Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about the series Dark it’s truly one of the best things I’ve ever watched. It’s been years, yet I still find myself thinking about it

@mercining and i have a little message in regards of so much of livejournal's history straight up disappearing:

in the wake of ai slop taking over the web and pillars of internet history disappearing without rhyme or reason, please take a minute to archive what you love locally (a reliable hard drive) as well as onto the Internet Archive (Wayback Machine). we're actively losing human-made forums, posts, art, and much more to make room for fucking ai.

so download the movie, the video, the game, the fanfic, the tumblr post, the news article, etc... with the unstoppable rise of corporate greed, the only thing you can trust is yourself.

and if you can afford to, you should donate to the Internet Archive to help them carry on their vital work.

They're an entirely free-to-use, wonderful resource that we cannot lose.

I really wanted to thank you all for the hundreds of messages of support and affection you’ve sent me over the past few days!! I’ve been incredibly touched. My graphic novel Charlie is coming along well seeing your support for my personal and professional projects is absolutely wonderful and brings me immense happiness. I realize that some people will never stop acting as if I were their personal enemy, even though I don’t even know them, and I suppose that’s something you eventually get used to with age yeah? Thank you also for the many stories you’ve shared, they helped me understand that this wasn’t a personal attack, but rather a widespread issue that has been going on for years. I won’t say any more about that, as it’s time for positivity to return. Truly, thank you for your love and support, you are all amazing. I can’t wait to show you the rest of my work and for you to be able to buy Charlie’s disco in bookstores. I love you all!!

I wanted to archive a few fics from 2003/2004 from LiveJournal, but it looks like there was a purge of very old posts, I can't find much anymore. I'm so happy I managed to grab about twenty of them before everything disappeared OMG

Friends, I’m posting this message only on Tumblr: I will no longer publish MCR related fanart publicly. I simply can’t handle the constant negativity anymore. I’ve been posting comics and illustrations for free for a year. I loved sharing them with you, but I’m tired of the negativity. I’ve discussed this with many artists and creators in the fandom, many have had enough or have simply left. I no longer have the emotional energy to deal with all this, so I’m stepping away. It brings me no joy to see people getting angry over an album remaster or getting insulted because I didn’t (or any other artist) draw Gerard well enough. I’ve grown alongside you for a year, it was great!! but I’m tired of dealing with constantly angry people. My comics will remain available for free in PDF format, as will the Better Life site. It was a great experience. I might come back once things have settled down and the atmosphere is calmer. Thanks again! I love you all!

If I were incredibly rich, I’d print out every fic from AO3 to create a library where people could come and read them. That way, even if internet disappears, fanfiction won't + there will be shelves for every tag and every ship. In the basement, there will be y/n stories for the daring
