a lot of people dont realize that trans youth tend to have a higher than average amount of emotional control and independence because it's incredibly fucking hard for them to find people to look up to for advice or guidance regarding a lot of things so they have to do it all on their own and become their own guide

one ofmy friends wasnt at school for like 3 weesks anjd i asked her why and she was diagnosed with hardcore depression... and shes getting help for it which is good, and then we had a big discussion about how shittey attitudes in society are toward mental illness and being trans (shes like one of three people who knows about The Full Trans irl) im very calm around her i hope shecomes back soon.. im calm she shared her mental problemes with me... i feel safe in her zone
