A story I heard: On the bus me and my Percy Jackson obsessed friends were sitting around when one of them decides to shout I hate you Poseidon! All the windows fall down and heavy rain begins (well it is Georgia...tends to rain a lot). Once she apologized the ran immediately stopped.

Twilight

I know we are all entitled to our opinions, so please people respect mine. I am not a twilight fan. In fact I can't stand the tastlessness of it all. My dream is to become an author one day, but if people are reading my stuff just because they think the characters are hot then I wil have considered myself a failure. I want to create a character that is strong, learns to battle between good and bad, will always stand up for what is right even if he/ she is alone in the thought, and most importantly will not stop fighting until the battle of good has won. I think we all need characters like this.

Not characters who will lose it if thier boyfriend has gone away for her safety. Don't get me wrong I hate Edward Cullen with a passion. The characters have no complexity such as Snape (No, I am not an overt Snape Fan Girl). For those of you who are with me I strongly suggest you go and vist a little site called pottermore. Why? Beause it is satire. There is nothing in the world I love more than satire...well of course Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and Italian food are taken out of this equation.

I wouldn't have wanted to spend them any other way than they way I did, watching all the movies until my eyes got so horrible that eye doctor said I needed glasses (I wanted ones just like Harry's), reading all the books until my eyes grew red and puffy from crying and dark circles were underneath them for reading until 3 a.m., and most importantly believes in the magic that inspired us all. Harry and I have been through alot. I was one year old to the date when Harry Potter and the Sorcerror's Stone was published (in the U.K.). I wouldn't say my life is over in fact it is just beginning. I now have a chance to imagine more adventures of Harry and his friends. I will be a loyal, wise, ambitious, and brave fan of Harry Potter.

Now, I have never been an overtly Snape fan girl, I must admit that this scene had me in tears.
