My three week trip with with some international friends of mine! We toured around the Eastern Cape and much of the Wild Coast as well. This was definitely a good way to end the semester. (Bear with me, though, it's my first video.)
Song: Snare by Cosmo's Midnight feat. Wild Eyed Boy Program used: Final Cut Pro X Camera: GoPro Hero 4 Silver
Chintsa, South Africa. This backpackers is called Buccaneers. Definitely one of the nicest and most beautiful backpackers we stayed at.
This is the backpackers we stayed at called Coffee Shack in Coffee Bay. Probably one of the best backpackers I’ve been to.
Hole in the Wall in Coffee Bay. The hole was formed by hundreds of millions of years of waves crashing against the wall, eroding the softer rock in the middle.
Drakensburg Hike
St Lucia! The land of the hippos.
Blyde River Canyon and Potholes. The 3rd largest canyon in the world.
God’s Window and Blyde River part 1. Incredible views we got to see in Graskop, South Africa
Kruger National Park part 2
Kruger National Park! Other than the fact that we saw trees for about 70% of the time, it was cool because we got to see many animals relatively up close in their natural habitat.
This is our backpackers in Swaziland called Lidwala. Maybe one of the nicest backpackers I’ve ever been in. Everybody was so nice, and everything was incorporated into nature with bridges over streams, gravel trails throughout the backpackers, and beautiful plants and trees to hide you from the sun.
Mbabane, Swaziland was home to the most friendly people I’ve ever met in South Africa. This part of the trip was definitely a highlight.
Another pitstop backpackers on our way to Swaziland! This one was called monkey business.
That parrot was just as evil as a parrot I used to have.
This is the Bloemfontein accommodation called El Shaddai. It was very quiet, but pretty nice. This was the pit stop before we got to Lesotho. Very hot, very dry, and nothing is out there.
Just some pictures to show how huge and vast Africa can be... and to show how small our car was haha. This was the beginning of our 3 week road trip throughout the eastern cape. (Bloemfontein, Lesotho, Swaziland, Kruger National Park, Graskop, St Lucia, Durban, Drakensburg, Coffee Bay, Chintsa) (December 2015)
