just thinking about aftercare with clark on his birthday when youâre spent and sore after one of the best nights of your life,
following a couple minutes of comfy close cuddling and sweet whispers he tries to stand to clean you up and you immediately push him back down.
âitâs your birthday! let me take care of you for once,â you pout, albeit almost falling straight to the ground the second you get up, you are just soooo spent and sore right now. Clark coming in handy with his super speed, not letting you fall, before saying, deviously with a smirk,
âlet me please, i like doing this for you and i am the only one of us who can stand right nowâ

The walk home was silent, you didn't try to break the silence, and neither did he. He just held your hand as the two of you walked in silence. You thought back to times before when you'd walk in silence, and how it'd feel so comforting, he'd hold on tight to your hand, giving it a little squeeze every couple of seconds. Then you thought about now, and he was holding your hand just enough, you could feel it from slipping awayâthat's not the only place you felt his distance, either.Â
Clark also thought back to when he learned that song for you, when he made more time for you. Recently itâs been hard, he was constantly being just enough in every aspect of his life. The past weeks he had been just in time too many times, too many.Â
He was scared he was also becoming just enough for you because he wanted to be more than thatâhe wanted to be what you were to him: light, pure, wholesome, and beautifulâmore than just. He had even felt less than just enough when he heard that song on the train, what was once his favorite song now only served as a reminder of every way he was failing to be more for you.Â
A song he had once taken the time to learn, even with all the chaos of his life, he now didnât even recognize, and then he thought back to the people he had been just in time to saveâthe lives he had just barely saved and Lex Luthor's destructive constant raging evil. His mind was just someplace else, frustrated and angryânot thinking clearly.
The door clicked when it shut, and you let out a deep breath through your nose. You thought it had broken the silence and he would speak now. But he didn't. He took off his coat and his blazer, revealing his undershirt, and went to the kitchen, washing some dishes you had left in the morning, back-faced to you.
âClarkâŚ? What's wrong?â you whisperedâyou knew he heard you perfectly.
âNothing,â he responded, frowning and shaking his head.
âYou seem upset,â you whispered cautiouslyâyou were never scared with Clark, but you were still careful.
âI'm not upset. I'm tired,â he replied, still washing the dishes, still not facing you.
âI know, I get that, but you can still talk to me about it, or try? It's probably not healthy to keep your feelings bottled in like this.â You tried to reason. He chuckled. A good sign, you thought.
âI'm fine,â he said, scrubbing harder now.
âI just don't think you are Clark. I know with everything that's been going on you have to be so stressed, and I get it, you're Superman, all-powerful and whatever, butââ
The dishes made a loud clattering sound as he dropped them against the sink suddenly.
âJust leave it,â he said sternly. It wasn't a yell, not really he had just raised his voice at you, but he hadn't just done that. It was the first time in the seven months you two had been together that he had ever raised his voice at you.
It took Clark only a second to realize what he'd done, but when he did, his throat hitched, and he instantly turned around to look at you, mouth parted to say something, but all he could do was thinkâ
"Idiot," he thought. She was just trying to help. You two had never had a fight, so he thought you'd start yelling, leave, or worse, tell him you hated himâthat you never wanted to see him againâbut you just averted his gaze, staring down at the floor, now picking at your nails before speaking.
âOkay⌠sorry.â
No no no no no no no.
He could see it in your eyes the moment you averted his gazeâyour eyes were glistening, you were about to cry.
Clark hated when you cried, he made note of it the first time he saw you do so. You were watching Dead Poets Society, your favorite movie, and he turned his face to look at you and saw how your lips were swollen, your eyes were puffy and red, and your cheeks were glistening with tear stains, and although it was a beautiful sight, it was then he swore he'd never hurt you like that, he'd never make you cry.
âI'm sorry,â he sighed out, stepping closer, careful, hoping you'd look at him and see in his sad, tired eyes that he really was sorry.
âIt's okay, Clark,â you squeaked out.
âNo, no, it's not. Donât do thatâplease donât do that.â
âWhat?â you replied, finally looking up at him.
âDonât try and make me feel better about it. Iâm sorry I shouldn't have raised my voice you were only trying to talk to me.â He stepped closer, breaking any distance between the two of you, cupping your face in his large hands, and staring at you for a moment or two, suddenly a long time had passed.
âIâve just... missed you,â he breathed out finally. He forgets you don't have the super-hearing and you won't pick up on the desperation in his voice.
âBut it's no excuse,â he pleaded. Then he did something you hadn't expected from him: he let go of your faceânot bitterly, not because he wanted to, but because now he was going down.
Now with both knees on the ground, his hands each grabbed onto the back of your upper thighs, thumbs softly grazing back and forth. Someone who people think of as a godâkneelingâright in front of you.
He grabbed the back of your thighs and pulled you in closer, resting his head onto your lower stomach.
