for the last few moments the uchiha has been staring at hidan from beneath the fringe of his lashes. he's honestly contemplating why this man wants to bother him so badly but he come up with nothing. so instead, itachi moves forward, fingers of one hand curling into a fist, which he uses to tap his knuckles against the silver haired male's forehead. ❝....if i pour hot tea in your lap, or tip your plate over when you're eating, you'd want to fight. find someone else to bother.❞

He snorted-reaching out to knock Itachi’s hand away, the immortal leaned forward to cut the space between them. “No,” he replied sweetly-voice dripping sugar and honey as his smile widened. “It’s not bothering you, Itachi. You should honestly feel honored I’m giving a possible heathen attention, hmm?”

He couldn’t help but howl. Covered in blood and still in pain from the sacrifice he’d given, Hidan barely looked at his comrade as he laughed at the carnage around him. “I told ya, didn’t I?” he snickered. “That I didn’t need your help.”

The immortal sighed and brought his pendant to his lips-pressing it to his mouth as he glared at Shikamaru. “Well you’re looking awful,” he laughed under his breath. “I don’t think Jashin-sama would even want you.”

He wasn’t always yowling. Sometimes, when he was alone-like now-Hidan knew how to shut up. Though, admittedly, he was much more tired than he’d thought he’d be, and didn’t have the energy to run his mouth with no one around. One eye opened as he heard noise in the trees across from him, and a hand strayed to his scythe-just in case.
