So I was watching Blockers with my aunt and cousin and sister the other day and it was (first of all) one of the funniest movies I have ever seen, 10/10 completely reccommend. 

But on to the main point: 

There’s this character called Sam and (to put it short) she’s a little lesbian baby and I want to protect and throughout the film she is crushing on this Asian girl Angelica. 

What you notice about Angelica here is that she wearing a CAPE

And in the scene where (spoiler whoops) Sam finally comes out to her friends they … they get her a cape??? It’s made of streamers but it’s still a cape.

okay but we need to talk about how the apocalypse probably wouldn’t have even happened if Luther had had a shred of empathy and realized what Vanya did to Alison was an accident and she was horrified by it but noooo lets just lock her up in her childhood prison and prove to her that no matter what she would never be good enough for her siblings and THATS what pushed her over the edge, that realization that nobody, NOT EVEN HER OWN FAMILY, who had (somewhat) banded together for each other, would never be there for her or love her as an equal. She was literally told her entire life that she was worth nothing compared to her siblings because she didn’t have powers, and then when it turns out she DOES have powers and still she’s seen as an outsider of course she panics and feels hopeless and trapped so she loses sight of everything except for the one thing in her life she has been working towards for years and managed to achieve herself because all she ever wanted was to be special and I just hate that none of her siblings (even Alison) tried to see her point of view or treated her as a person deserving of the same inclusion and respect as everyone else
