That's my friend away into surgery for his transplant now.

He sent me one last text before he was put under saying “i love you”. I just started bawling when i read that.

Just registered as an organ donor, should have done it a long time ago.

My best friend has been called in for his transplant. The kidney’s are from a cadaver organ donation. We think the cadaver was a young person, very early teens, it’s tragic for someone to lose their life so young but through their death they are giving my best friend the most beautiful gift, a chance to live!

This young stranger has given us so much happiness and such a high chance at joy and more importantly time. Years and years, a whole new life for our loved one. This person’s memory, though we have never met and sadly never will, will live on with all of us. Thank you.

My twenty one year old (adult?) brother was entrusted to take my place for this weeks food shop, a terrible mistake! So off he went with my card to go food shopping today. A shopping to last two people and three dogs for two weeks. Spends £80 of my money on food for himself and the dogs. Didn’t get me a thing to eat. I guess i am a plant- human hybrid that lives through the process of photosynthesis in my brothers eyes. An interesting development, i have to admit. Lesson learned. —Never let brother out of the house. His idiocy may induce the next great famine somehow.
