Johanna shifted uncomfortably where she sat; unnerved by what this little girl described. “Wait, no one was home? Are you saying that it’s not just your sister that you’re having trouble finding? Where are your parents?” When the girl approached her in search of her sister, JJ had thought that it was a minor case of two sisters having strayed from one another. But it was an entirely different case—and a disconcerting one at that if the child couldn’t find her family either.Â
Samara looked around as if to see her parents in the passing crowd, but she knew they wouldn't be there. "I--I don't know." She told the woman turning back to face her. "Maybe they are just looking for me, I woke up in some apartment and I don't even know how I got there. They are probably really worried." She wasn't so sure about them looking for her, but had no other explanation for where they could be.
