Currently invested in Jade being a little freaked out by Kalim. Like Kalim thinks it’s a little funny so he leans into it and Jade is mostly just like “how is this a real person. I’ve met so many humans by now…why is this one…like this???”

Jade and Kalim are trying to out weird each other and Kalim is winning somehow.

But it’s never like shit that’s actually that odd but most slightly off putting and it adds up. Less off putting in an ominous way and more off putting in a silly way.

Jade: why yes it’s common in the coral sea for children to eat mildly poisonous plants for dares.

Kalim: woah how dangerous! I mean I used to consume deathly amounts of poison everyday but that was just for educational purposes

Jade:…I beg your pardon

Kalim: oh no need to beg it’s fine. I miss the taste of (poison that definitely should’ve killed him) sometimes. Isn’t that funny?

Jade: Yes…

(This one is more just Jade being shocked at Kalim lowkey one upping or matching his freak. I can’t think of a different scenario right now)((it usually would be less grim and more confusing than this))

Jade wants this little specimen of a guy so bad. He wants him bro. I’m telling you. Like they are lowkey messing with each other and also one time Kalim slapped him when he was being really rude and it made his nose bleed and Jade thought about it for a month.

Listen man Kalim is not the free of sin here. He can tell he’s flustering Jade he just thinks it’s cute. Whenever he tells people about how nice and cute Jade is(he’s fucking with them a little bit) he enjoys watching peoples faces morph from distress.

One thing I really liked about this new event is that they showed us Kalim's abilities 🥹 Martial arts?! And he's really good at it

So that’s one of the few things they actually let him learn... And they almost denied him even that

I understand his mom's concern (I love her so much for caring about Kalim like that 🩷 it’s great knowing there’s someone who loves him so deeply) but for someone constantly in danger like her son, it was obviously necessary for him to learn skills to defend himself, you know?

Because we have to accept that in Kalim's life, martial arts (sadly) would be more than just a fun activity and Kalim might well have resorted to them in dangerous situations (this isn't mentioned, it's just an assumption)

Anyway, I love it when twst shows us what Kalim is capable of~ (and finally they drop that habit of theirs of making him look like a fool and a source of comic relief 🫩)
