Ladybug gets paranoid that someone on the team might be chrysalis in disguise and comes up with 5000 safety measures to counter it, but all it does is set the rest of the team on edge and make them uncomfortable

Still thinking about mlb chareter design and how they kinda made Marc the best and how im pretty sure it was on accident.
To clarify, im not trying to say Rooster Bold should be your favorite, or even that you should think the design is*good* What im saying here is Marc did the best at concealing his civilian identity. (Especially with the pre-season six design)
(I have thoughts on the changes but that's probably it's own post lol)
a large part of that came from his sclera and iris both changing colors, as eye color is more important then hairstyles in facial recognition, but the hair changing colors and style dose help.
The big thing is in addition to the eye color change, he also got a mask when usually it's one or the other.
(Mayura got that mini-vail but it didn't cover anything, and she and Arogos both got the eye-and-skin treatment, but that was inplace of a mask. Chat got a eye-change and a mask, but his hair stayed the same style and color which mitigated the effect)
And for most of the cast if a character gets a hairstyle change, it usually stays a similar color (Max got a color and style change but he's only wearing sunglasses to cover his face so...)
Marcs kinda unique for getting so many design elements changed drastically, when most of the others only really get one thing changed in any major way.
This would make him look like one of the more competent heroes, but the whole in-canon "quantum masking" thing negates that, which is why it seems to be basically an accident.
Somthing else i do think is intresting is how Marc has the miraculous in camouflage mode. Because of the basically non-existent budget of penalteam, we didn't get the rooster in custom camouflage until s6
We know the Rooster was defaulted to a ring, (and from out-of-show material it's confirmed it still is) But we know that it's possible to change what the miraculous looks like, and we see that Marc also has a feather earring in one ear, which is probably just meant to be a wink wink nudge nudge for the audience, but could be interpreted in canon as a decoy, as it looks more like a bird-related piece of jewelry then the actual bird-related piece of jewelry.
(Side note, i really like how both the bird miraculous' default to formal wear, thats fun)
TLDR, i'm delusional and Marc is the best character even when the show runners aren't trying <3
Dose anyone know if the Miraculous team ever made a statment on why in the season 6 intro marc has makeup on both eyes but in the show proper its only on one?
(It's also just different makeup between the credits and the actual show?? Like done in a different style?)
After Nath transforms and joins the fight, he tells Ladybug that the Akuma is 'in her earing, under the helmet,' but there was no way for Caprikid to know that. (Becase he "wasn't there")
We know the the holder of the Butterfly Miraculous knows what's going on through who they Akumatized and the only other person who was right there when it happened beside Nath was Marinette, and its not really a thing that the Miraculous hides your gender, so Lila wouldn't think its her-
If you really wanted to, you could maybe make the argument for Marc saw, or one of the others having seen from the bridge?? but Marc was already brainwashed, and there was only a few other people actively watching, so theoretically, shouldn't Lila be able to guess who Caprikid is based on him knowing where the Akuma is? My point is, based on the end scene, if Lila is going to find out his identity, she probably already did.
(Like, I know that that kind of thing happens all the time in miraculous and I'm probably overthinking this, but we're ignoring that because overanalyzing things is my hobby lol)
So my theory is, that the 'true face' line is a referenceing the secret counsel thing.
I don't thing Naths is going to betray them or anything, but I think his Mother is either on the Counsel, or a 'Shadow' to someone on it like Natalie, and the line was about Lila trying to determine Naths place in all of that, whether or not he knew about it, if its going to betray ladybug if he dose, etc.
I think he definitely has no clue about it, and THAT whole reveal is a end-of-season thing (probably season 7 at the earliest lol)
I also have some thoughts on how that plays into the 'Miraculous war' theory, but that's for another time
I genuinely believe that if Evillastrator and Reverser had interacted, it would have ended with Reverser throwing Evilillastrator face-first into a brick wall.