"Iâll never speak to you in that way ever again, baby. Iâm so sorry Iâve neglected you. I miss you so much, and Iâm so horrible I donât deserve you." He kissed the inside of your thighs before looking up at you.Â
You couldn't resist the smile that peeked through onto your face. You hugged him while he was still on his knees, lowering down a little to reach him.Â
âIâm not angry with you, Clark sometimes it gets too much. Iâll never be able to understand what it's like to be you. I just don't want you to start pulling away when it gets to be too much. Will you let me carry the weight sometimes? Iâm no superhero, but Iâll always try for you, honey.âÂ
He laughed at your tone.Â
âI haven't felt much like a superhero lately.â This brought a frown to your face. Clark, not a superhero? No such thing.Â
You got down on your knees so your eyes were almost level with him now, though you still had to look up to meet them, beautiful sad oceans. All you wanted to do was bring back the gentle tide in them. You cupped his face gently.
âClark, don't say that. Don't you ever say that. Do you even understand what you are to people? You're the light, baby. You're beautiful, you're pure, you're everything the people need, you're more than I need, and you're all I want, forever.â Your words brought a wholesome smile to his face.Â
âI love you, baby. Youâre my whole world. Do you know that?â You giggled at his words.
âI sure hope so, Clark, because I am so in love with you,â you said, hugging him tightly. Â
He hugged you back, holding you as he stood up slowly, making your feet lift right off of the ground when he was straight up. You buried your head into the crook of his neck, whispering,
âAnd I've missed you too, by the way.â This made him smile so cheesily. He carried you over to the couch and laid you down, staring down at you as you got up on your elbows to stare back at him, taking your bottom lip in between your teeth, feeling your cheeks grow red with his eyes so hungry on you. He dove into you suddenly, now on top of you, kissing you hungrily, passionately, and sloppily, both hands on your face as you simultaneously tried and struggled to unbutton your top.
âClark, can you just rip it?â You breathed out. He chuckled at your words.Â
âBut I like to watch you struggle, itâs very cute.â He smirked, you reached behind you and grabbed a pillow, scolding him as you threw it. He made an exaggerately hurt face, mouthing,
âOuch,â before reaching down and instantly ripping off your blouse. It came off with no struggle and landed off to the side. Then he stoppedâthe sudden quickness and harshness was followed by him gently grazing your chest with his fingers. He noticed the clasp of your bra in the front and carefully undid it with one hand, it came undone with just oneâ
Click.
Suddenly you felt the need for him more as you wrapped your legs around and squeezed his waist with them, pulling him in. He groaned at the friction. You brought both hands to his face before kissing and melting your mouths together.
âDo you want me to take you to the bedroom?â he said, unsure if he would even last the journey there.
âJust take me here, now please," you begged, gasping for air from the kiss and whining.
He could hear you were as desperate as he was, so he crashed his lips onto yours once again.
Your exposed nipples hardened in the cold, and his hands traveled up your pencil skirt, unintentionally lifting it just above the middle of your thighs as he ripped into your black stockings effortlessly.
âSorry.â He said, smiling into your mouth.
You threw your head back laughing before going back to kissing him again.
He slid his middle finger inside of you, you gasped at the sudden movement and the cold feel of his hand. Then he pecked down your neck and whispered sweet nothings into you as he started pumping his finger in and out of you faster than he usually did. You squirmed and whined underneath his touch.Â
âOh my God, Clark.â
It was perfect all at once,
he added his ring finger, and you threw your head back in pleasure. Your moans and whimpers were soft but grew louder, and they were music to his ears.Â
âYouâre always so pretty like this, baby.â
He studied every minor expression on your face to replicate his moves every time he saw pleasure on your face and you suddenly felt that familiar knot in your stomach, and you started bucking into his fingers exaggeratingly, whining. He knew you were close now that you had started to fuck his fingers, so he sped up ever so slightly and covered your whole left breast with his mouth, sucking before suckling onto your nipple. You whimpered hard, and your shut eyes began to water.
He looked up at youâfrom your breast still in his mouth, he loved watching you lose yourself under his touch, desperate and messy. He dragged his tongue up and across your breast, grazing your sensitive nipple, and that's just what it took for you to let out a strangled moan and curse as you came. Gasping and panting, a wave of pleasure washed over you, and it was perfect. He was perfect.
Clark came up to you at eye level to give you a kiss on the forehead, and you wrapped your arm around his neck, smiling and giggling, thanking him as he picked you up off the couch.Â
âAnytime, baby.â
You wrapped your legs around his waist as he carried you into the shower. While you were still wrapped around him, he turned on the shower just as hot as you liked it and let it run while he walked over to the bedroom, finally setting you down onto the bed.
You got up onto your elbows and could see the taunting bulge in his pants, large and throbbing.
You looked up and softened your gaze at him.
âI'm sorry,â you whispered.
He shook his head, frowning at you, before coming down to peck you on the lips.
âDonât worry about that,â he chuckled.Â
You rolled your eyes at him, knowing you'd help him in the shower.
He began to unbuckle his belt, stripping right in front of you, and that was possible just one of your favorite memories from the night.

Your heels muster a satisfying click every time you walk. It makes you feel powerful, it makes you feel important.
"Important" is a funny word to describe yourself at this moment, because truth be told, you're not actually important at all.
