hi. I don’t really use tumblr anymore, in fact, its been four months since I posted on this blog. But I think we’ve all already heard the news about Tim and I wanted to get something out on this blog, as I posted a lot about the EDM community. When I found out today I had that surreal moment where I literally stopped in my tracks and didn’t want to believe it, but the source was legit. Avicii is one of the first names I learned when I was back in middle school and getting into the EDM scene. His work has had such a profound impact on my appreciation for music. I took this picture at Aït-Ben-Haddou on my way to the Sahara in October. Another traveler, from God knows where, had stopped at this way-point too and wrote this on the bridge leading into the old city. Just a line from The Nights. I took it to heart and had the most memorable and beautiful weekend of my life. Tim, you touched so many people, and your music will continue to do so. Thank you for sharing your world with us.
