I’ll probably retweak around the pond here but this looks beautiful at night with the moonlight on the flowers, the sky looks so pretty as well!
Lobo startled me as I was running to the sun pond as he’s wearing @atosofficial’s Killercreammare kiddo Falix’s jacket, due to my wearing the Killer dress, I thought it only fitting to get a photo with my grumpy boy
A few different angles on the sun pond, and if anyone is wondering why there’s so much custom pathing, it’s due to the fact that it keeps my flowers from running wild as I time travel to open space for held villagers
Gotta clean up my moon lake a little, but honestly, my island at night is my favorite thing, the moon reflecting on the water is always the best. And these little cushions may be making a return near my celebration area I made, but I’ll be including a Killer and a Cross cushion as well as it’s only right
This chain of phots was purely accidental at the heart pond. @kaspbraksbitch and I joke that this would be if these two had actually communicated what was going on all while we stood on the respective roses. But I’m still overly proud of these two here and this little chain of photos is what led to our photos all over the place. @atosofficial I hope that these bring a smile to both of your faces! You guys rock!
And then this wound up being the strangest photo Chan with that last photo making me laugh far too hard because I managed to snag the heartbreak reaction before the heartbreak and it looks like Shattered is confessing to Nightmare.
Killer’s little mountain now has two iron garden benches out front of it along with a music player, and as you can see the roses are set up to be the rings of his soul as a target. @kaspbraksbitch and I managed to get some of our reactions to match up beautifully and be pretty much same frame which was beyond fun and difficult.
This pond actually took a tutorial and holy crap was it HARD to make, it’s a crescent moon and while I know apples are a tender spot for Night, I couldn’t help but add a single apple tree to the center. I am working on adding in black lilies for the pattern of flowers, but it’s slow going. I also updated where Kaspbraksbitch and I are standing with a zen cushion each, one with a moon, and one with a sun. Butch ended up photobombing the shot at one point and gave me a few Nightmare vibes (but honestly most cranky villagers give me Nightmare vibes). If @atosofficial hadn’t been such an inspiration for me, I don’t think I ever would’ve gone through as much work as I have for this island honestly-
Got some cute photos of @kaspbraksbitch and I in Cross’ outfit at the little waterfall I made. Didn’t realize it until after that On my map it makes an ‘x’ and I did black and purple roses on it originally for Night seeing as it was supposed to be a Dreamtale themed town but it slowly morphed into Killercreammare which I thank @atosofficial for. We were screwing around with reactions throughout the photo time, and sadly this was before I moved my campsite to the beach and got some trees planted to have a few stumps to sit on
I have done some updates to this pond as well as now it’s completely surrounded in yellow roses, there’s a purple at the point of each little triangle and there’s some stone seats in the four corners, but I’m so proud of this pond. A sun is a LOT harder to terraform than it seems
So I’d gone ahead and done some funny little screenshots with @kaspbraksbitch as we cleaned up my island for my Birthday back on May 25th and we decided we were gonna match for present time with the Pre Apple dresses. But as I’ve gone through and added little spots for Dream, Nightmare, Cross, and Killer, we decided to model some of the dresses at the landmark areas. I really do need to thank @atosofficial because they’ve been such an inspiration to me for the design of my town honestly. (The other villager is my mom, as I know she would’ve loved this game and I felt it right to include her seeing as she didn’t make it to see this game release so that home is on a hybrid island in her memory
The flowers I’ve got I ended up actually buying off Nookazon and the people there are so kind, I even managed to get a moon chair! I just need a second in purple for Night as I got the yellow one so far. And because of my dear kaspbraksbitch, I also have golden roses now because she gave me a golden watering can <3
I do have cute photos incoming for ATOSofficial as well because I hope they’ll enjoy some cute photos and some silly photos. The heart pond has the four roses, gold for Dream, black for Night, purple for Cross, and red for Killer, the pond was a debated make but I love it now that I have it
And the last two designs for @atosofficial’s ship children, Nox and Falix! I need a few accessories to properly complete the outfits but I’m working on it as diligently as possible!