Today is your first "official" unofficial first day at the Daily Bugle, not as a journalist, but as an intern! You hope to be doing important things one day. You hope to even be a journalist one day! So if all you'll be doing for these first couple of years days is catching coffee and standing by the printer awkwardly waiting to be told to do something, so be it!Â
No one has to know that you've never actually worked at a newspaper before, I mean, you're only 19. I'm sure it's implied.
Likewise, no one has to know that your heels are from the local thrift shop that you bought because you wanted to seem professional and they were the tallest ones you could find.Â
They were pretty professional anyways if no one looked too close and saw the deteriorating suede.Â
The revolving doors were heavy as you pushed your way through them and into the building.Â
You took the elevator up, and as the doors opened, you could already hear Mr. Jonah Jameson screaming at someone about a deadline. Oh, how you loved journalism! You would consider yourself an optimist if something can go right, it will go right, Murphy's law or whatever.Â
âAH, there you are, youâre late!â Mr. Jameson mercifully stops screaming at some poor reporter to turn his attention to you. Â
âI start at 8. Itâs 7:45?âÂ
âWhat is this interview? No time for disputes!â He moves along and leaves you bewildered there before turning around and gawking at your distance, baffled that you aren't following.
You take the hint and follow behind swiftly.Â
âThis is Ben Urich!â he points at a man nearby.Â
âVeteran reporter here, and he'll be in charge of you until further notice!âÂ
âOkay, Iââ Before you can get any questions out, you've noticed Mr. Jameson has swiftly disappeared. You stand there baffled only for a second before Mr. Urich starts rapidly speaking.Â
âOkay, listen hereâŚâ He cocks an eyebrow in your direction.Â
You offer your name, and he repeats it with an âOKâ before continuing.
âI'll be overseeing you until further notice. As Jameson mentioned, I'll let you read all my articles and show you the editing process. You'll essentially sit on my shoulder while I carry out my duties! But try to hover, eh?âÂ
You nod rabidly and try to stop your foot from tapping against the floor to calm your anxiety. Mr. Urich looks down, taking notice, but doesn't say anything before continuing over to a different section of the Bugle.Â
âThis is where you'll find the coffee, the fridge, and the printer.â Mr. Urich gestures to a small open-concept room.Â
A timid man who canât be older than 18 stands there looking mindlessly around.Â
Mr. Urichs takes a deep breath before continuing.Â
âPlease refrain from standing there awkwardly. We have enough interns doing that alreadyâAS YOU CAN SEE!â He raises his voice near the end, startling the man near the printer.Â
âDavid! Go make yourself useful and fix that copy printer!âÂ
âYes, sir!â the shy manâs voice cracks when he responds, and a small giggle escapes your throat, Mr. Urichâs eyes however, seem very piercing as they lock back in on yours, so you are quick to shut it.Â
Suddenly he lets out a loud laugh, holding his hand to his chest and throwing his head back. You're so startled by this that you gasp and jump slightly.
âOK!â Mr. Urich snipes, no longer laughing.
âI like my coffee black, one cream, no sugar.â The coffee shop isâ
âThree blocks away?â you offer. You passed one on the way here, taking note of it. You knew you'd be running coffees. Now, however, you were mentally checking off standing by the printer curiously off your checklist.Â
Mr. Urich smirks at your comment.
âThat's good!â He says.Â
âBe back soon! â Already gone before you can give a response.Â
Something peculiar about the city is how fast it can change. You had walked past the coffee shop on your way to the Daily Bugle and couldn't have been inside the Bugle for more than 20 minutes before you were running out to that same coffee shop. In those 20 minutes, it seems the coffee shop must have hit some gold mine because a man's back smacks you straight in the forehead upon you entering the door, you suddenly realize that the line meets you.Â
At the door.Â
You groan in response to this, letting your foot tap mindlessly away at the floor to ease your anxiety.Â
The line took only about 30 MINUTES to get through! Once you were through, however, you had almost forgotten Mr. Urich's coffee order. Geez, what a disaster that would've been. On your way out you couldn't help but notice a young man stumbling into the Daily Bugle with a camera and several pictures of⌠Spider-Man? In his hand?Â
"That's good," you thought to yourself. You knew Mr. Jameson had been looking for someone with clear pictures of Spider-Man, although no one in town seemed to be able to get a clear picture of the bug boy before, let alone severalâŚ
You took a second to ponder this before realizing you had taken half an hour to get one coffee and hurriedly rushed your way back to the Bugle.
As you were profusely apologizing to Mr. Urich about the time it took you to get his coffee, you could hear the man that had walked in earlier talking to Betty.
âMy name is Peter Parker. Iâm a photographer.â He spoke softly, she nodded at him suspiciously before handing him a check and sending him on his merry way. Your eyes couldn't help but wander and land on him while speaking.Â
His eyes met yours, and he gave you a small smile before continuing.Â
Strange. You felt an odd pull towards him, your intuition telling you to look deeper.Â
âJust donât let it happen again,â Mr. Urichâs voice pulls you out of your thinking suddenly. Â
âHuh?âÂ
âI will call you over when I need you, okay? Donât take that long again.âÂ
âBecause I can control coffee lines?â is what you wanted to say, but found no courage to do so, so you just nodded with a smile as he walked away.Â
The rest of the day at the Bugle was not horrible.
