Bizhan - Yusuf’s dad. Alive. Strained relationship but getting better. Not twisted from anything. Mostly inspired by a trope I like; gentle giant that looks intimidating, doesn’t talk much. Fell in love with a member of divine lineage.

Chandni - Yusuf’s mom. Unaccounted for. Not twisted from anything. The simple, chunky jewelry was taken from Jasmine but not much else. Disneys Dead Mom™️ trope but I’m not saying she is dead. It’s a possibility though. Divine lineage.

Yusuf - twisted from the Cave of Wonders. He’s the face/head of a theocracy. I built a fictional religion, god and origin around the cave. It’s still a bit of a WIP.

Yusuf - tries to remain completely neutral with people initially, though he wants to see good in people. He gets proven wrong a lot. Initially distrusts people in positions of power (the rich and noble) and is not blind to the irony of it. Reluctant respect for nobility.

Dion - majority of his life was family oriented, he’s indifferent to everyone outside of that at first. Respects people who put in work and by default people in power. He’s nice and very easy to get along with despite the typical first impression people have of him.

Ashlan - dislikes everyone equally at first and is distrustful. Not a fan of people who spend their time in front of cameras. Fame avoidant. Default respect for hard workers, underdogs and royalty (it’s very “old school” respect, surface level, keep your opinions to yourself). Lives in briar valley.
