There is just one piece of candy left at the front door and no one to be found. It tastes like lemon cake.
"Hah?"
Really it's... kind of a miracle that Nnoitra didn't just step over (or on) the candy. He bends down, able to recognize the wrapping is a treat, at least. He sniffs it, eyes it closely as a beast does, before unwrapping it. It doesn't smell bad.
Almost tentatively, he licks it. It doesn't taste bad, either.
Popping the whole candy into his mouth, he lets out a pleased hum, before continuing on his way.
It makes at least the next few moments of his day enjoyable.
"...The hell's with that getup? Didn't think ya liked fur an' thigh-highs."

DISDAIN THAT BARELY GRAZES the surface of her Hierro as it registers. She’s become accustomed to Nnoitra’s manner of speech – of expressing himself, over the years (no: decades) that they’ve resided within Hueco Mundo. For a moment, she doesn’t so much as raise an eyebrow nor tear her gaze from the paperback she’d been immersed in before he’d disrupted her rare moment of peace. ❝And since when have you taken an interest in my attire?❞ Attention has been torn away from her book now as she responds, voice as calm and even as ever.

It's a sound of disdain, nose turning up at her as if offended by her answering his question with one of her own. Nelliel was always so difficult and couldn't just answer simple questions. Two could play this game.

❝ you absolutely did hear- ❞ Akari, bristled at that. Her rieatsu tremored under her skin -- threatening to spill out. But in these halls it was forbidden. An inhale followed to cool it. Her voice, repeated again, was louder & clearer than her usual croak.

He snickers, wishing he'd have some kind of recording-- maybe he'd risk the visit to Szayelaporro's palace just to see if he's got some sort of surveillance in this part of the palace that he can snatch a copy from.

it's just as weird for ya to have an hr department as it is for ya to have customer service. maybe y'all wouldn't suck so much if you opened yourselves up to criticism. this is why i gave you one star on glassdoor.