Mr. Urich only asked you to get coffee three more times, and you did get to see a portion of his paper,
once.Â
For a couple of seconds.Â
While you were passing byâanywaysâyou found Mr. Jameson hitting the printer with the bottom of his fist later and, found it the perfect time to ask him your question from earlier.
âStupid printâAH! Who are you?â Your smile suddenly dropped as you tried to not let that comment affect you. You quickly reintroduced yourself before asking,
âI was just wondering about the front page of the latest paper. I just think it's unfair to call him that. I mean, he's clearly only helping peopleâand anyways, I had some alternative ideas that I think could be good for the front cover andââ
Mr. Jameson's laugh stopped your rambling short, as he walked away still laughing, you could feel your cheeks sting red from embarrassment. It was a stupid thought, really, but it was worth a shot anyways, right? You turned to walk away when Mr. Jameson suddenly appeared right in front of you, now it was your turn to be startled.Â
âAHâÂ
âIâll tell you what! Get me an interview with Spider-Man, and I'll consider your⌠ideas,â he spoke suspiciously with a cocked eyebrow. Your smile suddenly appeared back all at onceâsuch a simple taskâjust an interview with Spider-Man, Spider-Man, who no one can get a clear picture of, Spider-Man, who has never stuck around for a quick chat with the police after saving someone, let alone a whole interview with a journalistâŚ
You let out a deep sigh as you came to the inevitable conclusion thatÂ
You were definitely not getting an interview with Spider-Man.Â
You were definitely getting an interview with Spider-Man.Â
On your way home out of the Daily Bugle, you had stumbled into a store with some delicious bagels, and on your way out, you were so entranced by this delicious bagel that you didn't notice when you had stumbled into a hidden alleyway. You did, however, notice Spider-Man jump down from the top of a building and take his mask off.Â
I guess he seemingly thought no one was around, silly silly bugboy. Anyways, your bagel now lies gloomily on the floor, evidence of your surprise. Spiderman also seems very shocked, as his eyes are currently bulging out of his head, as they have been since he noticed you.
This was going to be easier than you thought.Â
Exploit your newfound knowledge of Spider-Man to definitely score an interview.Â
Interview Spider-Man.
Relay your interview to Mr. Jameson.Â
Become top journalist at the Daily Bugle.Â
Huh, everything seemed to be falling into placeâthis was going to be easier than you thought, especially since Spider-Man wasâ
âPeter Parker!â Your voice broke through the silence. Peter stayed in shock as you yelled his name and jogged up to him.
âPeter!â jog. âParker!â jog.
âHi,â you spoke, slightly out of breath. Peter was presumably still in shock, as he made no sudden movements, suddenly his mouth opened and his hands rose slightly like he was going to speak.
âIâŚâ he started, but made no effort to finish. You offered him your hand and your name while he remained frozen in time, then he reluctantly shook your hand before finally speaking.
âThis is not⌠Iâm⌠This is a costume,â he said slowly. You cocked an eyebrow in his direction.
âI saw you jump from the top of that building, Peter,â you said, mimicking his slow manner of speaking. The first thing you noticed about Peter was how he spoke with his hands.
âListen, you're in danger. You can't tell anyone who I am. Gosh, you shouldn'tâno one knows this!âÂ
âI wonât tell anyone, you donât have to worry, ok?â He let out a deep breath then, offering you a small smile.Â
âButttttâŚâ you said, dragging out the word. His smile suddenly fell, and his eyes drooped sarcastically.
âIâm an intern at the Daily Bugle. You were just there, and probably saw me apologizing for getting coffee late. Gosh, anyway! I need an interview with you!â Peter's eyes suddenly widened.Â
âIâm sorry, but I canât do that. I mean, itâs dangerous. The whole mask thing is so no one knows who I am. I canât have anything being linked back to me.â
âWell, it would be an interview for Spider-Man,â you said matter-of-factly, pointing at the mask he held in his hand.Â
âIâm not too sure about this.â
âPlease, just five minutes, that's all I ask. I won't put anything in that you don't want me toâthis would just be so helpful to me. I really need this!â Peter gave you a sympathetic look then.
âOkay, fine. âFive minutes, nothing less, nothing more,â he said reluctantly.Â
âYES! Okay, can you meet me at the Daily Bugleâs rooftop tomorrow at 9am?â He gave you a small nod in return.Â
âOkay, perfect. I promise you wonât regret this, Spider-MaâPeter.â He winced at your words.Â
âDonât be late, okay? â you said with a small tilt of your head. Peter tried not to notice how that small tilt made his stomach flutter.Â
âWouldnât miss it for the world,â he said back with a full smile this time.Â
The last thing Peter noticed about you was how you had lipstick smudged right below your lip, the bagel really had been that good. He wanted to take his hand and swipe it away for you, but he immediately thought about how disrespectful that would be, even if you were so pretty, he thought.Â
As you turned to walk away, he suddenly spoke up.Â
âWAIT! Um, you have something,â he spoke, gesturing to his own mouth.Â
âOh gosh, thatâs embarrassing,â you said, swiping at the bottom of your mouth, managing somehow to only smudge the lipstick more. Peter stepped closer suddenly and took your chin in his hand, swiping his thumb over the spot, transferring it to his suit instead.
