it. What little energy he had mustered sputtered out as he collapsed on to the floor. Before he knew it Tifa was there next to him. Lifting an arm the ex-soldier would look up at her. “I was dreaming. Bad dream. I had to come home,” he answered quietly. Rolling onto his back Cloud would close his eyes. He tried to relax, but couldn’t.
“I might have had a spill or two while driving. I just, couldn’t stop. If felt like something was after me. Like if I stopped it was going to get me.” As the words left him he couldn’t help but feel bad. Silly, like a scared child running home to hide under a bed from shadows.

Clack Week Day 4 (part 1) - Comical (and crossover?)
lovelysweetxhart:
She heard him spoke up about his doubt, she quietly shuts her eyes and just tighten her embrace, leaning upon his chest taking in the warm. She mutters softly. “Everyone has their different views on how they look at us, b-but what matters is our bond with AVALANCHE, our friends, Marlene and Denzel..” She tried to smile softly
“You have no idea h-how much you meant to all of us, especially to both Aerith and me. You came like you promise on several occasions when I’m hurt, wounded..” She shed a small tear with her hands tightens slightly as she shook. “I’m proud of you, so please..don’t ever change..” She buries further into his chest mumbling softly. “I..I l-love you..” she whimpered shifting her gaze away in embarrassment.
He didn’t move as Tifa continued to embrace him, clinging even tighter than a moment ago. For the moment Cloud appeared calm. His breath even, and he didn’t try to move away from Tifa. Listening to her calmly as she spoke of their friends. It was only when Aerith was brought up that Cloud felt an electric charge through the air like static. Sitting up straight he turned his head away from Tifa. He felt, anxious. He knew the only reason she was brought up was because Tifa meant what she simply said in truth. They were important for many different reasons. Thinking about it made his heart ache.
However the last statement prompted Cloud to pull away and stand up. Taking precious steps away from the bed he missed Tifa’s soft whimpering, not clearly making out the words. His eyes moved looking for somewhere else to focus on. The thought of never changing felt upsetting and sour. Like someone shoved sour fruit in his mouth.
“I guess I should be happy that you’re willing to be with someone who is so emotionally stunted. I’m not-- I’m not a child, but I can’t call myself an adult either. I’m just a damn fool who was lucky that what I wanted didn’t end up killing us all.”

She led him back towards their room before settling him down in bed with her hands still holding onto his, her thumbs gently idly strokes against his hands while she crouches, glancing back at him worrying . “Cloud..” She paused for a moment before sitting next to him, lifting her knees towards her chest, hugging them close as she leans slightly upon him. “Won’t you tell me what wrong?”
Her glance lowers softly. “It not like you, to drink..” She softly spoke hoping that he would open up to her. “I’m not going to scold or lecture you..trust me we will solve it together” She softly wraps her arms around him in a gentle hug
Cloud sat on the bed easily enough. His odd blue eyes still keeping their gaze away from the brunette. It was only when Tifa crouch down that she filled his gaze. Eyes moving to focus on her, he quickly averted his eyes not what to say quite yet. When she moved to sit next to him on the bed a thought would cross his mind. It would set off other thoughts, but for now he kept focus on just one.
“Do you think I’m a good person?” He asked quietly. Feeling the arms wrapped around him, Cloud would softly lift his head a little. “I know what I did. And I know why I did it. But that doesn’t really make me a good person, does it? Saving the planet from meteor was just a bonus.”
Maiden’s Kiss…?
