7/11 breathing. A skill to use for anxiety. It’s recommended to do it for 10-15 minutes. Like any other skill it does require a lot of practice. I advice that you practice it when you are feeling calm so you are ready in a time of need. If you lose count, which is easily done, simply start again until you do 15 minutes. It will also help with distraction even if you don’t get it right the first hundred times.
Breathing out longer than you breathe in actually activates your parasympathetic nervous system!
Anxiety is your sympathetic nervous system (“fight or flight”) setting off all the alarms, while breathing like this will set the parasympathetic system (“rest and digest”) into action shutting off the alarms and settling your nerves.
Other things that help: laughing, checking out what’s going on around you (moving head and eyes to orient to your surroundings), getting curious about something.
Take care, be safe.

Let’s face it, eating well is expensive… or it can be. Buying produce that is either organically (or biodynamically grown) is not cheap. But ingesting pesticide residue is anything but ideal.
Luckily, you can shave a few bucks off your grocery bill by growing a few of those staples from your diet. Best part, it is much easier than you think! You don’t need seeds or anything fancy. You can simply use kitchen scraps from your next meal. How great is that!
Yaaay libraries!
Six simple rituals: 1. Drink a glass of water when you wake up. Your body loses water while you sleep, so you’re naturally dehydrated in the morning. A glass of water when you wake helps start your day fresh. 2. Define your top 3. Every morning ask yourself, “What are the top three most important tasks that I will complete today?” Prioritizes your day accordingly and don’t sleep until the Top 3 are complete. 3. The 50/10 Rule. Solo-task and do more faster by working in 50/10 increments. Use a timer to work for 50 minutes on only one important task with 10 minute breaks in between. Spend your 10 minutes getting away from your desk, going outside, calling friends, meditating, or grabbing a glass of water. 4. Move and sweat daily. Regular movement keeps us healthy and alert. It boosts energy and mood, and relieves stress. 5. Express gratitude. Gratitude fosters happiness. Each morning, think of at least five things you’re thankful for. In times of stress, pause and reflect on these things. 6. Reflect daily. Bring closure to your day through 10 minutes of reflection. Asks yourself, “What went well?” and “What needs improvement?”

The joys of a cup of tea.
This is why I drink about 5 cups of tea a day.
Must. Drink. Moar. Tea.
I love this gif because just look her.. She doesnt even flinch..Shes all like “Theres a chance I may die but who cares”
This has to be the saddest, most disturbing gif ever.
2 years ago I started dieting and lost over 40 lbs in like 6 months. but then Christmas came and I started eating sweets and fats again and didn't stop after holidays... I put up like 30 lbs again and I now have no motivation to keep fighting because I know it all will come back again one way or another. I'm so tired of dieting... please help
So don’t diet.
"What?! But what are you talking about? You have to diet to lose weight!"
You don’t. Losing weight is not about dieting. It’s about changing your lifestyle into a healthy one. The word diet suggests restricting, and restricting leads to bingeing and unhealthy habits. Eating clean is often thought of as an 80/20 rule - if you eat clean 80% of the time, the other 20% is for indulgences and moderation. You can’t avoid unhealthy food forever. It’s a part of living life. You can learn how to enjoy it in moderation or make “clean” versions and still be healthy. Don’t let the food rule you.
Eating clean and partaking in exercise can be a part of your daily life. It’s hard, but if it’s something you really want, you can work your butt off and achieve all of your goals. Just remember to give yourself time. You can’t develop these healthy habits overnight. Speaking from personal experience, you can be on this journey for years and still have setbacks. It’s a constant battle, but it’s worth it.