âThere,â he said.
The last thing you noticed about Peter was that he has a very deep set of brown eyes.
âThank you,â you whisper.Â
âYeah,â he whispered back. You cleared your throat, deciding to be the one to break the moment.
âWell, Iâll see you tomorrow, Peter.â Peter smiled at your words.
âYeah, Iâll see you.â He whispered back.Â
Walking home felt kind of like walking on a cloud. Spider-Man was cute, you thought. You weren't going to mess up this interview by kissing him or anything, but you held on to that thought to carry you home.Â
You saw a couple of townhouses across from you on your walk home and before suddenly noticing, Peter? Peter was climbing a tree, out of costume, lunging towards what appeared to be a cat, before gently cradling the small kitten in his arms and climbing back down, handing the kitten to an old lady.Â
âThank you, young man!âÂ
âOf course it's no problem,â he said, smiling at her. He really was adorable. His eyes wandered and found yours across the street. You gave him a small smile and noticed he opened his mouth to say something. He turned to the old lady and walked her inside her home, mumbling something about calling him if she needed anything, before jogging his way across the street and to you.Â
âHey!â
âHey, I didn't realize you were a helping hand off-duty.â
âItâs not really a job to me,â he muttered. You laughed in response.
âLet me walk you home.â He offered.Â
âNo, thatâs alright, I caâ
âNo, please! Sorry I didn't mean to cut you off, it's justâŚI should've offered earlier." He said, scratching the back of his head nervously.Â
âWell, okay then, Peter.âÂ
The walk home started off silent, until Peter began asking you questions about yourself, what interning was like at the Daily Bugle, if you found any good food spots around there, and why you wanted to be a journalist.Â
You found it really easy to talk to Peter, he listened, he asked questions, and he genuinely was interested in what you had to say. That was nice for a change.Â
Peter thought you were one of the most interesting girls he's ever met, he loved the passion you had for your work and how you followed up every one of his questions with one of your own.Â
Did he like being Spider-Man? What was his family like? What did he want to do?Â
You finally made it to your apartment only a few minutes later, and you turned to fully face him.
âThank you, Peter. I donât know what I would have done without you.â He smiled at your words, looking down at his shoes.Â
âOf course, any time.â He looked up at you then, and you stayed looking into each other's eyes for a lingering moment before he spoke.Â
âHey, maybe we couââ his voice was cut short by the sound of blaring sirens speeding by. Peter turned instantly to the sound and then back to you with his eyebrows furrowed.Â
You gave him a sympathetic smile back.Â
âIâll see you tomorrow?â he spoke hurriedly, and you laughed. Â
âGo, Spidey,âÂ
he smiled at your words before rushing off into a hidden corner. A flash of red and blue leaped from building to building suddenly, Spider-Man dove off into the danger, and you're afraid he might've taken your heart with him.
It was 9:30am. Your heels tapped nervously whilst on the roof of the Daily Bugle. He was late, of course. You couldn't blame him I mean, he was probably saving someone from a burning building or rescuing a cat from a tree or someâ
âHi.â Well, Spider-MaâPeter was now in front of you.
âYouâre late,â you grumbled.
âI know, I'm sorry there was a catââ his voice fell short at the sound of your laughter.Â
âWhat?â he snapped.Â
âNothing, I just thought you were late because you were saving a kitten from a tree, and thatâs truly exactly what you were doing,â you giggled. Then you noticed something, a bouquet of flowers, your quirked an eyebrow at him.
âThese are for you,â he shyly said, bringing the beautiful array of yellow and white to you.Â
âThat isnât exactly customary for interviews Peter,â He looked down at your words, slightly embarrassed.Â
âNo! I mean im grateful, I love them theyâre my favorite flowers I donât even know how youâ
âYou mentioned them, yesterdayâ He said looking up and into your eyes. You gave him a small smile in return, he remembered.Â
âOkay well, I just wanted you know, when other people interview you and you bring them flowers, they may find it a bit⌠Odd?â
âI donât plan on having anyone else interview me,â he said softly. You felt a tug at your heart at those words,Â
damn you Peter and your ever attempt at thieving my heart, you thought.Â
You gestured to the two chairs near you and followed behind Peter as you both sat down.Â
âOkay, Peter, can I record this interview?â
âYes.âÂ
âPerfect.â Peter smiled at those wordsâperfect.Â
âOkay, Spider-Man, I want to start by thanking you for your time. I know itâs very precious, so Iâll jump right in.â Peter gave a quick nod at your words.Â
âAre you aware that your latest fight cost the city 7,000 dollars in repair damages?â
Peter's jaw hung open, and his head shook suddenly, he almost gave himself whiplash. It was a hilarious sight.Â
âWhat!â he screeched.
