Hey everyone, it's been a while! I just wanted to pop in and say I'm moving soon, so I thought I'd post a few things. My materials are all packed up, so no new stuff yet, but all my jewelry, stickers, bookmarks, etc are available. After I settle into my new place, I'm thinking I'll have a bunch of new things posted and might even set up a little studio area, but I haven't seen the new apartment yet, so… Yeah, we'll get there when we get there lol.

I'll be living on my own then, so any sales will be very helpful. My prices are low and most of my products are unique. I carry jewelry and keychains I've made by hand using mostly reused materials, in all kinds of themes and aesthetics. I also carry secondhand items I've found on my thrifting adventures, and stickers and bookmarks that I've designed myself. I hope to have lots of new designs sometime after I move into my new place, too.

The first time will be the last time.

Tomorrow there will be no posts, and Ozpin Defense Squad will be gone in the evening. I have a week's worth of Daily Oz's available still, so if there's anything you wish to save, save it now.

Thank you all for being here, especially to those who stayed to the very end. It's been a long journey and the time has come for this chapter to close. Almost didn't get it out in time today. It's May the 4th, so we're setting up the original Star Wars trilogy to watch. We managed to get our hands on one of the last releases of the original cut on VHS, so that's cool.

By the way, I still have a couple of Rwby figures and Blu-Rays for sale on Ebay, which you can find here. I hope I can sell these off soon, as rent was a bit hard to make this month, so every little bit helps.

Still gotta get my personal shop sorted out too lol.

The Daily Oz Finale #3

One of mine. It's an older one, but it's one that I cherish. I think the broken clock that spells out E T E R N I T Y rather than numbers is fitting, you know?

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't getting emotional with all these posts and goodbyes, and sometimes I think my attachment to ODS has come back, if only briefly. I think a part of me doesn't want to go, but I have to understand that in the long run, this will be better for me. Even if it hurts.

With all of that said, I've decided to keep the Ozpin Defense Squad name alive by tagging all of my future Ozpin and Oscar artwork with it, over on my art blog.

And maybe, someday, ODS will return in some form, but I don't want to make promises I can't keep. Just know that Oz has gotten me, and us, through a lot and I know that he will continue to do so. Lifetimes of fighting for what he believes in is inspirational, isn't it? End of the world if he doesn't aside, of course.

As a thank you to those who stayed here until the end, I'll be posting Ozpin once every day until ODS is shut down. Think of it as the Daily Oz finale.

The Daily Oz finale, #1

As you may or may not have guessed, I'm not in a great state of mind today (see: today's Daily Oz), so what I'm about to suggest may sound a bit odd, but I assure you, I've been thinking about it for a long time.

I've been told by people around me (in real life) that I could totally sell my art online. Well, that isn't as easy as they think it is (but I appreciate you telling me I can, Mom ❤, it's just such a tough market), but while I may have no luck with commissioned work in this tough market, I have been thinking for a long time, "What if I tried selling my existing work?" The original, unedited traditional art pieces, cropped to cut out the empty space and laminated for protection. They would be one of a kind since they're not copied prints.

But I have no idea how to value my work, so I could either figure that out somehow and sell them "first come first serve" on my StorEnvy, or put them up for auction on eBay and see where that goes? What do you think? A lot of it will be Oz, but I have a wide range of characters ready to go. And if you're interested or would like to help, reblogging is a great way to do so. My parents and sister are willing to help me financially in the short term, but I thought this could be a good way to help pay them back over time. Probably gonna have to start pushing my shop again. Or get around to writing and publishing a book on Amazon. What I make at my job is barely enough for rent, you see. Gotta get creative.

With the struggles I have with my teeth, that are only going to get worse now that I'm moving on to my 3rd decade sooner than I'd like, it's more important than ever that I start to make and save money, which is tough because I'm a shopaholic who loves getting new stuff. Well girl, it's time for new teeth and every bit counts. I just have to work for it.

And since I hope this'll be shared around, here are a few examples of potential pieces:

(The Ozpin and Blake ones are recent pieces, but the Sailor Miku one is a bit older, like maybe 2 years old? So I'll probably draw a new one to put up for market instead, I just wanted to show different characters.)

(i’ve always wanted to draw characters into pictures from real life, and i had some photos from a hiking trip and realized it was as good a time as any to try it so i took the pictures and slapped some ozes on them!!)
