Art in the Environment week 12: Principle

Principles: Art is about speaking the truth and speaking from the heart without being fake or a liar. It is something that an artist holds close to themselves. Artist care about the environment and that what bring art together and it is also what bring artists together as one. When artist speak their experiences, and speak the truth about what they believe in, it brings art to form and to life.

Art in the Environment week 11: Principle

Principles: When an artist is creating something that should consider where they are. What land are they on? What environment surrounds them? Considering the environment around them represents respect to the art form. In a way, the artwork or the art in general is something that gives back to the public. The environment should be respected and loved and it is the artist duty to show how much they care.

Art in the Environment week 10: Principle

Principles: Artist should create art that they believe in. it should move them in a way only the artist would understand. Creating art is easy but creating art with purpose, meaning or concerns about an issue or topis and allowing it to have a voice is what matters the most. This way the artwork would have an impact on the environment rather its social, economic, political or ecological. The artwork should also drive for a better future for humans and non-humans.

Week 9: Exploration The first image shows pictures of the baby kookaburra which I wouldn’t be able to capture myself. I may use the images from the video for my video to show the beginning. http://www.wiresnr.org/kookaburra.html The second video is from YouTube. I would love to include the Australian song into my video because I remember having to learn the song in primary school and the image used in the following video was cartoon which is what I would like to create. Something like a cartoon base imagination mixed with the real self-taken images. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=p2VitpGRalw The third video image has the kookaburra laugh audio. When I sit in my No-Place the first thing I hear before noticing the bird is the kookaburra laugh. It’s so loud and can be annoying when you’re trying to get a peaceful time. Week 9: Reflection

Week 9 was the most enjoyable week for me because I enjoy looking at artwork and thinking “this can’t be a painted or create by a human being”. The historical artwork that I’ve posted for week 9 is beyond just a pretty picture. The artwork is called Ashurbanipal lion hunting which can be found at the British museum but its origin is from the Northern Iraq (Babylon) where I come from. Looking at the history behind it and the fine details left me wanting to go to the UK and see it. The artwork itself include a lion which is “Hosting the Non-Human”. Week 9 has allowed me to use my imagination and creativity to push boundaries and my thinking for my final assignment.

Other species within the environment such as animals and insect contribute to the human form of expression through art and it allows humans to experience different perception by pushing boundaries. Including animals in the art is the environment pushes boundaries with exploration of the living. The more the artist engages with the “others” the other relating an artwork can be.

Week 9: ARTWORK OF ART HISTORICAL Ashurbanipal Lion Hunting Relief - The detailed relief stands 63.5 cm (25 inches) tall. - From the Neo-Assyrian Period (1000-612 BC). - Excavated at the site of ancient Nineveh (Kuyunjik) by H. Rassam about 1847. - This stone panel was is currently at the British Museum. - Nineveh (Kuyunjik) was Ashurbanipal's capital city (Northern Iraq).

Week 8: Reflection

During week 8 the reading and the video content all included the world on imagination and the world of fiction. The historical artwork I posted this week shows how a German artist combined the two together to create meaningful artwork. The digital artwork spoke about fictional war machines and the early 20th century Polish villages. Jakub the German artist is well known for his mixture of fiction and non-fiction digital artwork. Another important aspect of art in the environment that I learnt in week 8 was that artist dig deep into their imagination to create an artwork that is both important and loving to themselves.

Week 8: ARTWORK OF ART HISTORICAL "Digital paintings created by Germany-based conceptual artist Jakub Ró?alski. In each piece, the artist produced a creative narrative of historical fiction. He used Photoshop to blend large, fictional walking war machines, or mechs, into rural climates from early 20th-century Polish villages".

Art in the Environment week 8: Principles

Art in the environment will always continue to change with time to manipulate. This is because art is powerful in the form of creating something memorable and loving. Artist should dig into their imagination and challenge viewers (the audience) to think outside their comfort zone and think with their imaginations.