âWhat?â you said back, unaffected.
"Iâno, no, I didn't know that," he said back, still in disbelief.
âOkay, so you are unaware of the damages your fighting inflicts on the city. Do you purposefully avoid the news so as to not know the extent to which your damages cause destruction and harm to the city? Peter shook his head violently and stood up.Â
âIâI don't understand. I thought you said you wanted an interview,â he stuttered out.
âCorrect. This is an interview.â You said, nodding your head slowly.Â
âNo. This is an interrogation!" You rolled your eyes at his dismay.Â
âIâm sorry, Peter. What did you expect? I mean, you know what the Bugle thinks of you.â You said scoffing.Â
âWell, what do you think of me?â He exasperatedly said.
You let out a deep sigh. Â
âWhat I think really isn't important here,â you spoke, lowering your head. Peter noticed. He thought back to how you told him about how your first day had gone, the morning before and how you were content getting coffee if it meant one day you'd be doing greater things.Â
âIt's important to me! I care what you think!â he exclaimed.Â
You scoff at his words before getting up as well. You took a glance at his pretty eyes and could feel your own swelling up in a salty ocean. You cursed yourself for ruining this.
âThis was dumb, Iâm sorry I wasted your time, I won't publish anything," you said, hanging your head low in defeat before grabbing the recorder and walking to the door,
a web suddenly grabbed your waist and with a flick of a wrist spun you back right around and into his arms,Â
you let out a small gasp that was cut short when Petersâ lips instantaneously met yours in a tender longing kiss. his tongue explored the inside of your mouth and his eyebrows furrowed as you thought he must be trying to swallow you whole, you hummed into the kiss, his hands come up to hold your face and you held them as they melt into your face, his lips moved delicately and desperately against yours, your knees felt like jello and your whole body leaned into him, kissing him back as a way of saying thank you for not letting me fall right now, his hands hesitantly pulled your lips away from his, inches from your face as he whispered,
âFineâŚletâs do it your way.â

Summary: Things have been hectic in Clark/Supermans life and it begins to take a strain on aspects of your relationship
Warnings: Mostly angst, allusions to smut, Clark is good at everything and itâs sad đ
Part Two
Word count: 1.2k
It's been a long two weeks.
You take the subway home together like always. There's a man playing guitar, strumming chords to Yellow by Coldplayâof course.
It's Clark's favorite song and the only one he knows how to play on the guitar.
The guitar you had bought him for Christmas because he had said once he'd always wanted to learn to play. Obviously, with all the chaos of Clark Kent and Superman's life, he doesn't really have time to learn the chords to any song.
But he learned the chords to Yellow, not because it was his favorite song, but because one time while you two were driving somewhere it had come on the radio and you said,
âI really like this song.â
And he liked that you really liked something he loved, so he took the time to learn it, indifferent to his tired and overworked hands. He learned it so that when he sang it to you, you would love the song.
And you did. God you did, you thought back to his voiceâyou'd never take Clark for a beautiful singer, but what do you know.
Anyways, now together you sat next to each other like alwaysâbut something was different, something's changed in the past two weeks.
Lex Luthor's conniving had reached its peakâthat, mangled with Perry's need for constant complete coverage and exploitation of it, had Clark tired, borderline miserable.
You could see it in his face.
Youâve seen it for the past two weeks, across the newsroom as he typed out another interview Perry âneeded,â you saw it on his face when he excused himself to stop another monster Lex had risen from the dead or whatever, and you saw it now on his face, looking into the distance, thighs grazing on the subway.
He let out a deep sigh, at least he was making a sound.Â
You had forgotten the last time you and Clark had had a conversationâa genuine conversation. It's in those two weeks you've come to realize you're missing some of the really little things he used to do, now that he'd been too exhausted to do anything other than sleep.
You realized you missed his laughter, deep yet light, when you'd watch your favorite movieâthe one he swears he doesn't like that much but always asks to put on during movie night.
His body pressed up on the back of yours in your kitchen when he'd engulf your small hands with his large ones, guiding them while you tried to cookâClarkâs a really good cook (no brainer).
His boyish grin at you when you turn to face him in the shower, oblivious the the fact he had even stepped in to begin with.
And just as much, you missed his bodyâhis large hands cupping your face and kissing you, bending down to reach you,
or when heâd tuck his head in the crook of your neck while he was inside you, slow and reverent, deep and raw.
The way heâd chant âI love yousâ throughout the day and really mean them.
He'd really mean it when he would say I love you leaving for work early,
he'd really mean it when he'd mouth I love you at his desk across yours at the newsroom,
he'd really mean it when you'd bite his shoulder and pull him in closer your legs wrapped around his torsoâwhen all he could manage to say was iloveyousomuch against your soft skin and muffled whimpers, heâd really mean it.
And when he'd say it after, in the bathtub when you'd sit on top of him bodies pressed against each other and he would just caress your back in the bubbly warm water.
