Do you read manga?

"Not often. I think the last time I did is when Kaito talked me into reading that Shoujo crap. Manga isn't really my cup of tea per se but occasionally I will pick one up and read it for a bit."

"I did well used to. I was really into it for a while but then my obsession over it kinda ended quickly. I guess I forgot to mention that I get bored of games quickly too."

"Now that's a tough question but I guess the first series that came to mind was Final Fantasy! Actually I think earlier today I saw a woman who looked like Aeris and she was selling flowers... But it probably was just a person who looked like her no way she could of been the real thing."

Meiko I didn't know you were a gamer! What games do you like to play?

"When I have free time I am! I play really anything that suits my fancy, from rpgs to sharpshooters you name it I've probably played it once or twice."

What do you think of Mai Valentine?

"I haven't spoken to her very much but from what I can tell she is a woman who is perfectly comfortable in her own skin and that's something to be admired. We need more honest people around here, no one likes liar and most people can see right through shallow lies so really there is no reason to beat around the bush."

Normally Lucy wouldn’t be out in Arcadios at night as she liked to sit in her Village hut, and continue to write her book but tonight she was feeling risky like something really exciting was going to happen. The blonde made her way in the Polis, and took a deep breath as she heard a ruckus going on in one of the places she passed.

Her brown eyes looked up at the sign, noticing that it seemed to be a bar that the noise was coming from. Taking a look to the side, a simple glance Lucy went in without a second thought and saw that a few people were staring at a set stage at the edge of the tavern. That caught her attention so the celestial spirit mage made her way over, waiting for this show to start.

As it did her eyes widened as a silky smooth voice echoed throughout the small tavern, and Lucy was fixated on the brunette who had been singing. Lucy herself wasn’t much of a singer, she could hold a note or two but nothing like this! She found herself lucky tonight that she came here being able to listen, and enjoy herself.

Before she knew it, the singing was over and Lucy’s eyes only followed the woman who had been singing to where she sat up at the bar. Taking a chance she followed, approaching her back with a smile fixated onto her lips.

“Hi!” She started, placing a hand to her side as she spoke to the short-haired brunette. “This is my first time here, but I really enjoyed myself! You have a really nice voice by the way!” With her free hand she rubbed the back of her neck thinking how lame that sounded now. “Do you sing here often? I’ll have to come back sometime to hear you sing again if that’s the case!”

Nearly two aching minutes later a martini slid in front of brunette. She brought the glass to her lips taking a small sip before she noticed a flash of blonde hair out of the corner of her eye. Licking the small bit of salt off her lips she smiled at the approaching stranger. It was obvious she wasn't a regular here she didn't seem like the type of girl that hangs around these parts, specially this late at night. Nonetheless she maintained her pleasant expression.

Turning around in her chair to face young female as long graceful digits bounded against the wood in a steady rhythmic pattern. She was a cheery girl from what she could tell, definitely friendly. The Old Toad was notorious for attracting young teenagers searching for a grownup adventure which they were years away from being ready to experience. Though this girl didn't seem like the type to be so impulsive which was admirable. Meiko wasn't one to talk though, she made it through her teenager years with the same amount of alcohol as her adult ones. She sure is a great role model, isn't she?

She nodded once as signal for the girl to continue to speak after her small greeting. Not the least bit surprised when she admitted that is was her first time at the tavern. "I'm glad you enjoyed the show dear and thank you for the kind words." Compliments weren't something new to her but she made sure never to let it go to her head. The voice is only half the idol the other half is charisma and that includes maintaining an air of modesty, to a certain extent that is. No one likes a diva no matter how talented they may be.

She could see that the girl was feeling bit uncomfortable with what she had just said but there was no need to feel awkward in Meiko's presence. It was hard to pass judgement on people after all the strange performers she had encountered in the music industry. Let's not forget about BeBe that rapping belly dancer, that was a scene she wish she could erase from her mind. Next to BeBe this girl was the epitome of normal.

"I do actually. About three times a week, sometimes more when needed."  She took another sip from her glass placing it down with a soft clang as it made contact with hard-wood surface. "I do hope that you do. You meet some interesting people when hanging around in these parts." A chuckle escaped her ruby stained lips. "I don't think I got your name, I'm Meiko by the way." Casually leaving her last name out of the introduction since she was so used to being called by her stage name which was simply 'MEIKO' and nothing more.

What is your favorite song to sing?

"That's actually a really difficult question Anon. But the first song that came to mind was 'Various Feelings' basically it's a song about growing up and letting go of insignificant problems in order to transition into being an adult. It was a song near and dear to my heart when my master began to rebuild my body and rewire my hard drive for the sake of creating an older version of my former sixteen-year-old self. It was a long and difficult process but that song made it bearable."
