You didn't miss much. There's an abundance of cats on the beach, a couple of guy running around doing a splash fight I think, and a bipedal deer fell on their face a little while ago. How was your shopping trip?

Good! Krill got a bunch of fun furniture for her new house, Wisteria is apparently totally loaded and paid for a bunch of stuff just because; and I have so many cute new stuff! Wanna see?

I'm happy your Krill friend was able to find things she likes, and Dr. Wisteria having that much money makes sense considering their use of gothic magicks.

And of course I want to see what you got! Hehe!

Multi rearranges one of their towels to act as a barrier between the sandy ground and his newly purchased stuff for a proper show and tell.

I have this big Cinnamorrol plushie and this cute new hair bow from Claire's; and then from Hot Topic I gooot this flower crown Krill got me, a new bag, heart shaped, obviously; six new pins to decorate said bag - five enamel with three in little blind boxes and one Hatsune Miku button; a cute skirt, and...

Multi trails off. There's about six more things left in the bag, but he seems far more melancholic about these purchases.

A bunch of Sailor Moon stuff.

Oh that's what that things name is! I only really know Hello Kitty, Kuromi and Melody. It's so cute and floppy though! And you'll look amazing in that bow!

Jenkins notices how Multi isn't as enthusiastic about the Sailor Moon merch, which... is a definite surprise for him. He reaches out, gently putting his hand on the one Multi has to support himself on the sand.

... I'd love to see them, if that's okay. You don't have to show me the Sailor Moon stuff if you're not up for it.

I got this rhinestone hoodie, which isn't very helpful on the beach, but when winter comes, I wanna look cute. Then there's this mirror compact, which looks like the Crystal Star. It's definitely not as heavy as the real one, I can tell you that much, heh...

Then I have these new accessories. There's this bracelet advent calendar which, uh, I'm not using like an advent calender. I'm just taking them all out when we get home. Then there's this necklace blind box. I dunno, most of the stuff there was blind boxes, it felt right to get one.

Then, um... they were selling these air fresheners which looks like a little Polaroid. It's got all the Inner Scouts plus Chibiusa and I don't really have any of my pictures with them anymore so... I got this.

And the last item... is... um...

Jenkins listens, not wanting to interrupt Multitude as he talks. His hand still in the fallen angel's, squeezing it reassuringly. He has a focused look in his eyes as he moves a bit closer to Multi, his arm wrapping around the rabbit scout and pulling them into a quick hug when things look like they've gotten a bit rougher on Multi.

He pulls away just enough to let Multi know he has room to breathe and do what he needs to, but it's obvious Jenkins is curious about what made his boyfriend pause.

Multi sniffles, needing to take a moment to breathe so he doesn't start crying on a public beach. But after a few moments grounding himself, taking in the sunshine and his boyfriend's presence, he's able to pull out the last item.

... It's a locket set. The tag called it a 'best friend' set, but... it's Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask themed, one of the greatest love stories in history, it's so obviously not for best friends, heheh...

And well, I saw it and I just... I dunno, something about the timing made me think... I can't ask them for their blessing anymore, but maybe it's a sign, y'know? It was the last one on the rack and everything... i-if you'd want to share it, I mean! If it's too weird I can always return it.

... The Sailor Moon one. I was always closer with my moms than my dad, anyway. Like, he was a good dad and he loved me and trained me and stuff but we never clicked... I think you two would've gotten along much better, if I'm being honest, heheh.

Jenkins gently takes the gold locket and takes it out of the carboard, unclasping it and fixing it around Multi's neck as he makes sure to not get it tangled in his long hair.

Multi stalls for just a few seconds to put the other locket around Jenkins' neck, carefully making sure the pendant rest in the center of his chest with a soft smile. He lets himself dive into the nostalgia of memories he hadn't spoken about in forever as he speaks.

I was born in an initiative to bring forth a new generation of Sailor Scouts, and as such each of them bestowed a gift which God weaved into my very being. And when I finally bloomed, I was born not the strong magical warrior they expected but as a squishy little kit, and I needed to be raised. Y'know, Usagi always told me the story about how I was so small, nobody would let her hold me in fear she'd drop me, heheh... but, I'm getting ahead of myself. Since I was born from all of their essences, it was decided they were all my mothers and had equal custody.

So, I was raised by the nine Sailor Scouts: Usagi, Ami, Rei, Makoto, Minako, Setsuna, Haruka, Michiru, and Hotaru. Though, honestly, with how young Hotaru was when I came into the picture most would've called her my sister... but by the time I realized this, I was already calling her mom just like the others.

They were... they are everything to me. They were always so kind to me, so patient. Rei was the one mostly in charge of my training, but they all pitched in. They taught me everything I know about being a solider and a magical girl from the moment I was born. If even one of them was missing in my life, I don't know if I would've turned out the same...

... It sounds like they all cared for you immensely, Multi. Being made out of bits of their essence, it makes sense that you'd be as strong as you are. I know you said you weren't a warrior, but you have such a deep well of care and strength that I think it's better that you weren't born as a sort of magical heaven weapon.

I'm happy they helped you become who you are... It shows that they wanted you to be a person rather than a soldier. You mentioned you weren't close to your father... I'm guessing that was Mamoru, considering who you listed as your mothers.

Yep. He was kind, brave and had a taste for the dramatic, but he had a certain coldness to him. It took him a while to warm up to me, and when he did, I was already attached to the hip with my mothers... I never asked him how he felt about that, but I don't think he ever held it against me.

... Maybe he just didn't know how to really react to it? Being a father I mean.

He sits back in the sand, his attentions solely on Multitude.

Jenkins leans his head over, letting it rest on Multitude's as he takes a moment to think. He takes a deep breath, exhaling through his mouth as he figures now is better than never to bring it up.

My father was... a knight, or at least he acted as a knight. He was the son of a king, and he lived in exile from the kingdom he was supposed to be born into since we was... created out of wedlock. He ended up seeing my mother, a chamber maid for the castle his lord caretook.

They... well, I was an accident. He wasn't ready to be a father, and he was very distant. I was never good with a sword, so he left me with my mother and left after I was six.

That... sucks. I'm sorry... what about your mother? Was she any kinder?

She was, she actually stuck by me for a lot of my life up until she became too old to walk. She even supported me when I went into learning magic. Mother would sneak books from the lord's study every so often, and when I was old enough for apprenticeship she sent me off to learn under the local midwife and medicine woman, Lanora.

... It was a lot like having two mothers after that, haha!

Lanora did care for me a lot, it was to the point where she helped me realize I has so adapt at magic that I could outshine her own use of it. She ended up having me work with her old master, and then... well, my mother passed.

There’s a map of the mall over here, according to this, there’s something called a furniture aquarium upstairs next to… omb there’s a Claire’s!!! We totally need to visit!

Oooo maybe they'll have water resistant furniture! Either that or a bunch of those little plastic divers and bubblers hehe. Claire's is the one with all the preteen accessories, right? It looks like we can stop there after the furniture aquarium^_^

And after Claire's, we can stop by the food court! It's the perfect plan!!