I love you?
oh he especially meant it then.Â
Two weeks hadnât just the longest stretch you two had gone without really conversing, it was also the longest stretch of time the two of you had gone without really touchingâfeeling each other in that way.Â
And you'd be lying if you said you didn't really miss it, that you didn't yearn and have a need for it so desperate.
Fuck, you really hated yourself for that.
You thanked the rumble of the train
in your mind
for the unsteadiness it brought to you and Clark, making your thighs bump against each other in a constant accident.
You were so grateful for that bit of touch that you longed for, even if it was clothed.
You really hated that you were making this about you, but you couldn't stop thinking about why he hadn't talked to youâgenuinely spoken to youâabout the amount of stress he's been under lately. Was he angry with you?
No, he's not mad at you, but you still wondered, because the truth is, you couldnât tell by his expression if he was angry or not. His expressionâit was just borderline stern, almost cold, staring off into the distance. You wondered what he was thinking about, and that's when it started: your knee bouncing up and down uncontrollably, unintentionally, like his large hand when it suddenly covered itânot stopping it, just holding it in place, calming you instantly.
He dropped his head and turned his face towards youâthose sweet, sorrowful eyes you fell in love with.
âAre you okay?â
Fuck.
Of course he asks that. Of course the man whoâs been battling actual monsters is wondering if you're okay.
You open your mouth to speak, but you don't know what to sayânot in that moment, not on the spot. Clark would knowâif it was the other way around, he would know what to say on the spot to make you feel okay. But you're not him. So you close your mouth and nod.
A half smile emerges on your face; he gives the same one in return with a small squeeze of your knee, and you stay like that for a moment.
You look into his eyes, diving in; you think he's about to kiss you, you hope that he does. The man strumming guitar is now singing
Look at the stars, look how they shine for you, and everything you do.
You giggle. Clark smiles wholly now, dimples prominent.
âWhat?â he says, chuckling low, like a reverie you'd missed.
âThe songâyour favorite. I'm surprised you didn't notice,â you say, giggling, shaking your head and hiding your face in your hands.
His smile falters and he looks down⌠and suddenly his hand falls from your knee.
âOh, yeah. Right.â
Now your smile falls too. You let your hands fall slightly from your face, unveiling your eyes but still covering your nose and mouthâwhat just happened?
Gently, your hands finally fall to your lap. You gulp a breath caught in your throatâClark doesn't notice, or maybe he does and just doesn't care; you don't know.
You stare down and curl your fingers hard against your lap and turn your head back to himÂ
âClark?â you whisper out
And that's when the train stops. You're here. He doesn't respond, he just gets up and turns to you, stretching out his hand nodding to the open doors,
you take his hand and break his pitiful eye contact
staring into the cracks on the platform as you step off and it's quiet.
What just happened?Â
OK THATS IT. I am working on some requests right now please keep requesting <333
It had been a long day at the Daily Planet. Your boyfriend had been sending you cute little gifs and I miss youâs, every hour, even though you were just a few desks away.Â
Truth be told... It hadn't just been a long day, it'd been a long week, youâd had a mountain of work to get through and Superman seemed to be as busy as ever these days.
Given all the chaos of recent timesâŚ
You and Clark hadn't had sexÂ
in one full week,Â
seven whole days,Â
aaand, about 168 hours, but whoâs counting right? Right soooo it was no surprise thatâ
The walk home was anxiousâyou could feel a sense of tension between the two of you, and you knew he could feel it too.
He squeezed your hand ever so slightly, and you took your bottom lip in between your teeth and bit down, hard, almost hard enough to draw some blood, you felt oh so horribly feral for your boyfriend.Â
And the best worst part was that Clark could almost taste the ache in between your legs.Â
âSweetheart I can smell you,â he whispered into your ear, still holding your hand, crouching down ever so slightly so you'd catch the mischievous tone in his voice.
You cleared your throat and another sinister thought entered your mind,Â
he could probably sense the warmth down there as well and all you wanted was for him to take you, right there in that street corner dammit!
Gosh you must really be going insane,
But a week without Clark? Who wouldn't?Â
Once home, you lazily kicked off your heels and collapsed onto your bedâthe one you shared with Clarkâ letting out a deep sigh into the mattress. He followed not too long after, just like you did, face-planting onto the bed,
and for a moment
you both just lay there
in the comfortable silence.
Then he got up, walked toward the bathroom door adjacent to your bed, opened the door and lit a candle before starting the shower, focusing on the water running down.
You turned your face toward the open door of the bathroom and grinned, admiring the way he was checking to make sure the temperature of the water was just as hot as you liked it.
Perks of having a superhero boyfriend, you can turn the heat allll the way up... in more ways than one... Oh god you really were feral, helpless!
A shirtless clark startled you out of your thoughts and lifted you up effortlessly. You giggled as you let your head fall into the crook of his neckâwrapping your arms around his neck and your legs around his torso.
