what's the deal with sairgee? why did the creator remove anything related to it?
I would say probably for the same reason that anyone would remove something old of theirs from the internet - it’s too old, it’s embarrassing or they feel that it no longer represents them. (I truly hope it wasn’t due to harassment; I never heard about that kind of thing happening). I started reposting sairgee stuff to this blog several years ago when it was still a meme only because I realized no one else had the URL, but I kept posting submissions because I know how it is to have something old and embarrassing of yours passed around and thought it would be fun to celebrate old OCs in a way that felt a little more positive and silly so I kept posting the memes. I also appreciate the novelty of getting a submission every month or two just because I regularly forget this blog exists.
I might let this blog go quietly soon along with discussion of sairgee purely because I don’t want to be the last remnant of an embarrassing period in someone’s life - and if I’m asked to take it down I definitely will.
But, to be honest? I’ve enthusiastically made (and shared) stuff far more embarrassing than a goth spongebob OC and I’ve always liked her a lot. It’s cute to see people are still thinking about something random and funny like sairgee after this long
