Noelle sat there at the foot of her bed like she did every year. Her mother was out delivering gifts and her father well he shifted into his wolf and went with her mother and her grandfather “Come on why can’t I shift? Dad can and so can Mika it’s so unfair.” Noelle said out loud she is a Claus yes she doesn’t have that last name but her mother and grandfather do. She opened her palm as her light snow flakes floated out, her Claus gift was to be able to make snow, but her White gift is supposed to be able to shift into a wolf.
“NOELLE GET DOWN HERE!” her grandmother called “Shittersprinkles I must have forgotten to feed Bella” she whispered to herself slowly rising from her bed before she left her room. As she was walking towards the kitchen her anxiety rose higher than before. Her grandmother never sounds angry unless an elf or Noelle mess up bad but Noelle couldn’t wrap her head on what she did wrong this time around ‘I miss Tysuma and Mallory’ Noelle thought to herself as she thought of her older siblings she walked into the kitchen and looked down at the floor.
Next thing she knew is she was engulfed into a hug “Hey sib” when she finally looked up she seen her older twin sisters “Ty Ty? Mal?” she asked blinking her eyes once more “We heard our sib might shift tonight so we had to come home” Tysuma said as Noelle collapsed onto the floor. After she collapsed she felt some sharp pain that caused her harm “Girls I think it is happening now move and get the herbs.” her grandmother said as her sisters ran to do what their grandmother asked of them. When they came back Noelle was already half way shifted “Don’t fight it Noe” Mallory said to her younger sister.
Out of the whole family Noelle was the only one who was a later shifter in their pack. Once Noelle consumed the herbs the pain from the shifting came to a stop. When Noelle opened her eyes the room looked different to her “Noey you are so unique” Tysuma said when Noelle looked at her paws one was green and the other was red “A Christmas wolf that is very rare.” her grandmother said.
A Christmas wolf...?