Walking into the bathroom, he casually shut the door behind him with his foot.Â
You pulled back to look at him him widening your eyes and exaggeratedly mouthing the word âwowâ
He chuckled in response and stared at you for a while, a glimmer of something in his eyes, his very pretty blue eyes.
The candle left the room in a soft glow and deep ambience
Suddenly he placed you on your feet stabilizing you against the cold bathroom wall.
The chill of the bathroom wall against your back made you shudder.
He looked down at you, actually having to crotch down a bit to reach you, cupping your small face with his large hands
Before smashing his lips onto yours, they moved fast and hungry, he had been yearning for them, his brows furrowed with passion as he nearly swallowed your mouth whole, tongue moving like revelry against yours, deep and hard.
You responded in tandem
kissing everywhere you could, and although he was still crocheting down to reach you, you still stood on your tippy toes, barely being able to reach him,Â
he pulled away as you tried to chase his kisses and then took a moment to catch your breath.Â
He looked at you as you did, taking the second to appreciate and love everything he had in that moment, your pupils shot, chest falling up and down rapidly like he had winded you, hair falling out of the bun it had been in, cheeks flushed with a soft tint of red, and lips swollen with the same color.Â
As for you,
I guess you could have been looking back at an almost reflection.
He too had his pupils blown, lipstick staining parts of his mouth, and chin, red.
His curls were messy, beautiful, and he had a faint blush creeping through his cheeks and neck.
he took his hands and placed them each on either side of your arms tracing up and down, peppering soft kisses all around your mouth, and around your face, before beginning to undress you,Â
slowly unbuttoning your blouse carefully, deliberately, knuckles grazing along your breasts so delicately.Â
âMmmm Clarkâ you breathed out
You whined at his slow motion, grabbing his wrists and pressing his open hands harshly against your breasts making yourself gasp and let out a soft moan in response, urging him to hurry.Â
"MmmâAh"
Clark gave your tits a small squeeze, and you a big grin and roll of his eyes before swatting your hands gently out of the way.
âLet me, please.â he cooed, eyebrows scrunching in a pleading motion.Â
âClark, hurry, Iâm cold,â you whined.
âShhh, okay okay.â he whispered, shrugging your blouse off your shoulders. At the sight of your breasts spilling out of your black lace bra, your plush red lips, and hair falling in front of your face, he paused and took a mental picture of youâŚ
For later...
Then stayed observing you for just a little bit longer whenâ
âClarkkk!â You squeal.Â
âWhy won't you let me take my time?â he pouts.
âPleaseee? I just really need you right now. Hmph Clark please!â you pouted, lip out and staring up at him with those doe puppy eyes you knew you could always use on him.
He raised an eyebrow in response and gave you a small smirk. He knew exactly what you were doing, but who was he to deny his sweet girl the pleasure she was so desperately craving any longer? You had been so patient after allâŚÂ
He swiftly removed the rest of your clothes taking extra special care of you bra, once removing it, kissing each of you peeks gently and three times each before kneeling down to your panties sliding them down and over your ass and then taking his large hands and placing them each on either side of your thighs
still on his knees
spreading them open a small bit, before placing kisses on your inner thighs gently, slowly, memorizing each part of you, just as he had done a million times over, and just as he would do a million times over and over again.
His idea of Heaven.
You noticed something then, he was staring at you, longingly, and beautifully.
Truthfully he looked adorable, like a puppy, like all he ever wanted to do in that moment was make you feel perfect.
And that's exactly what he wanted to do, and exactly what he would do.
He kept your eye contact as he placed a delicate yet longing kiss on your pussy, sooo perfect, just perfect, it made you shudder in response, mouth parted.
He got up suddenly still maintaining eye constant, except now you were the one who had to look up at him.
His hand came down and around the back of your neck before placing a soft kiss on your lips,
OneÂ
TwoÂ
Three.
You wrapped your legs around his torso and he got the memo.
Enough with the formalitiesÂ
He walked you over and into the shower, you placed your cheek onto his collarbone, sighing out from the pleasure of the hot water,
âIt's perfect, thank you Clarkâ
âOf course babyâ he murmured, pressing a kiss to your forehead.
He cradled your head with his hand as he gently placed you against the shower wall sliding his other hand down your stomach and lingering right where you needed him most before cupping your pussy and moving his hand back and forth before swiping his thumb over your swollen bud.
You gasped in surpriseÂ
 âAh Clark!â
âShhh, I know, I know I got you, I got you babyâÂ
he moved his thumb in circular motions at a slow pace before gradually speeding upÂ
âYou like that? Tell me how much you do babyâ
âYes, yes, yes Clark!â
âDon't stop, don't stop, please pleaseeeâ he kissed you then, open mouth and fully with everything he had,
âI'll never stop I promise babyâ
And God did he keep his promise,
The night blended into a mesh of hours of pleasure and indiscernible sounds,
noted Clark gave you downtime when you needed it, tending to your every need and giving you water in between rounds even when you guys were long gone from the shower, and the bed, and the floor, and the shower again.
Definitely making up for all that lost time.
AN: Having trouble committing to writing full on smut, will try to get out of my own head about it ahh, lmk if you have any tips!!
