Lately I've been thinking about something. And I have so many different problems with the way this world runs. I'm going to try to pour a little of my soul into everything. Let's start with school. We sit 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, 365 days a year just for one thing....to pass. What you might ask, what a great question. See their not just giving us a test to pass. If you don't pass this test you are simply "not smart enough" you don't meet the requirements to be what you want to be. They tell you all this information and lately school isn't....school. They make you sit there and write notes, but are kids actually learning? No. Their just writing words on a paper and not taking it in. See in the eyes of a kid they only know one thing. That is that they need to write these notes, they need to study, they need to pay attention. All for one thing. To pass. To pass some silly questions on a silly test. And when their scores aren't high enough, they aren't good enough. I feel like school isn't even about learning these days. It's all about you need to know this to pass the test Friday. You need to know this to pass the grade. You need to know this to get into college. What everybody needs to know is that kids aren't machines. You expect us to go through 8 hours of school. Then go home to do more homework. We get pushed to our limits all for a grade so what? We can pass.........