I went with the sleeveless dress to give it that sorta tunic like style that Nox has, if there’d been smooth sleeves like in New Leaf I woulda done that to add on glove details, but still quite proud of how their’s came out. I’m thinking I need to lengthen the cyan bits in the front just a bit more but at the same time I don’t want to mess it up ^^;
And I went with the hoodie for Falix as honestly I couldn’t think of a decent design for any of the dresses, and his jacket does have a hood on it. I’m honestly so proud of this one, especially with how the back turned out! I was stressing mad hard on this one at first but, I think he turned out quite well! And just like with Killer, I had to add his soul, that was a given
So first up for @atosofficial’s ship kiddos, we have outfits based on both Lux and Armonia.
Lux was such an inspiration for a dress, and she was the only one I could see with the ballgown style (also her design for ATOS has me coping, I adore it!) Im upset that I couldn’t make the marks smooth as it’s based on colors in game and if the colors are too different then they don’t mesh pretty. I tried squeezing in as much detail as possible for each kiddo though and I’m beyond proud of Lux’s dress
Armonia was the last one I actually made and she was a fight! At first I thought the bubble dress would look good, replicating the poof of her overalls but that was a bust as it stretched the design awkwardly. Squishing down the Killercreammare symbol was difficult, especially with doing half on the front and half on the back. That moon feels off... But despite that I’m super proud of this one too! I couldn’t make it a proper open shoulder shirt but I think her dress turned out well!
I’m an idiot and realized after you answered the ask I put New Leaf instead of New Horizons ;-; I’m a dork, and I apologize for that ^^; Also I made a Derse Dreamer-esque hoodie if you want it Type!
I got carried away and got another idea for Corrupted Nightmare (and I hurt myself with the heart in the back because my purse makes it look like the heart is broken in half. 😭) I wanted to rework how the skirt looked and have it pinned up with the moon in turn and I attempted to make a lace like look on the arms but it is hard with the inability to do anything transparent. I was trying to go for a sort of sheer ability on the neck but that’s just my hopeful self wanting to make sheer spots on dresses, turned it into more of a necklace like item with the moon. (Needed to change poses so as to show off the moon clip on the hip)
And then Corrupt Nightmare always inspires a Shattered Dream idea with me, so the main things I knew I needed to tie in was an apple (with the negativity wrapped around and oozing over it) and the Shattered sun inspired by a Cream picture of Cross holding hands with Shattered Dream, the broken sun on the cowl around the lower half of the face. I left the cloak off this time, substituting it with a sash around the waist instead as Shattered did get a recent redesign and the cloak has sadly been taken away.
The last two dresses I made were for Cross and Killer, was not expecting the posing with the Killer dress to end up with a smug face, ngl, but it’s honestly adorable.
So for Cross I went with the robe dress here as it seemed a bit more fitting than the other options available. I still grabbed the basic style from his outfit but added in a couple details like the Purple Hearts on the back of the sleeves and the connected sun and moon on the main portion as a call back to Dream and Night (honestly inspired by the cowl in Empireverse). layers are a lot harder in this game than they seem-
Killer’s dress was honestly simple yet fun. Something loose around the legs for easy movement, and I was able to turn it into a shirt and skirt combo with a little blazer. The hems id the sleeves have dust and blood splattered over them, and while I didn’t try my hardest to make fur on it, Cross’ outfit killed me on that one, I’m praising myself on the soul I fit into the design. The skirt was originally just white with the black stripe down each side to resemble his shorts but it seems lacking so I added the other stripes on as well.
Next up are the Dream themed dresses, I may make a third more centered around having something themed proper for Killercreammare as I couldn’t find a good way to tie in a moon or anything of the sort on this one.
First up is the pre apple incident Dream dress themed heavily on the original look Dream had, couldn’t leave out his cute cape though! And I thought, especially with the way I included apples on Nightmare’s uncorrupted dress, it was fitting to add the one apple Dream has to this dress.
Second up we have the post apple incident Dream themed around his redesigned outfit, including his scarf. I was blanking on how to tie a moon in here so I copped out and put an apple instead, but the black for the skirt is not only for the black of the regular outfit, it’s also in a way for Nightmare as they have reconnected.
