It’s getting to the point where I’ve had to start blocking people whose blogs I usually like because the doomposting is getting unbearable. Rolin doesn’t secretly hate Armand. We haven’t even seen Armand’s arc yet and there’s already this assumption it’s going be bad based on absolutely nothing. I get that the posts are just venting because they’re worried and that Sam has said some questionable things but honestly Sam has always said questionable things (I love him to death to be clear) that don’t necessarily reflect the show as a whole. That’s why I’m blocking instead of arguing with them but god it’s just getting to be too much.

Literally nothing has happened yet. It would be crazy for them to create this fascinating nuanced character and then flatten him in the third season. At no point has Armand not been taken seriously as a character or treated with care, and Rolin recently did a solo interview that confirmed as much.

And there’s a general lack of consideration for the detail put into the sets too. There’s this assumption that this season is being made less thoughtfully and it’s just not true. People are just not paying attention.

Praying that people stop taking absolutely everything in bad faith and let the tale seduce them because it’s meant be the people who hate Armand who talk about him like this. Not his fans.

We have five weeks left. Let’s actually see the show before we discuss all the ways in which it failed.

This blog was created to foster a healthy community, help others educate themselves, & give people language & a space to talk about their experiences to feel less alone. Because when I was a young trans child that's what I lacked, & it really deppressed me for many years.
