Kim in his 20s?

I think he'd be a bit more casually punk than how I've drawn him here but I wanted to draw him in something more classically 70s for this. Still tried to convey some of that edge in his fashion and his interest in pilot clothing (combat boots, aviator glasses, leather jacket). Also, I think it's possible he may just have short hair at this time period, maybe it's a bit counter-culture, but I'm kind of attached to the fringe as weird as it looks on him. I definitely believe the bell bottoms are an exception for him and wouldn't be exactly his style even back then (not very functional pants, not a lot of pockets), he'd have exactly one pair of them. I just think its silly for him to have an embarrassing reminder of the 30s hidden in his wardrobe :-)

I want to draw the Skills for a comic, like them floating above Harry’s head arguing etc. but some of them are so hard to draw removed from their portraits. Like electrochemistry with his weird arms or perception who is like an abstract form

In my first disco playthrough, the horrific neck tie wasn’t talking to me. now on my 2nd play though it is, and it scares the hell out of me every time it starts up 😭

Whatever you do, dont think about the fact that robert kurvitz said that kim was designed to find harry funny. Dont think about how kim purposefully makes himself look as boring as possible to clutch onto any dignity from the other racist pigs sorry i mean cops and then he gets paired up with a new partner who just finds him the coolest person on the planet on the first night they have together. Dont think about how harry literally sees kim with a halo over his head every time he talks to him.

Also, never ever think about how harrys biggest trauma is being abandoned by the person he loved the most and then getting paired up with a person so loyal to his partner that no matter how bad of a person he is, no matter how many bad choices he made, he still gets on his knees in a panic, forgetting about the danger that could also get kim himself shot as well, to try to stop harry from bleeding out in the tribunal. Do not think about it. Do not think about it.