First up are the two dresses for Nightmare that I designed, the first one is pre apple incident with an attempt at capturing the royal purples and golds of his original look. There’s a little gold crescent moon at the hip as well as I wanted a way to tie in the moon motif.
Second up is the Corrupted Nightmare dress that was my first design as I adore Nightmare wholeheartedly and I thought of something regal for him. I went with a layered cyan underskirt with the black bodice, and I’ll admit I made the moon a tad large, but at the same time, he is still much like the moon. I added the star after some heavy debate in a lavender as it’s a small call back to his pre corruption days, but at the same time, it’s like Dream has worked his way back into Night’s life (a star for a Star Sans in a way)
So I went ahead and snagged some more close up shots for you, I wish I’d been thinking before getting them put together like this as I would’ve been snapping photos of each individual skeleton ^^; Gonna toss it under a read more because it got long >.>
First up I grabbed a better look at Cross, especially since I did this with only a few glances at his reference while I was at work. He was not as difficult as I originally imagine but he was still quite difficult simply because I lacked a fair bit of white and black. I’d double checked your look on him more than once as well to make sure I used the right rhinestones for his eyes and to see if he had the red mark on his cheek that I saw frequently in his design.
Next I wanted a close shot of Dream’s scarf/cloak as I did put the sun on the back. After all; you can’t have Dream without his scarf! This bad boy was a slow piece together but oh so worth it!
I grabbed a closer shot of Dream as well seeing as I went completely off memory on him color and outfit wise. I’d only forgotten the little pink orb on the front originally, but that was a quick fix.
You are right on Killer’s soul! It is heart shaped and honestly I’m quite proud of it! I had issues originally simply because I kept making it far too big and had to keep shrinking it down so it fit
A closer look at Cross’ fur, I used my wire cutters after making it slightly rolled out and clipped in an attempted pattern like design so as to make it possible to look like fur, it’s not that stubborn. And I love how thin I rolled the cape/cloak thing because that dent for his foot was accidental, the clay did that itself.
A better look at Killer’s fur as well, granted it’s not as fluffy as Cross’, I’m still over the moon on getting the color I did. This fur kept trying to follow Killer when his head was falling off.
And finally a better look at Nightmare’s face, one because he kinda looks like he’s leaning his cheek ever so gently against Cross’ arm, but also because this was not my original Nightmare head. Had an accident yesterday where the container I used to transport them fell off my roommate’s dashboard in her car and they all snapped apart (all I’d needed to do to finish was add Cross’s eyes, his fur and cloak, and Night’s tentacles) Even so with that misfortune, he still turned out wonderful I think!
BONUS
Figured I might share the aftermath of Sai’s accident and how it looked with just being Dreammare (sans Dream’s head) Also Cross joined the “Keep your damn head on please I’m begging you” squad a few times
After three days of work and the absolute chaos that was today, I can proudly show off my newest project for @atosofficial. What started as just a cute Dreammare thing turned into a “This looks barren... They need something I just can’t tell what!” And this is the new result!
Yes they’re shiny with super glue and honestly probably shouldn’t be seen from behind, but I’m still extremely proud (even of Killer kept trying to grope Nightmare xD) I used rhinestones for the eyes, and model magic clay for the bodies.

Also me as his head falls off again: WHY IS EVERYONE LOSING THEIR GODDAMN HEADS?!? First Nightmare can’t keep his head on after I put Dream in his lap, the Dream lost his head p damn fast, and now Killer keeps losing his! I swear if Cross loses his damn head I’m going to sob

I hope you don’t mind that I got a bit of a random inspiration and wanted to make a little killercreammare thing. I know that Dream and Nightmare are usually shown with hearts or apples, but I thought there might be a little cute symbolism in having the sun and moon. I tried to have the sun seem as if the moon was wrapped around it, protecting it, and the sun still offered its warmth and care even while cradled by the moon. And then Killer and Cross are nestled in the combined sun and moon as they were brought into the relationship after it had been founded. I was originally going to the spinning hearts emoji as reference, but it didn’t turn out well in my attempt so I hope that they look alright.
