As for our work and our business, my brother and I had a university cafeteria, and we had a dream of being able to provide the best food to the students in our city.

At Al-Aqsa University, we worked together hand in hand to make this possible, and just as it was starting to happen, a war broke out and shattered all our dreams. We woke up to the nightmare of war, seeing the university destroyed. At that moment, we were desperate, helpless, and lost.

Hello friends, I am Abdullah Salem Abdullah Jaafar, 26 years old, a graduate of the University College with a degree in Information Technology - Multimedia. I used to have a beautiful family; I’m married and have four children, and my wife is pregnant.

I previously worked at a multimedia company, but because of the war, I lost my job, my home, my car, and now I have no place to live or work.

During the war, we were forced to evacuate more than four times. Each time, we had to leave everything behind without taking any of our personal belongings.

I live in northern Gaza.

We were displaced to southern Gaza, then to Deir al-Balah, then to Rafah, and now we live in an uninhabitable tent that is not suitable for living.

My daughter Rahaf was martyred in the war due to Israeli airstrikes. Now I have Iman, Malak, Basel, and my wife is in her seventh month of pregnancy.

Please, I am in desperate need of your help just to provide food and water for my children.

I lost my home and we have become homeless."

Honestly, without shame…

My clothes and my children’s clothes are no longer usable. For two whole years, we have only had two outfits that we alternate between washing one so we can wear the other. We have no third option.

The fabric has worn out from overuse, endless washing, and constant exposure to the sun, until our appearance no longer suits us nor protects us, neither from the summer heat nor the winter cold.

My children’s clothes are a tragedy on their own torn, stained with marks that never go away, unworthy of innocent children who deserve to live with dignity like all the other children in the world. Meanwhile, the markets are filled with low-quality clothing being sold at unimaginable prices, far beyond our reach.

This is not just about clothing. It is about the daily feeling of deprivation, as if we are cornered and stripped of even the most basic rights. The occupation deliberately leaves us broken, even in our appearance. This is not life it is a daily humiliation, a stripping away of our humanity.

I appeal to you today to stand by me and support my fundraising campaign, so that we may be able to buy clothes that cover our bodies, restore our dignity, and allow my children to live with a little more humanity. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a huge difference for us.
