Easter in Asia
While I wondered how I will spend good Friday and Easter this year in another country...I was surprised! G0d is good :)
Got invited to read the Easter story in another language to some children. Egg hunts. Hot cross buns. Pumpkin soup. Prayer.

missing everyone...
this week’s cafe hunt was lovely! set up in a warehouse like shop near chinatown, Paddy’s lantern is not an asian cafe. instead it serves good coffee, (no latte art) but the food is delicious esp because of the sourdough. The pumpkin sourdough from Mylor’s bakery, is the yummiest sourdough i have tried in Ade & Syd! tick for Ade :)

why do i always have to work on a Sunday when it is not my shift!!! urgh!!! need to be super firm the next time! ahhhhhh!!!!
Red light
ran a red light today, too distracted…and couldn't decide to jam brakes or not… =_= $450 fly away…zz...

Day off: went cafe hunting, read the bible, walk around river torrens, picked up fruits at shops near my house, washed my car, cleaned the house...
...
Used to like self time, but now :( I miss my syd hsem8s & church friends :'(….no one to go cafes with…no one to go to church tgt...no sleepovers…no chats on things that matter in life…gg to church! (have to work till 9pm tmr =_=)

Sat day off, the hunt for nice adelaide cafes begins with "UR cafe"

- food is however, not as nice as it looked, found it a little too bland

1st week in the new place
Today is the highlight of my week :)
I went visiting churches today, Holy Trinity NE and Holy Trinity city. Even though I don't know many ppl, I felt comfortable. A sense of warmth knowing that these ppl whom i don't know yet, are believing in the same Lord Jesus, they are God's church, Jesus's body.
Also got to catch up with some familiar focus faces :) Hearing their experiences here, how church is like and their tips for intern year. Aw, can't thank God enough for the family in Christ, am feeling much better now :)
Now, I have to battle the heat, oh dear…gonna be above 40 degrees everyday for the next 2 weeks…this is crazy! Am already burnt!...

Greeted by a house full of dead creepy crawlies….well at least they are all dead :/
All the petrol in e car evaporated i think, went to pump petrol and bought groceries. ntg happen on the road phew…
The house is in a mess, makes me want to clean and unpack at the same time…can’t decide how to unpack my stuff zzz…
found out the entrance accommodation overcharged me! drove to bank to dispute the charge...have to wait 6 weeks now..
